The Westin Peachtree Plaza - أطلانطا

The view was spectacular! The room was a bit outdated, but they are going through rennovations at the moment and they did offer us a room with rennovations, however we decided on the view. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was wonderful. Did not like various charges for things such as wifi, etc. Easy to get around anywhere in the city from where we were.

They had a serious problem with room availability. I wasn't able to get into my room until after midnight.

Overall the hotel was very nice. The staff were excellent, and the view from the 44th floor was amazing. The room decor was a little dated and could use some touches to be in line with newer hotels (i.e. flat panel television, iPhone/iPod alarm clock). The only real complaint was the "mysterious/disturbing" stains on the crushed velvet loveseat in the room. This may have been a much bigger issue if I had been staying longer than one night.

We loved the views, both from the room and the bar on the 71st floor. Lying in bid next to the window, you feel like you are suspended over the city. Beds and linens were very comfortable. We were in town on vacation and liked the location - convenient to Centennial Park, World of Coke, the Aquarium, and CNN - very close to the MARTA for getting up to Midtown too.

We stayed on the 54th floor after being moved from the 22nd floor because of construction. The move was easy and the staff was very accommodating. Our new room had a fabulous view of Stome Mtn and Peachtree St. Everything made for a fabulous anniversary stay. Thanks Westin!!

I am thrilled rennovations are finally under way. No better hotel to stay if you are on business with America's Mart.

I checked in at 7pm and was lucky enough to get a room - others checking in still had to wait for people to check out and the room to be cleaned (something to do with the hotel policy to allow some guests to check out at any time). The hotel was in very poor condition in terms of decor. And to top it off, they were renovating close to me so there was the persistent sound of the drill. There was no coffee in the room, the only benefit was the Starbucks in the premises that opens at 6am. Overall very disappointed.

I've stayed at probably around 10 different Westin hotels and this one is by far the worst. Aside from the construction noises that started in my room at around 9am (the hotel is undergoing a renovation, I was on a renovated floor), let me see what else was wrong: 1.) I specifically ordered a king bed, instead was given 2 beds. 2.) The toilet paper roll was maybe half used (call me a snob, but i expect better from a westin). 3.) The room decoration and furnishing just felt cheap. I know Westin isn't the nicest hotel in the world, but if you were to compare this one to Westin SF (3rd st), well, there's really no comparison. Overall disappointing. I checked out after one night and moved to the W Hotel - which was great.

We didn't get the room we reserved - we got 2 full size beds instead of a king. With the thermostat set at 65, it was like a steam room. After it was supposedly serviced, there was then no heat at all. The noise was incessant, the carpets were dirty throughout the floor we were on. The television was vintage 1989. The valet staff were either intentionally rude or so completely untrained in courtesy and manners that we felt insulted each time we retrieved or turned in the car.

I was disappointed in this hotel. The room was fine in size but the beds were not properly fitted with sheets and the toilet was cracked leaking water on the floor. The pool was not heated and the water tasted this salt. Other than that the room was good. Location was great and we had a great view of Atlanta from the room on the 65th floor. The restaurant was not kid friendly and we could not eat there because they required shoes, no sneakers. For such a high price/ritzy hotel you think they would cater to all those who stay there.

The view was best of all to me. Not to mention the plush beds that sleep great. Watched the Super Bowl at the Lounge, and the food was wonderful also the Hospitality. I will definitly be back

You'll need to watch your credit card though for unauthorized charges. Although the room nights were prepaid, the hotel charged the credit card and I had to contact their accounting office to reverse the charges, which they did promptly. The rooms are extremely small. We were there for 6 days and our rooms were located on the 61st floor. It was not uncommon to take 20+ minutes to get up to our room waiting for elevators. If your pressed for time and you need to be in and out of your room throughout the day, this is not the hotel for you.

My fiance' and I spent our first New Years at the Westin. We really enjoyed the view and the hotel staff was very nice and helpful. My fiance' wants to get a room at the Westin every years. LOL...

I've never been to Atlanta, great location. But don't stay in a high floor, I was queezy the whole time.

Dirty room. Old socks found in a corner. Maintainence work so we could stay above the 33rd floor. Trash in mini-bar. Fridge that didn't work. Hallway was trashed. Not at all like I remember it....gone to the dogs.

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Westin Peachtree for New Year's. While the bed itself was comfortable and the view was spectacular, the room and decor were dated & worn - not at all what I'd expect from a Westin! Here are some high (aka LOW) lights: -- The first room we were given was unbearably hot with a malfunctioning HVAC system. After calling maintenance, we found that we had to go back to the lobby & wait in line again to request another room. --The purple velvet couch in the room was so stained & dirty looking that it was unusable. --We requested a key to the mini-fridge to keep some drinks cold but found not only was it not plugged in, but never did get very cold and was falling apart inside. --The fridge apparently had a hard time staying plugged in because there were so many extension cords & converters jammed into 1 plug - definitely looked like a fire hazard! Definitely not worth the money!

There was trash in the hallway when we went down for breakfast, and it was still there the next day when we checked out. It just needed to be vacumed but it never was. The room for a standard room was very large. We had a double bed and was able to put up a portable crib and still had room to move around with ease. The view was great! The bathroom tub looked like it needed to be redone. The Cafe has a breakfast buffet which was kind of expensive but it was the equivalant to a contiental breakfast at other hotels I have stayed at. Parking at the hotel was priced outrage and was a little uneasy feeling when there are signs all over stating to make sure you take all personal belongings. The staff there was very friendly though, and the location was great. We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. I would recommend this place to someone IF they can get it at a really good rate. Not completely satisfied with the rate we paid for what we got.

I didn't realize the hotel was so old but they have done a nice job with renovations. No frig or microwave in the kingbed room though. We stayed on the 64th floor which was great for the view but horrible for nausea. The supersonic elevator ride and the unnoticeable natural sway of the building had both our stomaches upset. Awesome location but be prepared to pay for parking EVERYWHERE. I would stay again but on a lower floor.

Great location

SInce the front desk clerk failed to ask for a credit card impression, I was greatly inconvenienced every time I tried to charge meals, drinks, etc., to my room. Other service was very good, especially for breakfast room service.

From the outside looking into the hotel looks like a million $$$$ hotel.......until you get into your room. The walls look like crap, 27in tube tv, walls are paper thin allowing you to hear others having normal conversations and footsteps from the hallway and upstairs. Bathroom it looks nasty and and the room is small. The view is amazing above the 50th floor but I heard many many time before others say that this hotel was amazing and worth the money. I usually stay elsewhere but tried this just this one time and never again. Marriot hotel rooms are way better and up to date than this one by far and I will not recommend ever.

When booking a room in a Westin property I never question the exceptional quality experience ahead of me. With this trip, I was extremely disappointed. The lobby and staff were wonderful but the room was so below par I couldn't believe it. The wall paper in the bedroom was coming off the wall at the seam, the TV was an old tube television, there were limited outlets to use for electronics, the bathroom was so small my husband and I couldn't stand in it at the same time, the pillows were all feather and when asked for foam, they sent up shredded foam that was as flat as the feathers. I've stayed in multiple other properties within walking distance of this hotel with superior rooms with equally gracious staff and will not be returning.

Hotel was ok. I expected more for the price and brand. The hotel was definitely outdated, no flat screens, very beige and plain. The view from 5601 was amazing, especially at sunset. Weird brownish stain below ac switch. Biggest disappointment was that the Heavenly Bed was advertised and there was not a Heavenly Bed. There was Heavenly bedding but not the bed. Restaurant at top has great view. I would eat somewhere else since its very expensive ($200 for 2 people) and have drinks at the lounge up there. Customer service was A+++++ with everyone being extremely nice and helpful. There were signs advertising an upcoming remodel so it will be a great choice upon completion.

I checked in late and was a little scared when they told me my room was on the 70th floor. The elevator was really fast, it did't even take me 2 minutes to get to our floor thought. When I open the door of the room my breath was taken away! The view was absolutely a-ma-zing! (Floor to ceiling windows) Once I turned on the lights I was a little disappointed with the size of the room, the walking space and the old style t.v (not a flat screen). The room and beds were very clean and the service at the front desk and room service was very nice. The location near restaurants and bars was also a plus. Overall I liked the hotel, but don't know if I'll return. Is one of those things you can say you did it once but wouldn't do it again for safety issues and room space.

Nice for a night, but not longer. I was very impressed with the accommodation of the hotel with having my pet stay with us. For only $25 they gave us a doggie bed, bowls and some waste bags. It was not very sound proof so whatever my dog heard he woke us up. The staff was very friendly and the price wasn't bad. The carpets were dirty and that makes you feel icky when staying in an unfamiliar place. Also there wasn't much grass in the surrounding areas to walk my pet. Frustrating!

...its a unique place to stay. they did a great job with service and cleanliness. We stayed on the 586th floor and the view is amazing. Ive stayed here many times over the years, and it's better than ever. I would have given it straight 5s if the bed and pillows were of better quality.

LET ME START OUT BY SAYING WOW!!!!!!!!!!! THIS HOTEL WAS NOT ONLY GORGEOUS BUT THE ROOMS WERE AWESOME AND THE BEDS SOOOO COMFY. LOCATED RIGHT IN FRONT OF HARD ROCK AND JUST SECONDS FROM THE PARK, ALL SPORTS EVENTS, GEORGIA AQUARIUM, WE WALKED TO EVERYTHING!! I WOULD RECCOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANY AND EVERYONE AND I WILL MOST DEFINATELY BE BACK!! THANKS SO MUCH!

The only reason to stay here is for the location.

I have stayed in this hotel several times and will many more! Excellent location, excellent food, friendly staff and amazing view!

I spent 3 nights here for a trade show at the Georgia World Center. The center was 10 minute walk from the hotel and subway was less than a block away. Service was great. The concierge had good advice about local gay businesses and transportation. Everyone was so helpful. The revolving restaurant and bar was resonably priced and offered an amazing view. The mini bar is stocked to your preference with sodas for only a dollar and imported beer for $3. The bed was very comfortable and I would absolutely stay here again if I was in Atlanta.

We booked this hotel to attend a falcons game over the weekend. The hotel was really nice , but could use some renovations. Also we had an unexpected incident where one in our group had to use a wheelchair for a couple of days, sadly the westin had next to none handicap accesible areas.

Great views (tallest hotel in Western hemisphere etc), but hotel relies on this plus plenty of business/corporate customers. Revolving restaurant (Sundial) at top - also great views, average and expensive food.

I posted the following to yelp before i checked out: I cannot figure out how to give this hotel a half a star for my rating so i have to choose one star! The worst hotel experience I have had as in this class of hotel. For starters this is the smallest room I have been in since an economy hotel! AC dosent work well. Leaky faucet in tiny bathroom. No fan in bathroom. Very cheap furniture that is scratched! Rust on the desk lamp. No mini fridge. No microwave. Ice maker on my floor was broken, had to call room service to get ice. Wanted to charge $20 for a pizza, with 30% additional gratuity and fees added, and the pizza wouldn't be served until after 11pm! Went with a local pizza company. The tv is an out of date crt, probably 1999? A moldy shower, a dirty couch, stained carpet, and finally, long black hairs under the spreads after turning it back for the first time! Im done! I dont know what the official rating is for this hotel, but whatever it is it is too high! All this for tripple what i have paid for larger rooms at Hilton and Marriott. If you are a seasoned traveller, the fantastic view does not make up for below lackluster service. If you are used to sub par hotels, or dont mind them, then the view is what you need. Letter to corporate to follow this review.

Thanks for a great stay and making me feel welcome. I had to stay an extra night and the staff was very accommodating. Even the IT staff in helping me set up my wifi connection was very nice and thoughtful. Special thanks to Jamel and Erica at the front desk for helping me with my reservations and check out time. When I come back I will stay at the Westin Peachtree.
