Very nice and comfortable room. Great location. Friendly and helpful service

The hotel itself was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we - myself, my husband, two-year-old and baby - got little sleep because of the room next to us. We complained and the hotel security kindly handled the situation.

The Copley Place Westin is physically attached to the Copley shopping galleria. There are escalators and walkways that allow one to easily walk from your room to the Top of the Pru, great shopping, and Legal Seafood. The hotel is across the street from the Back Bay Amtrak station, the Boston Public Library, and the Copley subway station.

The room was comfortable and cleaned. The concierges were very helpful and friendly.

Excellent hotel and location in the heart of Back Bay and within yards of public transit. Staff was extremely helpful. We got a large room with a great view of Boston and across the river to Cambridge -- and at least half the rooms have that view so try for it. To grab an affordable breakfast (as opposed to hotel cafe), you just have to walk into adjoining mall for Starbucks or more varied choices in the same mall at Au Bon Pain.

Thanks for providing a peaceful, luxorious haven for my daughter n i. My third stay @ this hotel in past 9 months.

Copley Square is great. So many great Boston sites just a short walk away. I was very impressed by the service. I had heard glowing reviews of the view. I had booked a Riverview room through Hotels.com, but when my family got there, they had run out of them (over Memorial Day weekend). Then the front desk offered a "Cityview" and gave us free breakfasts (which were really really great). But maybe I could have gotten a higher room. Floors go up to 36. We parked at 100 Claredon.

The staff treated my 21 year old daughter like royalty. It couldn't have been better.Thank you,

I loved the location, great access to wonderful shopping and restaurants and the T. Friendly and professional check-in, friendly staff all around. Everyone was helpful. Two, minor complaints: bed pillows need to be improved/replaced (two of four stunk, but we did not complain or give Westin a chance to replace with new pillows as we were simply too busy); and, valet parking overnight is outrageously expensive, more than any other hotel we've ever stayed at (but, we knew this going in). Wonderful bartender, okay bar food (inexplicably very slow service on a Tuesday afternoon), very clean rooms and good towels. Adequate gym.

You can't beat the location of this hotel. Across the street from the amtrak station, a close walk to the convention center and the great shops and restaurants on newberry street With that said, the hotel is a big concrete structure from the outside, it is easy to overlook since there is no big entrance and the name is not obviously placed. I am a starwoods point member and they upgraded me to a lovely jr. suite with great views. The room was quite nice however it smelled moldy. I"m not sure how that is since I was on the 17th floor. I was struck by this each and every time i came in the room. I would have changed if i was staying more than one night.

Our rooms couldn't have been more comfortable and beautiful. I often feel that I don't get a good room until after I arrive and ask for a better room; not here. Both rooms had spectacular views. Our every need and desire was attended to. Will return to the hotel whenever I have the opportunity.

I've stayed at the Westin before and it is one of my favorite hotels. Their beds are very comfortable and all employess are super nice, efficient, and friendly.

I have stayed here a few times over the last 15 years. It is in an excellent location. The rooms are just fine, standard Marriot or Sheraton type. Tiny bathrooms, with shower in the tub, which is always less than optimal. We arrived late in the night with ourkids to an executive suite -- the mean lady next door immediately got up to berate us for being noisy -- the doors are horrible and you can hear everything! The pool area has no locker and the pool itself could just as well be in a medical rehab facility -- no charm at all!In its day it was a 4 star property with a 5 star location. By today's standards, it is a 3-star property with a 4.5 star location, as there are so many more options even closer to Boston Common now. I will only go back if there are no other choices.

Located in Back Bay near shopping. Not very close to most historic sites. However, it's all walkable. Convenient to subway, which is easy. Good shoe shine guy. Perfectly nice hotel. Good value. Not an intimate hotel.

The hotel was clean and attractive. The staff in bar10 was insufficient to serve the patrons on Sunday at 1pm. The concierge was not very helpful in supplying a list of alternate restaurants and was rude. Room service was good.

The hotel was nice, but the rates were EXPENSIVE. If you fleece me on hotel rates, then I shouldn't have to pay: 1) $50 a day for parking, 2) $12.95 a day for internet access, 3) No fridge in the room (in a SUITE, nonetheless!), 4) Tiny bathroom, no jaccuzzi

They say location is everything and this is no different. Awesome location. However, we also stayed at the Intercontinental and those rooms are far, far more luxurious and more modern than the Westin. Having Enterprise in the basement was a huge plus for us!

everything was perfect except for parking. first, it's outrageously expensive and not competitive with the surrounding areas. second, they keep up a sign at valet that says full, but I watched three cars enter and get parked.

Hotel was very nice. But beware the hidden costs like $47 per day for parking and almost $5 for a cup of coffee or juice!

Went on a short vaca with two young children. The hotel was surprisingly family friendly. Pool was great, staff were very helpful, room was immaculate. Very close to lots of dining and shopping - you can literally use the skywalks to shop the whole neighborhood without ever going outside. Definitely recommended!!

I did enjoy the hotel. It was very clean but they charged $47 per night for parking and $13 per night for in room Wi-Fi. I just thought that was expensive. I only stayed at this hotel since my girlfriends job fair was there. Had I been more familiar with the area, I would have probably stayed at the Hyatt near by. The Hyatt had a bus service from the airport to the hotel, but the Westin Copley did not. Again, just thought a hotel this expensive would have provided that. I will give them credit. Their gym was excellent and they did not charge you for using it. :)

My kids and I spent one night at the hotel. They loved it. There was a movie the night we got there, with pop corn and beverages. They even let us bring in the food we had ordered in the restaurant because we were kind of late. Swimming pool and attached mall was a big plus too.

I stayed at the Westin Copley Place 8 years ago, and the infrastructure is in decline. Bathrooms do not ventilate, leaving peeling paint and foggy mirrors. I attended a conference and would not recommend it for that purpose to others (7th floor small conference rooms in particular were like sweaty lockers, the air handling was so poor). On the surface, linens and bed are comfortable; lamps have dangling, broken fixtures; cheap quality. For $240/night, you can do better, although the location at Copley is positive for trains and shopping.

Unbelievable location! Easy to get everywhere...centrally located. Everyone was very professional and helpful. Definitely will return!

Our kids absolutely LOVE staying at the Westin in Boston's Back Bay, in fact, they refuse to stay any where else when we visit Beantown! Location is wonderful, the hotel is terrific & the beds & pillows are the best in the biz... Back Bay Westin is brilliant!

Our stay at the Westin Copley Place was great! We love Westins specifically for their Heavenly Beds...they are amazing!! Our room over looked Copley Square so we could see the festivities going on. The staff were wonderful too. We did not eat at any of the restaurants so no comment in that area. Also enjoyed the fact that we could walk from the Prudential Center all the way through to our hotel without going outside. Very nice feature during New England Winters. The only "negative" I would have to give the hotel took place during our workouts in the gym. The TVs provided on the treadmills did not have cable...just basic 6-8 channels. That was very disappointing considering we were working out for about 2 1/2 hours. Other than that we LOVED the Westin!

A fine hotel...courteous service. A terrific room with that looked good after every cleaning.

only issue was parking. Hotel person said that there was more inexpensive parking nearby. The doorman said it was the same price as valet. Not sure who was accurate.
