Room great - bed very comfortable. Bathroom small. Noise level from concert in the Fountain area was a little too loud.

Close to museums, and Fountain Square plus restaurants. Comfortable and convenient. It could use a few more elevators, as one was down during our visit.

Nice but needs new carpet.

Our room had a wonderful view of Fountain Square. The room was clean, the bed was perfect, everything was as it should be. Everything important about Cincinnati is nearby: great food, local favorites like Skyline Chili, the stadiums, etc. The staff were courteous and professional. I had no complaints.

Was a little disappointed with the construction going on early in the am. Not what you would want to hear on a Saturday morning. The plumbing was plugged up and made the room a bit stinky!

The hotels was nice and very centrally located. However, we picked the wrong weekend because the Taste of Cincinnati was going on. The only downside about this was the re-routed traffic and expensive valet/self parking. Overall, the room was very nice and updated. Would stay again.

Kong room not as nice as my last stay in Dec 2010 even though this room was the same price.

Fantastic stay...great accommodations with wonderful easy access to events on Fountain Square. Looking forward to a return visit.

Very nice hotel with a superb location on the Cincinnati skywalk. The double bed rooms are small but well furnished.

Great hotel. Thermometer did not work in the room so it was very hot. Nice location. Too far to walk for self parking to lobby check in.

When we arrived at 3:30 (check-in is supposed to be at 3pm), we were told that our room was not ready. An entire room full of people were told the same thing. Unfortunately, you can't even use the lobby bathroom without a room key, so we were left in no-mans-land with our baggage and no place to go. It was 5pm before we were allowed to check-in, and many other people were still waiting. Upon entering our room, there was a pair of children's socks left on the floor. Also, unless you pay the extra for a premium view, your view will consist of some air-conditioning units and the back of an old building. There was a mini-fridge, but it was turned off/nonfunctional and empty. The linens and towels are scratchy and rough. Despite all this,the furnishings are nice, and the location is fantastic. If it wasn't for the poor service, this hotel would be great. I would recommend parking in the public lot directly under the Westin. We parked there from Saturday at 3:30 to Sunday at 5:30 for only $20.

Directly adjacent to Fountain Square and conveniently near the interstate, this hotel is excellent for pleasure or business stays. The price is affordable for a downtown hotel. Bed is very comfortable and staff is very friendly.

Valet Parking isn't or you can pay each 8hrs in the deck below the hotel. Free wireless in the lobby was nice along with the refreshments. Lobby bar WAY WAY over priced. To get internet in your room is a upcharge per day. Starbucks coffee in room, 2 servings and if you want more that is extra. Quiet at night. Great view from 10th floor room. The spa was a little dirty, but was on the 17th floor pretty sweet (along with workout center and pool) There was also an open shower to rinse off before and after entering the pool/spa, but no one seemed to use it (I did). Front desk was very helpful with suggesting Restaurants. The valet will catch you a cab and make sure the driver knows where he's going. Taxis in Cincinnati are hit and miss, took 3 cabs on my weekend trip and 2 were absolutely horrible but the one the hotel gave me was decent. There is an express checkout where you can drop you key cards. Super great location in the center of downtown, you can walk to anything you desire. I would stay there again but I would plan out my taxi service before hand.

We were in town for a get together and this hotel served it's purpose. They have a nice gym, pool, jacuzzi, and a cafe with excellent breakfast. They were even nice enough to help us order Pizza delivery. The staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. Rooms were super clean and comfy.

Nice hotel in Nice area. Great restraunts close by. From there it was down hill. Took my wife for romantic weekend away, to have the made walk in on us, no nock, no nothing. She says she had wrong room, her manager says she had just cleaned and was checking it. Regardless it should have never happened. Did not make us feel good about leaving our stuff in the room when we went to dinner. Walls are thin and you can hear everything, (Like the maid that was mad that I called the front desk banging stuff in the room next door.) Other than this poor start, everything was good. Note: 28 dollors to valet your car, very high for the area.

This is definitely one of the more luxurious options for hotels in downtown Cincinnati. Although not 100% perfect, we definitely would stay here again. The rooms are clean, and cleanly designed, with nice big, "heavenly" beds. One note, I think I got a first-time bed-maker, as the sheets weren't properly tucked, but that was easily remedied. We arrived with tons of Christmas presents, and wanted to bring them up to the room for safety, which proved no problem for the door guys and the bellhop. Convenient (although possibly not the cheapest) parking directly under the hotel. Nice breakfast cafe on the first floor. Room service came really quickly and pleasantly...and no hiccups/delays on Christmas day. We could hear a little noise from the hallway and next door, but nothing majorly disruptive. Great city view from the 13th floor. Super easy express checkout. Overall, very nice.

Pros: Best Location in downtown Cincin Close parking garages if you want to self park Great views in the rooms if your on the fountain view side Clean, newly renovated rooms with flat screen TVs Pool and gym on top floor Cons: $28 for valet Pay for Internet Beds are not so "heavenly" but suffice The "heavenly shower" is a joke. It's just a shower head with two spouts that lowers the pressure of the shower when used. All in all it's a great place to stay. Just expect to pay for anything extra. No freebies here.

It took the check-in agent several minutes to acknowledge my presence at the lobby and tell me that she would be with me shortly. I did not mind waiting, but for pete's sake, acknowledge the customer immediately so that he/she doesn't feel ignored. Agent also told me that I booked the reservation on Expedia (I corrected her). Once in room, overall, well-kept room except when I opened the refrigerator (former mini-fridge for cocktails and snacks). Instead, there was a former guest's leftovers which apparently sat there for a while, needless to say, not the most pleasing smell. Obviously, the housekeepers never checked every inch of the room when cleaning. Otherwise, the stay was fine and checkout was quick (by a different person who acknowledged me quickly).

Picture perfect overlooking Fountain Square downtown Cincy. All staff were extremely friendly and service oriented. Would recommend to anyone who wants to stay in downtown Cincinnati.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Great location -directly on Fountain Square and close to Newport. Across the street from Carew Tower with observation deck. Carriage ride outside the front door. Cheap parking directly under the hotel with elevator that leads almost directly to the hotel lobby. Great stay. I would recommend this location and will stay again when in Cincinnati.

Very nice hotel, as you would expect a Westin to be. The room was HUGE and very comfortable. The view was terrible (alley and what looked to be an abandoned building). ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING except street parking or very expensive valet parking.

I was satisfied with my Hotel selection however a little disappointed with the film on the mirror and plumbing fixtures in the room. A 5-star hotel, I should be able to seemyself on any chrome fixture or mirror. I did not like the fact the Hotel parking was a public lot which was full after our even therefore we had to find somewhere to park. Spaces should be reserved for all Hotel guests. Otherwise it was great!!!

I usually love the Westin and it has a great reputation. But, this one was NOT a great experience. We had to switch rooms since the carpet in our first room was soaking wet. When I called the front desk they were surprised and began to tell me there was nothing she could do because they were sold out. Nothing she could do? Maybe you didn't hear me, "The carpet in our room is SOAKING WET!!" After a few minutes she recanted and we switched rooms. That rooms was great with a better view. But also know that the snack bar/c-store closes very early (6pm). There is a lobby bar but it's more of a cart than full fledged bar. Finally, we self parked on the last night because the half-hearted valet told us it was only $3/night. Upon check out the self-service pay machine charged me $16. When I inquired at the desk she told me that the $3 rate was only for Fri & Sat and since it was Sun it was a different rate. Parking FAIL. This hotel seemed to be a bit older and just was NOT the Westin experience we expected.

our room was very nice with a great view, but the elevators took FOREVER, which shouldn't be so being its size. Also, the hotel hallway leading to the room was very humid and musky... being very nit-picky, because everything else was great.

a little pricey for a view of a smokestack and alleyway.

This is not a hotel we would ever go back to. The bathtub had soap scum in it the water pressure in the bath and sink was low,. The people in the room next two us and down the hall screamed and slammed doors until two in the morning, it was like a frat house on our floor. We called the front desk and complained and they said they would send someone up, but still at 2 ;30 in the morning doors were still being slammed by other guest.

We only got to stay one night but we will definitely stay there again. This hotel is clean and smells GREAT! The staff is very helpful. Being downtown is really convenient.

Spacious, comfy room. Lovely bathroom. Little cafe and a fedex store right in the lobby--very convenient for business. Valet was efficient and kind. The front desk/care line are a little blasé, but I didn't really need anything complicated, so that wasn't a problem. I didn't get a riverview room and the view was still just lovely.

The rooms were nice and clean. The problem was parking. When we arrived, we were on a tight schedule, and valet was the plan. We discovered that the valet AND parking garage were filled. After driving around downtown aimlessly, I finally settled on a parking meter a few blocks from the hotel. When checking in, I obviously inquired about parking, and asked why a hotel like the Westin wouldn't have ample parking for their guests. The woman at the counter told me that they rent the garage, and couldn't guarantee parking for their guests. The rude demeanor she displayed was not a good start to our hotel stay. I ended up having to park in a garage nearly a mile from the hotel. Not good. I would not want to risk this happening again. Yes, the hotel was nice and all that, but the convenience side of it was truly awful, not to mention the snooty 21 year old girl at the counter.
