Clarion Resort Fontainebleau - أوشان سيتي

Stayed at the Clarion for an event this past weekend. The cleanliness of the hotel was bad. The bedroom sheets were extremely filthy with stains. This made the stay very uncomfortable. We checked out immediately. The quality of service during this experience was just okay! The staff wasn't apologetic just agreed to allowing us to check out.

I think this hotel may be one of the cleanest. I really enjoyed my stay here in Ocean City. My boyfriend and I come here often and try different hotels (depending on price). We usually come during the offseason so it is quiet and we do not have to deal with the large crowds. There is a pretty nice bar downstairs that has five flat screens showing all sporting events. It is rather small but, stays open late. They have live bands and dancing at the hotel as well until 2am. My only disappointment was that the spa located at the hotel was shut down. This was one of the main reasons why I chose the hotel in the first place. Regardless, we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the night life. If you like going to Seacrets, its not far away. It maybe a 7 minute drive up Coastal Highway.

I was hit with $40 in extra charges for my dog when I got there that hotels.com didn't mention eventhough they called and verified that it was a pet friendly hotel and there was no pressure what so ever in the shower. They couldn't come check it because my 11 lbs dog might kill them. I paid an extra $40 for an ocean view and I was looking at a building with cracks.

We went to Ocean City for one night and were very happy with the Clarion Resort Fontainebleau. We arrived early but were able to check in to our room. The desk staff was very nice, as was housekeeping. The room had a great view and included a refrigerator and microwave. There is a nice indoor pool and a bar next to the pool. I'd definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed every bit of our stay in this hotel! It's clearly off-season, so the whole beach/town were delightfully peaceful. Our room was clean, well maintained, and showed very little wear. We loved it!

Bed was uncomfortable, bathroom really dated for rate of the room, was expecting more modern.

My room was clean but the sheets smiled like dust or mold.

The location is excellent. We had a very comfortable, ocean side room. The hotel is very clean. the decor is a bit outdated (late eighties). Rooms are equipped with large flat screen TVs. Nice restaurant and common area. Down side is that the hotel does not supply any beach amenities whatsoever so pack your own beach towel. Staff was efficient, but not as welcoming as I would have expected for a hotel of its class.

The hotel & staff are absolutely top notch.

Thought it was nice, food at hotel was excellent. We liked the band at bar nightly kids enjoyed outside pool and conviece of beach.I do think balcony was a huge disappointment I think it would be a great improvement to be able to sit on mt balcony at night for a drink or in am having coffee but u can just about stand on it and try more than one guest at a time very tight. This issue could make or break it for our next stay. You may have well just put a wall of windows in place of sliding doors.

I was so disappointed on the condition of our room. The air conditioner sounded like a train; thus, we were unable to listen to the TV unless it was turned off. the beds were comfortable and amenities were plentiful. For the cost, I was totally disappointed.

The location of the hotel cannot be beat. You take the steps to the bottom floor and walk out to the beach. Yhe view from the room was great. You can walk out on the small terrace to listen to the ocean. The service was friendly from all staff. The facility itself needs to be updated. The chain lock in our room was hanging off one screw and we had to keep moving the iron to different plugs bc the electricity went out on certain sockets. While in the indoor pool the glass overhead had a slight leak. For the amount ofmoney paid i need them to do better

My family was very dissapointed that our children were not allowed in the hot tub. I can understand not allowing unsupervised children in the hot tub, but I have never stayed anyplace where my children could not enjoy the hot tub. I also can understand keeping children out of the hot tub in the fitness area, but I think it is ridiculous to keep them out of the outdoor hot tub! The weather (and water) were cold on the first couple of days on our stay and all my kids wanted to do was sit in the hot tub for a few minutes! I will never return to this hotel because of this unnecessary rule.

It was okay, the place does not match the Clarion Resort name.

We recently stayed at the clarion in ocean MD and enjoyed our stay very much. The band nightly, the all you can eat buffet , the indoor as well as the outdoor pool also added to the fun. I would recommend the Clarion to anyone looking for the feel of a resort. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

great location right on the ocean. Outdoor bar with band each day was great. Waiter staff was very good. Room was small but managable. It had an odor when you enter but did not notice it when you are inthe room for a while. Housekeeping was terrible. Didn't get clean towels, ran out of tp, one day took all wet towels and left none for us?

The hotel room was dirty and had a terrible odor. The picture of the pool is misleading no fountain. Ended up leaving at midnight due to cleanliness did not want to sleep there. Only positive staff was friendly

My over-all experience was great. I enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, steam room and the sauna. The balcony was tiny-not even enough room for a chair.

With the palm trees and tropical flowers behind the hotel it felt like we were on an island!! There was music by the pool and bar adding to the ambiance. Would highly recommend the Clarion as a fine beach resort in Ocean City.

The overall stay was ok. The room could have been cleaner, i.e., the sofa had a huge stain and toilet had a disgusting rim. The food in the restaurant was old. I had piece of ham that was old. The entertainment was excellent. I think the room was extremely overrated based on the price. I would never stay there again.

The balcony is too small , the space is only to stand in , there is no way u can put two chairs there . View is good ( ocean view ). They told me they don't have late check out ( the late u can go it 12pm)

Overall it was a decent hotel. Location to beach and surrounding sights excellent. Hotel seemed a bit outdated, as well as the room. Expected a little better quality for the price.

Our stay was overall wonderful. The hotel staff could not have been more professional, helpful and nice as can be. What needs your attention is your restaurant/staff. We had terrible experience few years back with dinner buffet but since we were having such an awesome experience this go-round we decided to give it a second chance for breakfast Monday morning. There was literally 5 groups of people in there and our waiter only had TWO tables..ours and the one behind us. We had expressed 3 times that I needed to confer with chef for my allergies. We waited 30 minutes before someone came to even give us water, which my glass was dirty and finally the chef came out after a total of 45 minutes waiting to give me my choices. The omlet was good but overcooked and the sausage was dry and waiter never came back to refill my husband's water, juice or to get our check. Disappointment when considering it's attached to the same great service of the hotel itself. Thank you.

IT'S AN ABOVE AVERAGE HOTEL WITH GOOD SERVICE. EASY ACCESS TO THE BEACH. FAR FROM THE BOARDWALK BUT THE BUS SERVICE MAKES UP FOR THE LOCATION.

The hotel is right on the beach and offers both indoor and outdoor swimming pools in case of bad weather. Would have liked a larger balcony to sit on, but the view was great, looking both at the bay and the ocean.

Very pleasant! Hotel staff was extremely friendly. My husband and two kids stayed here over the busy memorial day weekend, and although the hotel was full to capacity, we didn't feel any compromise to service. The room was big enough for us, and we loved that it's equipped with a microwave & refrigrator. Location was excellent, beach is right in our backyard, allowed for my early beach walk. No need for ocean view, because the hotel is layout doesn't seem to truly allow for a full view. Entertainment at night was great, only hotel I noticed with outdoor band!

The hotel is very nicely kept. One can only regret that the elevators get so busy at certain times, including the service elevator that seems to stop on every floor that is is an inconvenience. Otherwise, very pleasant stay, bar, pool, Highly recommend

Staff was very friendly. Didn't like that I had to park across the street because no parking was available near the hotel. Also elevators were so full I had to wait for several attempts to find an open elevator to fit my party and luggage.

It was a nice stay.. very close to the beach. However, we found it odd that they did not even have complimentary breakfast. The beds were not of the best quality.

Location is excellent, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and my room was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Great room for good price, but horrible view if you don't get ocean front.

This is our second time staying at the Clarion place and I must say the first time was better. I only say this because I stepped on a fish hook that was on the floor next to the couch. The location of the fish hook was located where it should have been noticed/sucked up if the room was cleaned properly. When I checked out I showed the girl at the front the fish hook and she immediately asked if she could buy us breakfast. I told her no, but I wanted to tell her the room should have been free. If my 2 year old son would have stepped on the fish hook it would have been a bad day for the Clarion.
