The location of the hotel was perfect for us however the price we paid for parking was over the top and would put us off going there again unfortunately.

BEAUTIFUL ROOMS, beautiful decorated - felt like we were staying in the Hamptons. I had stayed at the hotel years before, but this blew me away. So fancy, so posh! Definitely would recommend this hotel :)

Rooms are very old and need a serious makeover.

Service was excellent, location is excellent, however the rooms need a facelift. They are dated, and although the service is fantastic, the quality of the rooms lacks somewhat from what I would expect from the Pan Pacific group.

Hotel needs renovation. Hall carpets dirty, plumbing noisy, rooms have thin walls. Staff very helpful and very friendly.

After arriving st the hotel I was told that there was actually no free parking as advertised! I had to pay $50 to have my car safety parked!!! Then in the morning I had to wait half an hour whilst a confused looking man "found" my vehicle. Not only that! No bond was mentioned before when I booked, so when I arrived it was announced that I had to give a $100 bond. Very decietful management! I would not stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were very attentive and friendly. Good facilities and clean rooms. Breakfast was expensive we had ours in the local coffee club each morning. Daily parking charge for the car was quite expensive but it's free on the street between 6pm and 8am.

Having stayed at Pan Pacific in Manila I see zero comparison. The Pan Pacific in Perth lacks the air of elegance nee 5 stardom that it's sister hotels have. Friendly knowledgeable staff, slow room service, no ambiance to the hotel. When entering my room my first smell was not that of cleaning chemicals or fresh air but that of old stale smoke. Having never smoked before I found this disgusting making my stay unpleasant. Spraying my cologne around the room for a family pleasant smell I went in for a shower and was very unhappy at the lack of attention to detail to the cleanliness of the bathroom. It's pokey, seemed dark, the main mirror needed cleaning, mildew in the cracks of the grouting, the glass shower screens were filthy with stained body fat on them and to top if off all the clean neatly folded towels smelt of old smoke. Well below the reasons and standards that I stay with Pan Pacific but equal to a flea bag hotel. My Deluxe room should be called a Dull-ux room. The Pan Pacific must seriously lift their game in order to charge the current room rates as an opulent luxurious hotel. Take a big leaf out of the Pan Pacific Manila's book as I personally believe they are faultless.

Overall we enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable but unfortunately not very sound proof. We could here all sorts of noise like voices, showers and doors opening all night. We would stay again but ask for a room without adjoing occupied rooms if possible. The gym downstairs was a big plus!

Unwelcomed at the restaurant. I had to ask for coffee after waiting for 15 minutes, and it was of poor quality and cold. Waiter just ignored us all together. There is nothing worst than having bad coffee and bad service for breakfast!

The staff were very friendly, the room service was great and better than expected. We ate at both restaraunts and both very different but very nice and great food. Will defanatly stay again and recomend to anyone. Well done Pan Pcific thanks for the great w/end.

Most of the staff were superb - except the gentleman who took my bags to my room. I had to repeat my name five times and he still dod not get it right. In the end I spoke with the woman who booked me in and she arranged them to be found and delivered to my room thirty minutes later. Luckily i was not in a hurry to get to the event I was attending. Otherwise splendid room, lovely bed and scrumptious food. Just take your own bags to your room.

Old, tired and in need of a reno. Not 5 star as advertised. Bathroom was tiny, shower was too small for 1. Smell throughout corridors. Wouldn't recommend to those looking for a five star experience.

The Pan Pacific Perth was perfect for a two day getaway from it all. Staff were courteous and professional. Food was superb. Room was immaculate. I will definately return.

concierge is very helpful but if you request anything from house keeping, it is likely that it will not come till the next day. Also fails to replenish throughly all the amenities frequently

Location & price very good. Rooms were clean. Happy with room service & front reception. Only negative comment is the pool, it's very small and needs some pot plants or something to brighten the area up. Also guests have to walk through the main foyer to get to & from the pool. I felt a bit uncomfortable walking back from the pool wrapped in a towel as guests were checking in. I would still stay again at this hotel.

Considering this is meant to be 5 star living I was disappointed and was expecting more bang for my buck. Lovely hotel however

Hopefully we caught pan pacific Perth at a bad time because the service and cleanliness of the room were not that of a five star hotel

The service was excellent, which was refreshing to scome across, especially in hotels in Perth

The Pan Pacific is ideally situated, right in the heart of the city with views over the water. It is only a block or two back from the water, and allows for an easy walk into the city, and a marvelous stroll along the water to Kings Park. The staff were excellent, friendly and professional and attentive. The room was very nice and very clean. Their taxi rank located right outside the door is also very convenient when leaving for the airport.

coutesy bus from airport and return. Staff are exceptionally helpful. bed was very comfortable.

We found the Pan Pacific to be a wonderful place for us to stay, very convienient location, great service, friendly staff, Very comfortable beds and lovely clean rooms. The only problem i have had was with the online booking that I had made not being recognized on the hotels computer system causing me to be charged 100s of dollars more than was being asked- leaving me with conflicting thoughts about making this hotel a regular place to stay in the future. The Pan Pacific Hotel in Perth is in a good location. Some biscuits with the tea and coffee facilities would have been appreciated. We were kept awake half of the night by a couple fighting in the room next room - much yelling and swearing as they abused each other - I did bang on the wall and ask them to quieten down - then at 7am it started again.

I was very happy with my stay and room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. I had to have laundry service which was great..pricey but when traveling and need clean clothing, its a good option. I found the location of the hotel to be central to most central Perth. I will only say that I thought Concierge was bit snotty and did not seem very welcoming towards me. I was able to however book a tour to Rottsnest after having to come down and speak directly with them instead of through the phone. Need to improve on the level of service. I definitely would stay at the Pan Pacific Perth again on my next visit.

The hotel and staff were lovely, and the king size bed, divine. The cleaning staff were noticeably willing to do all they could to provide good service - this is not always the case at hotels where the front line staff alone provide service. Pan Pacific is quite exceptional on that front. Access to computers was limited though - with only 1/3 in the main area working. Given the computer and internet age, the number available for "free" use should be increased, and they should be in working order.

Good Perth Hotels are few and far between. For some reason the glossy facade of Perth has not translated into the majority of hotels it has in the CBD. This hotel was a pleasant surprise - good service and a really nice bed.

My month holiday in Australia November 2010 was soured by my last four days booked into the Pan Pacific Hotel Perth (Previously Sheraton Perth). We have stayed in numerous hotels throughout Australia and had a wonderful time and decided to finish off the last part in Perth on a high note by booking into a 5* property, making sure we do not get an average experience in our final week - but all would turn to the contrary. I booked on the 24th November 2010 via Hotels.com/Expedia for 3 nights stay at what was the Perth Sheraton now Pan Pacific Hotel Perth. We booked a 'Deluxe King Suite' - to quote the website "Deluxe Rooms are located on the top five floors with superb river views ". There were about three cheaper room types below before one gets to a 'Deluxe King Suite' and at $ a night, we thought it should more than exceed our expectations. I paid in full in advance when we made the booking via Hotels.com. On arrival, we were checked-in. I noticed an authorization for the full amount for our stay was again debited to my credit card when I checked my email account later the same day - I expected a $100 a day authorization to cover extras at most. We were basically charged again with an additional $100 day. When I queried this with the receptionist 1 he stated that I have not yet paid for the room. I pointed out to him that this is in fact incorrect. Later the same the day the duty manager and another receptionist told me not to worry about the authorization, as they would cancel it. The receptionist 1 also asked my partner (even though we were standing next to each other at the reception desk) if we were together and if we requested a twin room. I pointed out to him that we booked a 'Deluxe King Suite' and it should be reflected as such in the reservation. It would seem that he had an issue with two men sharing a room. After coming off a camping trip in southern WA, I truly appreciated the comfort and cleanliness of the room. The staff was very friendly. The decor of the room is somewhat dated and a little worn looking. Overall, I was very pleased with the room.

Very pleasant hotel. Close to city centre and good restaurants. Walking distance to Barracks Quay. Could even walk to Kings Park but didn't do that in 37 degrees. Can recommend this as a good place to stay if you want a few days to explore Perth, Fremantle and Swan Valley.
