fortunately for us they were sold and we were upgraded to the club level, so I can not complain about the room or hotel. Very busy and entertaining.

We booked the hotel for a birthday night for our 8 year old to have a sleep over and swim with her best friend. We loved the hotel, it was beautiful and very clean. We very much enjoyed our stay and plan to keep as our go-to hotel for quick little getaways with our little one.

We visited Jersey City so this hotel was a comfortable and affordable solution 30 mins. from our destination. The journey through Newark and it's industrial environs is a must for all you crime drama fans. I suspect the hotel is very new and therefore very clean. There is still some building work going on but the pool etc. was great for the kids. Also great, affordable food options within driving distance. As a Sheraton, just watch out for the bottled water; which comes with a $4.00 price tag! $20.00 buffet breakfast....Alternative breakfast options nearby.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Sharaton , and look forward to visiting again.The front desk staff from checking in to check out were great.Room was very clean and very comfortable . WE have decided to make this our Hotel on our visits to N Y. Thank the management & staff.

Went here to stay near nyc so that I can drive up in the morning. Affordable and high quality. Had a problem with the number of beds I had asked for and they fixed it right away

This hotel is great, looks good, smells good and is very clean. My wife and i loved it so much, our bed room is going to look very close to this room in the near future..

Enjoyed the Hotel which was kid friendly. The day I stayed the Hotel had a Kids day. Which included a lot of fun stuff for the kids. The swimming pool was good and clean. Fun fun fun!!

Hotel is under construction and no floors available with king sized bed-only 2 doubles. Also the beds were very hard - I need a softer mattress. Wonderful property that allows small dogs which is great for me. Just wish Sheraton chain had softer mattresses or sleep number beds.

I chose the Sheraton castle because Im big on reviews before staying in hotel's location and upon reading the reviews of the Sheraton, I was very impressed!!! Thank God they werent disappointing upon arrival!!! We arrived later than expected, but the manager was very accommodating to all of our needs, our stay was extended beyond check-out, he directed us to where restaurants where in the area & JUST REALLLLLY made our Christmas anniversary stay a veryyyyyyyy beautiful weekend!!!! I certainly would definitely return!!!!!!

Overall a great hotel; Restaurant a little pricey, but bar is very good; Gym is brand new and excellent for a complete workout; Highly recommended hotel overall.

Even though its far from NYC its worth the drive. I will definitely book again in the future.

I stayed for 4 nights and used the go green card for 2 of those nights. The maid service never came to clean my room the entire time of my stay. I had to ask that the garbage be removed and nobody came.

My wife and I went here on our first anniversary recently. Though undergoing renovations all the amenities are working and the gym/pool area is beautiful. the steamrooms and sauna are great. Our favorite is the hot tub and cold tub. We Loved being able to swim in the indoor pool when its freezing cold outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful. and there is a great Genuine New Jersey Diner just around the corner. The Empire Diner on rt 46 E. Loved the castle look of the hotel. The pond with walking/jogging trail around it behind the hotel is fabulous.

Great. Need I say more.

The hotel is not family friendly. Caters to mainly adults.

My wife and I decided to stay here for a getaway night. OMG the service was horrible!! Sean at the front desk was extremely rude and condescending to both of us to the point that we were going to leave and let them keep the money for the room. After listing to him tell us we didn’t know what we were talking about he finally gave us a room that we requested. Little did we know that you were allowed to bring German Sheppard’s to stay in the hotel!! Across the hall was a large Sheppard barking.. We asked for a room change but they had no rooms left? Come on.. The room temp was 75 degrees and the AC didn’t work. The glass in the windows are cracked and the bed was like sleeping on a rock. Room 438. Sean should not work in the service industry if he going to be condescending. He realized how was acting after the fact but the damage was already done. Stay at your own risk.

First we were struck by how rude the front desk people were. They seemed aggravated that we had gone through a hotel site and kept referring to it as "Expedia or whatever you used". I got the feeling we weren't welcome. The pictures of the hotel are better than the hotel itself. It's a bit rundown and drab while most of it is apparently under renovation. They do not have all the amenities they promised- for example video game hook-ups without the consoles. In all it was an okay place to lay your head, buy if that was what I wanted I could have stayed anywhere else- the experience is not worth repeating. I will use hotels.com again because they were great and they don't control the hotels- just supply awesome prices for them. They consistently had the best rates on the different days I looked.

I booked this hotel room after both the power and back-up generator failed during the recent October snowstorm that hit NJ. Considering the chaos around, the hotel was well organized and clean, the staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel itself is nice, though the rooms are a bit dated and starting to show their age. I do understand a renovation project is planned, and I would still highly reccomend this hotel for people looking for a well-priced, comfortable location in this area.

The hotel from the outside looks great. The room we had was decent, nothing spectacular but the rate was good. The room itself was clean but initially there was no heat and the television was not working. The staff did respond and fix the issues. The most disappointing aspect was the dining experience in the pub. The hotel was packed as there was a major storm with power outages and many area residents were staying there. There was only one server in the pub. You would expect that a hotel of this supposed quality would have anticipated the needs of the clients. Even if there was not a disaster going on, you would expect them to have adequate staffing. Overall it was ok and good for the rates

Hotel was clean, spacious, and had a great fragrance that greeted you at the entrance. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel and the food was fine. The room had a heater that was very noisy. That was my only complaint. Initially our tv was not working. I called the print desk and a technician came immediately and fixed it. I would stay again and recommend it.

Our room had a nasty, funky smell, which got worse each day.

The only good thing of the hotel was the gym and the outside look. The staff was extremely rude, unproffesional and inexperienced. I can see this hotel for a romantic getaway out in the woods but with the kind of treatment you get from the staff, is out of the question.

They hotel room was great . It was nice, quiet, and very comfortable . I was able to get alot of work done and get a great night sleep in the awesome bed.

The say in Hotel was very good.

Staff was extremely helpful and courteous; nice walking path around the lake; excellent fitness center. Great amentities and location.

Overall the hotel was nice, but I had ants in my room which grossed me out, even though they moved my room I still felt uncomfortable. I kept my bags in my car, so I wouldn't carry ants home.

Me and my boys loved the hotel. if you are staying there to go to NYC I suggest the NJ Transit train. it cost more than parking at a path station but it's right up the street from the hotel. the train takes a little over an hour to get there. the hotel staff have a list of times for you so you can plan which one to take. The area around the hotel seemed ok, we didn't wander too much because they have this no left turn u turn thing that is a pain. But it looked like a lot was around. They have a breakfast buffet til noon and it was good but very expensive. We only did that once. But overall the hotel was very clean everyone seemed nice and helpful. I would reccommend this hotel it was awesome. it looks just like the picture.

Food was under par and breakfast buffet very expensive for what they served. It seems like they cater to a weekday crowd. Convention space was very good.

the hotel was very nice, has a nice pool outside and inside hottub inside workou room.

The Room maintenance in this hotel is very "poor"; e.g. at 15.00 o'clock our room was not yet done. So I requested the responsible person in the reception department to arrange it. He did it but...he explained that till 18.00 hour they are "allowed' to clean the room. (An impressive explanation). In the corridor to our room was during our stay for 5 days a piece of paper on the floor. Our room was NOT vacuum cleaned during our stay. Nearly daily something was missing from the items the hotel is supposed to supply, soap or a towel, coffee or tea. After a call to the reception everything was fast solved. I think that a "kind" of COMPENSATION is due to me

Hotel was nice and had clean comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly. Parking isn't the greatest but works. The restaurant had a limited selection of very over priced foods

This hotel was located in the suburbs, so a car was needed to get around. The area is very nice and the hotel was a wonderful place to stay while in New Jersey.

To our satisfaction we had an exstra bed in our room - but it smelled like it had been stored in an area where there had been smokers or a bondfire. That was not okay. But apart from that our stay was okay.

i booked for 2 double bed and they gave me one single king bed .very poor uality and mantence i will not recomend this hotel to any one . please dont waste ur money on this crap hotel ther is no microv=ave and no refrigerator in room also please dont book thos hotel book something else
