I loved our getaway to San Francisco. It was hard watching the TV from where it was, it was very uncomfortable.

Hotel within walking distance of Ferry Bldg, Sat. farmer's market, shopping,theater, great restaurants, & easy acces to other landmarks. Our only comment is our room's carpet (old & stained) should be replaced & austere wall colors are 50's. Wall hangings would be nice. One great print in the room. The blackout curtains are the best we've ever used, easy to close & they worked. Wifi, of course they have it!

Very exellent!

Everything was great except the dirty band-aid in the bathroom.

All but ONE thing was great about this hotel! Three of the four bottles in our mini bar were full of water- not vodka! Sneaky previous stayers- but the hotel replaced it and made it very quick and easy for us to enjoy our in room cocktails! Will definitely stay again.

Excellent price and a great location...hotel was clean with a great staff. Would definently stay again...

Upgrade to the 24th floor gave us beautiful views of the city.

The Westin St. Francis made everything easy and comfortable. Very clean, great location!

My boyfriend and I needed a mini-getaway, in the city. I've always wanted to stay here and was not disappointed. The service was great but the room was even better. A free upgrade at the front desk led us to a suite with great views overlooking the square, a chandelier (my fav!) and plenty of space! Will definitely book this again.

We loved that this property has been so cherished and refurbed. Our room was large and clean. In-room coffee service was much appreciated. Price was the best in the area.

We come to SF a couple of times a year for shopping and always try to stay at the St Francis because of its ideal location. It's right in the middle of everything.

Clean hotel, close to cable car. Hotel staff very helpful. My parents stayed here nearly 60 years ago for their honeymoon.

Checked us in early when we asked; receptionist very helpful. Light bulb not replaced when we asked. Very comfortable stay.

Classic hotel, best location in town, I recommend this hotel 110%

I stayed in the tower building on my recent stay at the hotel. I should have known to be suspicious when I walked into the room and the bathroom door was made of heavy steel. I soon realized the reason was because they were trying to contain the loud and continual clanking of the pipes in the walls. It was very loud, and even closig the heavy steel door couldn't entirely mitigate hearing the noise in the main part of the room. I it a good price through hotels.com, but I was disappointed that I was given a subpar room.

Good location, but there are other much nicer places to stay in SF. This was an expensive business focused hotel with lousy rooms, no personality and poor service. I felt like I was at Howard Johnson's. Not good.

We stayed there to be with our married daughter and family who were here for a work conference. For the price, I was disappointed. The lighting in the bathroom was terrible, you had to move away from the sink to have the light on your face, lousy for shaving. The heating/cooling unit was very noisy, with a strong breeze and either blew hot or cold according to your temp or you had to turn it off completely. The car valet service was very nice, but you paid for it. You are paying for the location. Convenient to Union Square and surrounding shopping. The room was clean and comfortable, but seriously overpriced.

This hotel was excellent! It was absolutely clean and the room was full of all of the modern amenities, but was very old fashioned, as well. My room had a beautiful chandelier, glass door knobs, and beautiful crown-molding! The hotel is located right off Union Square, so close to all of the shopping and right at the heart of a very active part of San Francisco! I would definitely stay here again. It was an absolutely amazing experience.

It was ok. Nothing special and for the price I think it was poor. Expensive internet and parking etc. Would think internet could be included in the rate of a mediocre room. Nothing that was special. Old and not very up to date.

It was a great location for work, getting around the entire bay area, as well as shopping. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was not what I expected. I have stayed here before and the room was huge and very nice. Our room this time was barely 200 sf! I could walk in and be on the bed. It was difficult to find the room as they were numbered all crazy! Not impressed....won't stay again.

The hotel has a great location and the room was clean. That's about as good as it gets. I booked what they called the deluxe tower king room which promises a lot of things but doesn't deliver. The promised view on the 17th floor was that of an adjacent building. Absolutely no views of city, square, downtown, or water. It was very loud where street sounds seemed to echo in the room. The shower was exceptionally tiny. When we checked in, our room was not ready till 5:30PM. Parking is a mandatory expensive rate and it takes 15 minutes to get your car. It is simply a great way to mess up your vacation. it takes you less time to drive from the airport hotels than it does to get your car from Valet parking. Internet is extra, water is extra.

check out process was way too long since i'm not part of their premere group
