Hotel Allegro, a Kimpton Hotel - شيكاغو

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Allegro hotel. I stayed there recently while attending a conference for work and could not be more pleased. The service was great, hotel was beautiful and chic, my room was spacious, clean and had a great view. The hotel is also close to great shopping on State street and Millennium park. For those willing to walk, it's also relatively close to Michigan avenue. I would definitely stay here again when I visited Chicago and would recommend it to friends and family.

Had a very nice stay - wine reception was very nice.

It was a great stay. We've been to the Allegro before and went back because of the location, the friendly staff, the nice decor & cleanliness, and the 5-6 p.m. wine service! I was sorry they'd discontinued Aveda bath products in the rooms, but the Bigelow products were okay. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and the 312 restaurant. Plus, any hotel that welcomes dogs gets bonus points from me

Great location, conveniency of hopping on the train at O'Hare, 20 mints later at the station half a block walk to the hotel. Great food around, theaters, river and 4 blocks to millennium park. Can't wait to return.

Location was ideal for business in the Chicago loop.

Wine reception, AM coffee, free wireless, yoga mat loan. And a great location! This is a cute hotel with adorable rooms and a lot of nice little extras. The one downside was that housekeeping did not come during the six hours I was out of my room, but for a two night stay it wasn't a big deal. Makes me want to try out other hotels in this chain. Nice!

Anyone who appreciate style will feel at home in this hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms look immaculate. Fairly small, but very nice. Breakfast arrangements were slightly confusing, and we ended up paying for breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and learned afterwards that it would have been included if we went to a different breakfast room. Still, highly recommended.

Can't beat the location of the Hotel Allegro for theater, shopping, and dining in downtown Chicago. Price is so reasonable. The complimentary wine reception was a very nice touch--plenty of places to lounge in the reception area while enjoying a glass of wine. We will stay there again!

Traveled to Chicago all the time, and never stayed at a hotel with a beautiful, stylish King Deluxe Suite. I appreciate the space of the room, jet-tub, and ever so soft bed that I wanted to take home. I forgot to look at the mattress because I want one. The view was great and I love the fact that they have happy hour daily with free wine and beer. You must use Valet when staying there otherwise you will regret it. The staff was great and I will be staying there again.

Great Location, Clean Room, Friendly Staff, only downfall was the room and bathroom were small.

Great! Modern (lots of patterns and bold colors). Friendly. Comfortable. Just right! Not a huge room but fine for my needs. Parking was a little pricy but its downtown and that's comparable to other rates. If you book, jOin kimpton in touch rewards. It's free and gets you free wifi and free minibar. Great! Im not getting ridiculous spam either !

Excellent improvement from the Bismark. Very friendly staff.

We enjoyed our stay as the staff was extremely accommodating, the rate was fair and the fun kid's gifts were a treat. Very convenient to the theater district, a short walk to shopping and a 20 minute walk to Millenium Park and ice skating. Parking as usual in the downtown area is a rip-off, so if you can train it, cab it or bus it, you can save $$$.

Loved the convenience and accessability to all main attractions,theaters,shopping and great restaurants. We really enjoyed the restaurant in the hotel and were able to walk to several in the immediate vaccinity. Would not hesitate to revisit this hotel.

The hotel was beautiful, but I was disappointed in the size. Very small and it didn't look that way in the photos.

We have family in Chicago who all live in the city. Therefore, the Allegro hotel is very convenient. Furthermore, we love the hotel. It is always our first choice!

Super fun and elegant place to stay... Short cab ride (in the winter) and nice walks (in the summer) to great city attractions. Will stay again...

The Hotel Allegro is one of my very favorites in Chicago!! It is so conveniently located to the theatres, to shopping, and to the German Christmas Market which I attend every year. The staff is friendly and helpful! The Happy Hour which they have every day at 5 pm is a great treat!! When traveling to Chicago, it will always be my first choice!!

One of the best Hotels in the district

If you like the funky hotel experience, you'll love the Hotel Allegro. Great wine hour, wonderful location and very helpful and warm staff. Who knew we'd need an umbrella in December--but the Allegro staff to the rescue. It's not a super posh room, but the experience itself is so warm and welcoming!

We stayed at the Allegro because it is in the theater district and was a great price. Overall, I'd say it was an excellent hotel for the price. The decor was fresh, clean, and interesting. The rooms are small but exceptionally clean. It's an easy walk to theaters and shopping. The dining options near the hotel are limited to high end fare and lunch/fast food, which was somewhat disappointing. The wine reception offered by the hotel every evening was pleasant (and they have a local beer on offer if you don't like wine), though the wine was not very good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

This hotel is located next to the loop , easy access to the airport taking the blue line and no need to exchange trains. We walked everywhere from here and the hotel has great decor plus a nice wine happy hour everyday for free.

Excellent stay at this Kempton. Loved the location. Note: Being from another city I was slightly disappointed as to getting help for methods for getting from hotel to restaurant to United Center.

This hotel is ancient but decorated in a rather trendy style. Room was comfortable and it was a nice luxury that the tub of the shower was much bigger than ours at home. It was a little irritating to find out belatedly that there is local overnight parking for 1/4 as much as what the hotel charges, but we appreciated the in and out privileges of the hotel parking.
