We had a great stay, staff wonderful, room great, swimming pool brilliant.

This is the best hotel i have ever stayed in - really recomend it........

The hotel is a little pricey, especially as I arrived a day early and had to pay standard for another room, And the service is great although they seem to really over charge here. I recommend just simply walking to the street edge and catching a cab, its alot cheaper, the hotel cabs are rip offs. Also Traders is across the way and much cheaper and just as nice.. however the rooms were very nice and i enjoyed haveing the balcony and pool area.

I found the experience at the Sofitel to be very low on the VFM scale. staff attempt to upsell at every opportunity rooms, b/fast, buffet no doubt encouraged by the monthly up sellers award scheme as evidenced by the Upsellers Board just visible from behind reception in one of the offices. The breakfast/dinner buffets were very expensive for a mostly average western buffet. Would have been much better if a there was a larger focus on local cuisine. Service was a military operation with staff primed to say "Bonjour" at every turn and run around like busy bees. Too busy in fact to be attentive to their customers but once you got there attention service was ok. A lesson learnt is to ask more than 3 members of staff a question and ensure the the answers are the same before acting upon it... staff are too willing to say yes (and sometimes no) without understanding the question...... Food delivered to anywhere about from the main dinning area tended to be look warm at best. The hotel is isolated but a short cab ride from the Mall of asia (70 pesos street cab/ 300 pesos hotel ride/ free hotel transfer() and other parts of town. Rooms clean, service insincere and sometimes poor, staff knowledge of events in hotel poor and in the city, up selling too obvious, food average and poor VFM. I would have felt better being robbed in the city as at least I would not have paid for the privilege. I would try another hotel elsewhere on my next visit.

The food on Sofitel hotell is not good. The price fore the room is very high. A good hotell in Manila is Century Park Hotell.

Sofiel Plaza Manila is one of the most comfortable hotels I have visited over the last few years. I have stayed there twice. Location is seaside outside the very chaotic down town or Manila center 15 - 20 minutes by taxi and convenieent for the Airport 20 minutes.. Wonderful jogging facilities and fresh air and quiet surrounding, and beautiful large garden with swimmin pool facing ocean. The fabulous Mall of Asia is 10 min by taxi away. . Front desk very updated and cooperative. Efficient gym and spa section (not luxorious) with competent staff. Food and gastronom is perfect. however some time you have to wait to be seated. Clubsection rooms cost extra but service and service desk is value for money if you are busy. Disadvantage for some guests is probably that you need taxi whereever you go and there are not really any appropriate restaurants close. You pay relatively expensive for breakfast in the hotel. Taxi are in European standard relative cheap. You have thre catogories. The "black taxi" hotel car most expensive. You have the "White taxi" also belonging to the hotel charging half of the "black". And then you have the normal meter taxi "not safe". When you book you should asked to be picked up by "blakc taxi" in the airport. For normal transportation in the ciity "White taxi" is recommendable. Relatively affordable hour rate for meetings and shopping. The meter taxi you should avoid although it is cheap. Always put down the number of the meter taxi and leave it with the dispatcher. Hotel security seems excellent. European tourism professor.

The pool is great, the kids enjoyed their stay only comment is the breakfast buffet, far different as when we stayed before, hope they can fix the spirals asap

Lovrly pool, friendly service. Very easy to access from airport. Breakfast really expensive if don't have it included and ask for meter taxi at concierge otherwise they give you hotel taxi which is twice the price Would definitely stay again

Hotel is very nice. Staff is extremely helpful and polite. Food is excellent though quite expensive. There are a few too many employees in places where they can be irritating, like elevator attendants and in the bathroom bathroom attendants. Sometimes you want to be left alone.

not so happy with the hotel stay.. I stayed three days at the hotel.lobby security is too much! there was someone positioned watching us in every five meters away.. It feels like I was a terrorist being monitored.. I was talking with my guests looking at their swimming pool by the lobby then all of the sudden one of the hotel personnel invaded our personal space, I have asked her what was the matter, no response was given,: I was in my room on my first night of stay, approximately between 8:00 - 8:30 PM I was asleep, a hotel personnel knocked my door just to ask me if I needed to replace my bed sheets and towels,huh! I was trying to catch some sleep people!; the blinds in the bathroom was malfunctioning. the blinds doesn't go all the way down to cover the window, that means you can see the person who might be using the toilet bowl, huh! what a sight! sorry, but not a place that I can be proud of.. can't recommend. :((

I have stayed in this hotel many times both for business & pleasure. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the level of service is excellent. Although not in down town Makati like other 5 star hotels, the Sofitel is only 15 mins from the airport and 15 mins from Mall of Asia. Unless you have a need to be down town this hotel has an excellent location as at avoids the famous Manila traffic. The hotel also has a great pool, spa and a number of restaurants & bars...I will certainly stay there again

I give this hotel a 5 star but the location was not to my preference. I hate being in a hotel where you need to drive or take a taxi to be able to get to locations such as a restaurant, malls, stores, etc... I like to be able to get out of the hotel ans walk to a store without the hassle of taking a taxi.

Had an enjoyable time while staying here. Hotel exemplifies luxury and ambience for details. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous from dining in the restaurants to room comforts. Hotel provides a shuttle service to the "SM Asia" mall which is a must see and the security at this location was top-notch. Took advantage of the massage treatments and fitness facilities that were welcoming amenities. I would definitely use this hotel again in my visits to Manila.

Located right in the center of Manila with great proximity to tourist spots such as the historical Intramuros, excellent restaurants for fine dining and a spectacular view of Manila Bay's world-renowned sunset, this is definitely the best hotel in town. The interior design of the hotel is simply magnificent and everywhere a soothing and relaxing aromatic scent permeates the air. The outside is just as spectacular with a beautifully landscaped pool enjoyable for both the young and the old. And the food...ah yes...simply divine and so much to choose from! 2 thumbs up for this happy and satisfied guest!

Had a fabulous, romantic stay at this hotel. The breakfast and dinner buffet was phenomenal an should not be missed! The hotel grounds with the swimming pool and garden facing Manila Bay reminded me of my stay at a resort in Hawaii with the luau ambience. My husband and I intend to stay here again. It was a separate vacation experience alone in just staying in this hotel.

It went great. We got to the hotel at about 7:30 am and everyone was very nice. The workers had smiles and patience as we were checking in. Throughout the stay they were kind and always had great attitudes. The buffet was amazing so my hat goes off to the chefs. The swimming pool was great and the courtyard was wonderful. We stayed there for new year's and it was awesome. They went all out in the decor and in the spirit of new year. Overall it was great. Nothing to complain about.

They gave us the worst room possible overlooking roof top air conditioning at the lowest height possible...room carpet worn out...taxi back to airport 2 to 3 times expensive than taxi (rip off)

We checked-in there to celebrate the first hours of my birthday and we didn't regret it! It was an amazing experience and I will bring my family there too soon. I so love the pool and the staff. Thank you so much for making my birthday a blast!

Every single person on the Sofitel staff was warm and friendly and they treated my fiance and I like royalty our entire stay. The facilities were extremely clean and well conditioned and we always had something enjoyable to do at the hotel. The room they gave us for our engagement was an upgrade from our original booking and they decorated our bed with rose petals the night of our engagement along with a bottle of complimentary champagne. The bed was so comfortable and the view from our balcony looking over the Bay and the Hotel Pool was Magnificient and Romantic. The General Manager and another manager from the hotel took time out of their busy schedule to sit down and talk with us for 20 minutes to chat about our first time stay with them and how the planned engagement went on their property. We were blown away by the excellent customer service during our entire stay and the General Manager and his staff ensured that we had an unforgettable experience during our Special Engagement. The staff at Sofitel truly showed they care about guest satisfaction and it was backed up by their actions towards us our entire stay! I would highly recommend this First Class Hotel with excellent food, service, and facilities to anyone and everyone! It was probably one of the nicest all-around experiences I have ever had at a hotel. Oh, and the security of the hotel was also excellent along with the room service. We felt SPOILED!!!

Everything I expected. I rented two rooms for one night. The staff was helpful although the room keys did not work the first time so I had to go get new ones keyed up. Not a big deal. The restruant has a buffet that was 2,300 pesos per person. About 40 plus US Dollars a person. A little high for me so we went out to a Thai restruant which was 40 dollars for all four in my party. The Bar and Slot machines were a nice touch and we enjoyed the night having drinks in the lounge. Parking lot is down the street. You can have valet parking if you wish. Room was clean, shower was very good and the internet worked great and was $20 for 24 hours. Location is close to airport and US Embassy. The swimming pool was outstanding! Great for the kids with water slides. I will be back next time I am in Manila.

This is a fantastic hotel to stay at, great rooms over looking the sea. Nice lagoon pool and resort like feeling and a fantastic buffet breakfast(one of the biggest range I've ever seen).

I am very impressed with the attention to detail, service level and overall hotel condition. My stays have always been fantastic. I have tried a few hotels in the area and prefer Sofitel to all.

館内＆客室は清潔でお洒落な雰囲気でアメニティはロクシタンで統一してあり充実してます。全室バルコニー付のリゾートホテル感覚ですね。ただ、立地的にはマニラ湾に面した陸の孤島（近隣にコンビニも何も無い）ですので外出の際はタクシー利用が必須です。夜遊び目的の方には不便だと思いますが、食事等は館内に複数のレストランがあり料金は全体的に高めですけど（日本国内の高級店より高い）金銭的負担を気にしないで、のんびり過ごしたい方には最高だと思います。また、フロント周辺に美人揃いのスタッフが多数いて笑顔で挨拶してくれ気持ち良く滞在出来ました。

이번에 이용한 룸 상태는 쬐끔불량? 한상태였어요 샤워꼭지도 고장나고 먼지도 좀 쌓여있고... 그리고 조식부페도 많이 바뀌었더라구요 . 음식 가지수도 줄고 한국사람이 즐겨먹을 만한것은 많이 없었지만 그래도 수영장에 만족!! 아이들이 잘 놀고 좋아했어요

部屋も大きく、清潔、価格がリーズナブルであれば是非、次回以降も利用したい。

ホテルに着くと、中にＰＨの民族衣装をアレンジした奇麗なドレスを着た美人が２人並んで迎えてくれました。（感動）　 敷地に入る車はチェックがある為、メータータクシーは入ってこないので、ホテル専用タクシーを使うことになりＰＨにしては割高ですが、前払いで領収書をくれるので丸。 ホテルのまわりには歩いていけるところには何もないけど、逆に治安は安全かも。 ロビーの下の階にソファーなどが並ぶ優雅なスペースがありましたが、いつもロープを張って中に係りの人が立ち、立ち入り禁止にしていたのが気になりました。　何故 ？　 とにかく、プールガーデンでのんびりするのは最高でした。

Very noisy they do renovation on the top of our room and start to drill at 8 am !

今回飛行機の故障につきホテルの予約日に泊まる事が出来なくて当日夜半にホテルえの連絡予約変更を申し入れました。すぐに変更手続きをしてもらう事が出来対応がよくとてもうれしかったです。 次回も泊まりたいホテルです。

20年前から利用させて貰っています。いつも変わりなく過ごさせていただいています。最近は、日本人の方も結構宿泊しているみたいですよ。朝食は、メニュー豊富で気に入っています。今回もスイートルームが空いていたので安く利用できました。チェックアウト時にまた次もこの部屋を空けておきますと、お世辞にも心憎い事言ってくれました。私が思うには、何も問題ありません。

Ausgezeichnetes Essen aber sehr teuer. Zimmer eher 4 Sterne als 5 Sterne. Check-in viel zu langsam. Internet muss separat bezahlt werden zu sehr hohen Preisen. Taxis dauern eine Ewigkeit. Hoteleigene Taxis berechnen einem 5 Mal so viel wie normales Taxi. das billigste ist der Preis fuer das Zimmer. Einmal im Hotel wird alles zu viel zu teuren Preisen berechnet ( Fruehstueck, Essen, Bueffet, Taxi, Massage ).
