Everything was quiet pleasing with the hotel,sservice was great and the complication with booking was resolved quickly. The only down side was that the mini fridge smelled bad. Like spoiled milk. Other than that everything was great.

I thought the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and quick to respond despite the large wedding happening. They put us in a quiet room that was clean and well arranged. Although the blankets were a little stiff and scratchy. The decorum of the reception area could use a little updating but the pool area was both kid-friendly and has a romantic touch around the spa with rocks n plants

Always consistent, great service, nice hotel, I stay here over the concord Hilton. Strongly recomended.

My stay at the hotel was great. Unfortunately there was a horrible sewer smell in the room. Since of was staying there only one night I didn't was to go through hassle of changing rooms. Great in door pool with spa. I thought I was going to get a sleep package (as displayed in picture) was not in room. Coffe they supplied had great flavor for hotel room stay. Besides the smell which the windows did open slightly to help get smell out my stay was fun.

Nice place, the breakfast is a bargain.

We had a great time and were elated with the indoor swimming pool. The gym facility was clean however the treadmills need some serious maintenance. Our room was very quiet and comfortable. The handtowel bar in the bathroom wasn't adhered to the wall and the carpets are in need of cleaning.

I had a great time. The front desk offered me an invitation to the wine and cheese reception. Never been to one. It made my trip!

beautiful lobby. Nice room. Bed very comfortable but sheets and towels were scratchy. Otherwise very happy for location! Trader Joes across the street in nearby plaza. Front of the hotel is a little difficult to see when you are first coming into town. Lovely place though and plan to use it again in near future.

Very satisfied. Room could use some maintenance but nothing that would prevent me from returning. Staff very professional and friendly. Pet friendly which is the only type of hotel I will support, regardless of whether traveling with pet. Room had easy outside access and was quiet. Beautiful hotel. I notified my associates that this hotel should be on their recommended list.

The restaurant left a lot to be desired. We had breakfast there every day. There was no choice for the yogurt flavor, no muffins other than English, and grape jelly was the only choice. Located in a beautiful atrium, it was too cold to eat there in December so we had to eat inside. Our room often appeared to have been cleaned in a hurry with no attention to detail - papers swept off the nightstand, lotion not replaced. It was a basic hotel with no extra niceties.

Nice hotel. Large atrium which houses the restaurant, bar, hot tub, pool and sitting areas. Work areas with PC's and phones in lobby. Internet and parking are free, unlike comparable big name hotels. Some rooms come with wired Internet. Staff were very friendly. Room are fine, nothing really fancy. I had a king bed, flat screen TV, desk, small table with two cushioned chairs. The only issues I had we're that the bathroom is very small, like most places these days. Also the temperature was either controlled by the hotel or my thermostat was broken. It stayed at 71 degrees, which was horrible, I just like it a bit cooler. I never addressed it with the hotel. There's a lot around, shopping malls, restaraunts, fast food, golf right next door etc.

Everything was very nice. The Happy Hour Menu in the restaurant was great! We enjoyed a delicious late-night burger and glass of wine! I had to ask for the "free breakfast" that was listed on my reservation and they said that it was not included. I showed them my printout and they said they "would go ahead and give it to me"... they didn't seem real happy about it.

This is a lovely hotel. The restaurant is wonderful, the staff are friendly. One minor complaint: This is the third time I have stayed there and every time, I get placed in a hall where renovations are taking place or are about to take place. This time, the hallways looked a little ragged. I think perhaps they give the best rooms to customers who book directly through them.

I left the room all day and i returned to a room that was not cleaned. but when I left in the morning, the maids were on my floor.

Stay for a night or a week. You won't be disappointed. I had a weeks stay and the place was grand. Quiet rooms that were very clean, smelled clean and kept clean. The restaurant was a pilots above average. Food was wonderful but the decor was hotelish. Still worth the time to eat there. Plenty of parking and lots to do in the area during free time. Shopping and good restaurants close by.

the clerk who checked us in was rude no frig or microwave in room as promised said my problem was with hotels dot com not him becuse i did not book through hotel direct i was tired and just did not care at the time but i would like evry one to know that the crown plaza does not want hotels dot com bussiness it sees like to me so if youre room isnt right they dont care

nice room..perfect get away

My stay was great - however, I left my cell phone in the room and had difficulty with lost and found mailing it to me. I ended up hanging up and calling back the front desk to have it sent next day delivery. Problem is, it is now the next business day and still not delivered. Not really happy with service for lost and found.

The indoor pool was nice. The spa was broken but they fixed it while we were there. The coi ponds are really relaxing to look at. The room was comfortable and the bedding was nice. We had to ask for towels a few times and the delivery was a little slow. The air conditioning in the room was a little noisy and made it hard to sleep.

In the area on business, the staff at this hotel took all the stress out of our stay. Their attentiveness to detail was more than I've experienced in a lot of domestic hotels lately! And...the restaurant inside may be small-ish, but the food is very good. My one and only compaint is that while the beds were very comfortable...the pillows really need an upgrade. Both my husband and I found the pillows to be lumpy/uncomfortable.

Place was clean, surrounding area was nice.People were nice and helpful!

Lobby was very nice! The kids loved the coi pond. Indoor pool and hottub were great. Room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. The only negative about the stay was the breakfast. We paid the extra money for the breakfast buffet to be included and it wasnt worth it. The food was terrible. So I would say nice place to stay but skip the breakfast buffet.

Great hotel, awesome food, nice atmosphere.. will be back..

We picked this hotel because we stayed there years ago, when it was a Sheraton property. The grounds have run down quite a bit, but overall it was ok...not 4 star worthy but nice enough. However, the first day the toilet backed up, and it took 3 phone calls, 4 hours and tracking down a maintenance man ourselves to get it plunged. This continued through the second day, and on that day the maintenance guys imply came to the door, handed us the plunger and said "Keep it". . .really? We have to plunge our own toilet when we paid for "delux" accomodations? The night manager refused to help at 4am, when I went to the desk to inform them that the toilet overflowed again. Rude did not begin to describe his response to my simple request to move rooms. In fact, he also couldn't locate any extra towels. ..just to mop up the mess. His response was so bad that one of the night janitors tracked me down, apologized, and brought us some towels and a mop. ..yes, for US to mop up the room. Finally, a competent person behind the counter during the day moved us to another room. . .We extended our stay in Californie by a week, but did not extend our stay at this hotel. Sad, this used to be a nice place. You're better off at the Marriott Courtyard in Pleasant Hill. . .not a "hotel" per se, but the staff was wonderful, the room as clean and the toilet worked!

The Hotel was ok. Check in was fast. When I got in to the room, I notice the room next door has a dog, and it was barking nonstop. So I called the front desk and asked them to give me different room. They told me they need 5 min to find one is available, and they will call me back. I was waiting for 30 min and nobody called me back. So I gave up and stay in the same room. That was a mistake. The walls between the rooms are very thin and you can hear everything. I woke up so many times during the night. The bed sheets were old. I don’t think I will stay in this hotel again.

This hotel is very big!! We got in just in time for dinner. Went to the restaurant on site. The waiter that took care of us was great. Later I had laundry to do so we went back for a beer while the clothes were washing bartender was pleasant. We went back for breakfast and the service was a little slow. Maybe someone called out sick and they were short staffed. Ptherwise I would highly recommend. I got a gray rate on hotels.com.

Met our needs. Our room showing its age and needs upgrade. Appears that hotel has started to do that.

I really enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub area. We went to spend the night for a concert and couldn't have been more pleased.

I stayed here because i had a test in Berkeley the next morning and didn't want to drive two hours from home to get there. Hotel was obviously designed for a 1960's world, long corridors to get to to the room and dumb luck I got a room all the way at the other end of the establishment from the front desk so just walking through the the narrow smelly alleys to get to the room was the worst experience in its own. The room its self was clean and that's about all i can say about it. I woke up 3 times that night because of people making a considerable amount of noise outside, I know that's just some inconsiderate guests but it adds to the overall experience. If i knew better i would have stayed in Motel instead, would have saved me a bunch money and maybe even slept better.

It looks like this is an old Howard Johnson that has been completely redone or something. The bed and furniture were very nice. The bathroom completely re-done. Everything was new. Oddly enough, the carpet in my room was stained in quite a few spots. It seemed odd because everything else has been redone nicely. The hotel is right next to a small airport so if you're on the airport side of the hotel you hear the airplanes pretty easily. There aren't a lot of places to eat within walking distance however, downtown Concord is about a mile away and there are dozens of interesting places. The staff was courteous enough the few times I spoke with them and wake up calls were delivered on time so as far as I'm concerned, this hotel met most of my requirements for a hotel: comfortable bed, hot shower, reliable staff. The one HUGE negative is that it has the slowest wireless Internet connection I've seen in a hotel. For this reason alone I won't stay there again. I work during the mornings and evenings before meetings and this was crippling. I ended up going across the street at Star Bucks if I wanted to get anything done. Aside from that, the Toastmaster iron left something to be desired, but that's the only other negative. Oh, there was a nice big flat screen TV, but I never watched it so I can't comment on the TV or channel selection.
