The hotel itself was great, but the food was mediocre and well overpriced. I would stay again, but eat elsewhere.

I booked this hotel for a one night stopover on the way back to the UK from a ski trip with my 4 year old son. Decision was based on percieved quality of Sheraton brand and the facilities, namely the waterslides. Check in was fairly smooth but I noticed another guest complaining about a lack of water when we arrived. We changed and went straight to the pool area where I discovered that it was overrun by unsupervised teenagers. The one hotel employee in evidence was trying but failing to maintain control. Perhaps some enforcement of rules would improve the experience for the majority of paying guests. It appears that by going for easy money by renting to visiting youth hockey teams this property is lowering the standard expected of the typical Sheraton guest. The washroon facility in the men's changing area was overflowing with urine in an area where you cannot wear shoes. Not what I want to expose my child to. We left in rather short order as I felt the environment was dangerous for my son. He was hit with a ball thrown by one of the 30 or so teenagers in the pool area and I noticed several of them spitting from the top of the slides and throwing rocks from the deck area into the flumes themselves. Couple that with the filthy flooors and I'd had enough. We retreated to our room on the third floor where the exhaust fans from the restaurant downstairs made opening the windows impossible. People running up and down and having loud conversations in the hall until late in the evening meant the experience was quite upsetting. As an added bonus, my son and I both wound up with a skin irritation from the water in the pool which is still with us 5 days later. Not the best experience to say the least and one that will prevent me from booking with Sheraton in future. Disappointed.

This is a typical Sheraton Hotel but in a strange location of satellite businesses for Calgary Airport. Attracts lots of young people due to proximity to hockey tournament facilities.

Had business around the airport and the Sheraton was in a perfect spot for me to get around.

Not only was the Sheraton cavalier hotel cozy, clean and comfy the pool and water slides were amazing . the staff was also very helpful and nice.

service service service..... what can i say, we asked for a cot to be in the room before we checked in. it wasn't there, so i called the front desk 3 times before it finally came to our room, from the first phone call about the cot to the time it came to our room was 3.5 hours. But at 4 am the front desk was able to give me directions to the nearest place with a pharmacy that would be open. i was impressed with that. all other aspects of the stay were as normal as any other stay in any other 4 plus star hotel i had ever stayed in.

Nothing negative to report. For Calgary terms it's a very good price-quality deal. Big rooms, quiet, lots of parking space, ...Friendly service.

I travel to Calgary every month and the Sheraton Cavalier is very near my office. Unfortunately, the place is always booked solid so I haven't been able to stay there until recently. I had a nice room, good service. Only concern I had was on my bill, when I checked out, there was a restaurant charge on my invoice which was not mine. The clerk told me that they would remove it, and do an investigation, but it gave me some concern given that unauthorized charges could land on my invoice, and it was only by chance that I discovered it.

The kids loved the pool and waterslides. Hotel staff friendly and helpful at all times. Beds were very comfortable.

the staff were great. they gave us a late check out and when the shuttle service was late they got us a taxi and paid for it.

Our stay was great . The pool area is real fun for kids .we will stay there during our next trip to Calgary .

Great family oriented hotel. Rooms are a great size. Pool area is amazing!! Looking forward to return again

As a family this hotel had everything we wanted. The kids loved the indoor water park with two big slides. It was close to major shopping outlets. With McDonalds conveniently located next door we had breakfast sorted. We could park our hire car free of charge in a covered area (out of the snow). The concierge was very helpful in answering all our questions. We would definitely recommend this hotel and the price was right too.

The hotel was just off the Deerfoot Tr. Convenient to everywhere we needed to go. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and soft. Very upscale and extremely clean rooms and hotel. The only drawback was you could hear everything going on in the hallways. ( Very Loud ) Must not have a sound proof door. Breakfast was expensive at the hotel but Whitespot was just next door. We would stay again at this hotel when we visit Calgary. JC

We enjoy the Sheraton Cavalier because of its location in Calgary. Beautiful rooms and great places to eat. The pool and waterslides were great also.

We enjoy staying at the Sheraton Cavalier and always have a pleasant night's sleep. The rooms are very modern and clean, the pool keeps us entertained for hours!

The room was large and comfortable, however, the bathroom was equipped with a shower only, no tub. The mini-bar was not cold. Everything in the bar was room temperature, so we didn't use any of the drinks provided. The air conditioner/heat unit was extremely noisy and woke us up every time it activated. There was only one bathrobe provided for 2 of us. Other than that, it was OK.

Stayed at this hotel for one reason only - the indoor pool and slides. Can't beat it if you are travelling with liitle ones as I was. Would be nice to have a continental breakfast option rather than the ridiculously overpriced snack bar on the main floor.

Exceptional hotel!! The reception staff were outstanding, very friendly, very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.

Not what I expected for price, washroom needed to be redone. Room was noisy could hear others in next rooms. Fridge was full of items one needed to pay for if taken. Sauna was filthy.

Had a fantastic experience at the Sheraton, will definately visit there again. Loved having Starbucks coffee right in the room and the lobby. The rooms felt luxurious and our kids loved the pool and waterslide area.

This hotel is conveniently located and perfect for kids as it has 2 large water slides and 2 pools and 2 hot tubs. The water is a little cold. The Colors restaurant had a good childrens menu and you can get hamburgers and other things at the pool side. The hotel is close to the zoo and several restaurants are close by. We have stayed here before and would recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is good, with great pool. However, the room we stayed was not adequately soundproof. There were some construction (remodel) at 7am and that pretty much woke everybody up. Should have been warned about hotel renovation when we book the hotel.

The people that work there are very friendly and over accomadating. I have two babies they brought play pens up with in the hour. We went down to the colors restaurant for supper the waitress was overly nice and brought fruit for the babies and a cheese platter. Even though they made a huge mess she was still very friendly to them and us lol. The waterslide water was a bit cold. The little pool was nice and warm for them but no toys! It was just nice to get away and nice to be home! Thanks Sheraton! :)

This is a big hotel with multiple restaurants and a pub. It has a pool with two great waterslides. It's very a pretty busy place but I would stay there again.

Our stay was good. The problem we had was our rooms were right next door to the pool. The rooms had a strong chlorine smell and because the pool stayed open until 10:00 PM it made it very difficult to put young children to bed at a decent hour. If I was to stay there again I would make sure the room is not on the second floor.

We love to travel and we have been to many hotels and by far this is one of the better hotels that we've been to. Rates are reasonable, location is nice, very clean, very well maintained.

we were disappointed there was no where in the hotel to have a drink,except the mini bar.........the coffee machine was for pods all they supplied was the kind you use for full pots.......very pricey for not much in return

Loved this hotel, nice interior but most important-very comfortable beds!! They supplied us with 2 cribs already in the room and the water park was great for my 3 year old son and husband. And it was a great price.

Grandchildren enjoyed the pool and water slides and we were happy there was some hotel supervision of these activities. -It was hard to control the airconditioner and room was lacking some amenities i.e only2 cups and 2 glasses for 4 guests. When a note was left for the maid for extra cups or glasses there was not any provided.

This was our first stay at the Sheraton Cavalier in Calgary and definately wont be our last. The Interior of the hotel is beautiful and clean! The only downfall is the newly renovated rooms don't have a tub installed (only glass showers) so it was rather hard to bath our two young kids before bed :( We didnt run into any problems with our stay at the hotel and would recommend it to anyone (except those that need a bathtub for their babes). You wont be dissapointed :)

We were not happy with this hotel because it needs a lot of updating - bathrooms very old looking and the pool area is very dingy and old looking and did not make us want to use it at all. We had to drive a long distance for everything we wanted to do in the city. We paid a lot for this room and were expecting a much better experience than we had. Dissappointing
