Sheraton Station Square Hotel - بيتسبورغ

This hotel couldn't have been in a more perfect location. Went to Pittsburgh for a Pirates game and to visit some friends (we're all mid-30 something couples). You're a 3 minute cab right to all the bars and restaurants on the Southside and a 10 minute subway ride to PNC Park. The subway stop is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is great! Big rooms, great beds and bathrooms. Wonderful bar in the lobby. Overall, staff is awesome and the hotel is very clean and safe. Definitely recommend. Ideal location if you're in Pittsburgh for a fun weekend!

Horrible service. Used towels in bathroom when we got there. Water damage was obvious on ceiling in bathroom. Over priced for what we actually got.

The bellman who greated us when we arrived was EXCELLENT!!!! Friendly, helpful, outgoing, couldn't ask for more. Front desk very friendly and helpful. Room bathroom had some mechanical issues but nothing too bad. Asked for a cot and after 45 minutes called again to see where it was. They sent it right up the second time and when I checked out they had not even charged for it. That was done without me saying a word about it. Nice! Breakfast server and restaurant manager were great! The manager took the time to talk to us for a few seconds. Not about the food, just in general. He checked on us a couple of times but was not overbearing. After the food came out he looked from a distance to see that it was as it should be without interupting us. I made a comment about the coffee being strong and the server gave a very quick explanation in a really nice way. Overall, we had a very nice time.

My wife and I planned this weekend away to celebrate the life of our pet who we had to put down due to a disease. I spoke with a girl at the front desk a few days before our arrival and she provided extra care and service that made the weekend so special and memorable. Definitely will be going back.

The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. I would like to have been aware of the charge to park. This should have been included in hotel price. Sincerely, M.P.

the location of this hotel was excellent. The room was moderatly clean and modern. But even though i actually called over the telephone to make my reservation they neglected to tell me that the pool and hot tub were under contruction! This was one of the ammenities we were seeking in a hotel and this combined with the location is why we agreed to a rather expensive room rate for a simple standard room! I was told that the management would call me back and they never did! They should have upgraded guest rooms or given some sort of a make up for not having an available advertised amenitiy and at the least you should have the manager call the dissatisfied guest when the guest is told that they will receive a call. Great Location VERY POORLY MANAGED!

I loved our room! The huge king size bed was extremely comfy! I liked the fact that you not only had coffee but tea in the room--especially since I'm a tea drinker! Also, the 2 bottles of water that came in the room were very handy as we were there for a dance convention so they were used! The room was very big, lots of room w/2 closets to hang our belongings. Would recommend it again!

The hotel is older but in good shape. Stay in Pittsburgh from time to time and found it's the best value. Doesn't have tons of amenities but it is $100 cheaper than ones that do. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Great restaurants near by.

Great location, lobby is great. Room was old, a little dirty (mostly from age). Parking is expensive at $18/night. Though there is an adjacent lot that runs $16/night.

Hotel was loud, my room was over the lobby, I could see and hear what was going on from the window, and anyone who looked up could see right into my room, so I had to keep curtains closed. Went to make coffee and there was a used coffee filter in coffee maker, went to turn on shower and the cleaning staff had turned shower head out, so entire bathroom including was soaked. I've had better experiences at cheap airport hotels

Many drunk people running throughout the property with open containers...I was told that it is a party atmosphere and that is how it is there...how sad....I stayed with my family cause we had contractors doing work in our home...I was told a manager would call...one never did. The price was good...beautiful river views...but not somewhere I go again with children...

Close to a couple night spots and was a blast for NYE. Parking was a little steep though - $18 dollars for 24 hrs or over

Condition of the hotel was excellent, except for the rooms, which seemed a little dated and are probably due for a renovation. They were however, extremely clean. The hotel is located close to a number of attractions and has easy access to downtown via public transport/walking. There are a number of restaurants nearby and a short drive away. The hotel was pet friendly, up to 50lbs, great for us, but the rooms leaked a considerable amount of sound from the doors, so I would hate to get stuck in a room next to a noisy dog. Important: The hotel parking is not free, and runs about twenty bucks a day, potentially more if you take your car in and out of the garage/lot.

First of all the location is very good. Walking distance to most of the restaurents. But they have to come up with a parking systems. You pay top dollar for a room and you have to pay $20 parking on top of that ? Common that is not nice. Also rooms needed some refurbishing. HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY NICE ( FRONT DESK) I arrive around 9.00pm with my family. we were greeted nicely by the front desk. But there was no bell boy to take our bags to the room. We had about 8 bags since we had the baby. Then I asked may i borrow the carrige. Then the security said it has been chained to the pole like somebody is gonna steel it. So we had to take 2 bags at a time several times back and forth to our room. SO I was not happy about it. My overall suggestion if you have a choice DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. if you dont have a choice go ahead.

Arrived in town later than expected for the 1pm game. Hotel check-in was fast and friendly. I was directed to the parking lot and right next to it was the Clipper that takes you right up to the stadium!!! The room was huge and room service was quick. Definately am going back.

Great location to stay if you are going to a Steelers game, for sure! The ferry to the game was right next to the hotel and there is wide selection of great restaurants/bars! The hotel room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly and there is a Starbucks!

Yes, our room had a view of the river and the ferries but it also was right against the railroad tracks. Trains ran all night. Room was very warm even with the loud air conditioner on that woke us up every time it cycled. Either the trains or the air continually woke us up. Not worth the pumped-up price that I paid because of Steelers homegame. Paid half that amount in September and got a thirty dollar credit that we used for breakfast in the morning. Didn't get it this time. Staff are all friendly and willing to help. Location is great for shopping and nightlife. We would stay there again but hopefully not when there is a home game!

On the recommendation of a very good friend who went to college in Pittsburgh, stayed here at the Sheraton Station Square. This place was everything I needed, close to downtown just a short walk across the river, and in the same complex as their nightlife center, Station Square. This place has great views of the city depending on which side of the hall you're on, if you're on the away side like I was, you still look up at Mt Washington, and the Duquesne Incline. Short drive to the Rivers Casino, or the ballparks on the North Shore. Also relatively close to Pitt, Duquesne, and Carnegie-Mellon Universities if you're scouting colleges. Next time I go on an overnighter to Pittsburgh, safe bet I'll be going back here.

This hotel is very convenient for Station Sqare, casino. Lot to do in walking distance. Little pricey. Overall nice place to stay.

I cannot recommend this property. The room was in need of major refurbishment - wallpaper was peeling, paint was stained (even the ceiling), bathroom sink was cracked, and there was mold and rust around the fire suppression spriinkler head. Sheraton needs to inspect this property.

Very disappointed in hotel room. Room was far from clean. Dirty towel left hanging on bathroom door. One small bar of soap for the stay. Dusty desk and counter top. Carpet had many spots on it. A lack of attention to detail. No where near the hotel I stayed at on previous stays there years ago .Felt the cost was way more than the quality given for my money.

Hotel website advertises "recent" upgrades to their rooms. We found our room with outdated furnishings and decor. The tile surrounding the shower fixturers were cracked and left spaces between fixtures. We had to no heat until the following morning of check in and were never told there was a cost for parking, even in the hotel parking lot. The tile/concrete edging around hot tub was severely damaged, sharp edges that could have easily cause injuries to a person head or body.

This was our 5th visit to the hotel. All our visits have been for various Dance Events that have been at the hotel. The hotel was fully booked the weekend of our stay (there were several conventions going on plus big Pittsburgh Steelers game) but the staff was still very attentive. We received our early morning room service on time and placed a to go order through room service, but that we wanted to pick up on our way out, and they called us when it was ready so we could pick it up. There are plenty of restaurants (Hard Rock Cafe, Houlihan's, Bar Louie, etc.) in walking distance. Our only complaint was that the hotel said there would be a refrigerator in he room and there wasn't, but we didn't complain because we didn't need it.

GREAT HOTEL AND VERY HELPFUL AND FREINDLEY STAFF. WILL DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN! PERFECT LOCATION TO ALL THE MUST SEE PLACES AND ALSO A SHUTTLE TO TAKE YOU AND PICK YOU UP. WE WERE THERE 4 NIGHTS AND WISH I COULD HAVE STAYED LONGER.

Enjoyed the stay but paying for parking after paying to stay at your hotel is ridiculous !!!!! If it is really public parking then the Hotel should pick up the tab.... also stayed two nights, put in $40.00 received no change.. if this happens to every body, quite a little money maker, I will probably stay somewhere else next time, where parking is free.

The hotel was great, comfortable and located next to everything. Staff was great and super helpful and the beds were heavenly! Next time I visit Pitts i will remember my steelers t-shirt and stay at the Sheraton.

I had reserved this room 2 months in advance in order to host the pregame for my sister's Bachelorette night. When I arrived the hotel was crowded and the staff was flustered. They then explained that they no longer have any of the 2 double bed rooms which I had reserved 2 months prior. They gave us a roll away bed to try to solve the issue, however it made the room very crowded. Although they attempted to solve the issue, I was not happy that they gave away the room that I had reserved. Please be aware that you are not guarenteed the room that you originally reserve.

I was a little dissapointed with check-in. Checked in at 4 pm and was told there were no king size beds and was told i would have to have 2 double beds. told them that was not going to work, they said i would have to come back later and take my chances for a king room. Also the front staff was very unprofessional and not pollite.
