I was getting my daughter set up at college and stayed at the Murano. It was Perfect. I was taken care of and had all of my needs met. Great place! Next time I will plan on spending more time looking at the amazing art collection...

The hotel had perfect pillows (for our taste), but you could select from a list of pillows to match your own preferences. we went there for the glass art and were not disappointed. We were not at all pleased with being charged for Internet in rooms. Have come to accept that parking gets charged for in this era of wishing there were no cars, but connecting to the Internet is an essential, like running water.

Hotel Murano in Tacoma was a great place to stay. Every single employee provided excellent service. The hotel room was beautiful with a great view. Lobby and main rooms had wonderful art. All-around great stay. Highly recommend it.

Like the hotel, things were great at checkin, and the hotel is beautiful with all kinds of art everywhere. Room was great also, with a great view. Room service good first night, it was fast too so I cash tipped on-top of the included gratuity on the bill. the next night they forgot about us completely so I called to remind them and we got a 40$ comp for the restaurant. We had one AWFUL server in the restaurant the day before so didn't really want to go back, but did and breakfast was definitely much better service but still needs/ has alot of room for improvement.

Our room was worth every penny. I wish we had made reservations for more than one night, but the room was immaculate, comfortable, and quiet even though it was located right next the elevator. It's also quite the happening place in the evening.

I reserved a room for my best girlfriend and her husband for the night after their reception. She loved it and said that if I were to ever get a room in the Tacoma area I would have to stay there. She said it was so fun and the room was beautiful and very comfortable.

This hotel is swanky and our room was very clean.

The room was VERY nice but it was small. For the price we paid for the room, I would have thought that parking would be included but it wasn't. Had to pay for your parking per day! There was no refridgerator in the room, you had to request one, but the phone didn't work so I had to call the main number with my cell phone. No continental breakfast. You get way more from a Best Western! You definately pay for appearance.

Very acomedating . The room was very eloquent and jazzy. If you are going you should check out the spa! The only disappointment that I had was finding out the jaquzzii was out of service and has been for for some time. Other than that it was great !

A wonderful, truly distinctive property with great service and a spectacular collection of art glass. Each floor celebrates the work of a specific glass artist with samples of his/her work. The decor continues in individual rooms with memorable, fun design elements. The staff is helpful and friendly; the restaurant is excellent. Many good restaurants in the neighborhood and just a short walk to Tacoma's gallery and museum district.

We had a very nice stay at Hotel Murano. The service was good and the room was very clean and nice, with the exception of the bathtub that was peeling and may have had a problem with the drain, unless I just didn't know how to use it. We got take out from the restaurant, which had a nice array of choices, a children's menu and reasonable prices. They have a coffee machine in the room with Italian coffee, which I really enjoyed.

I recently stayed at Hotel Murano for the first time, and it was fantastic from start to finish. Our room was spacious, comfortable and featured awesome updated decor. All services from check-in to room service exceeded my expectations. I encourage travelers to take full advantage of the amenities offered at Murano and be sure to check out all the beautiful glass art featured throughout the hotel.

Our stay was comfortable and the hotel was within walking distance of the Tacoma Glass Museum, Art Museum and lots of restraunts. There is some beautiful glass artwork located throughout the hotel as well. Would definatly recommend Murano over the other large hotel in downtown tacoma.

Staff was cordial, efficient and easy-going. Public areas are very nice, spacious and artsy. Rooms were a bit worn (saw a few) though nicely appointed and clean-enough. Restaurant (Bites) was quite good though a bit pricey for Tacoma's high-end range. Pleasant stay. Elevators a bit slow and too few in number (3)

A very classy hotel in Tacoma. Convenient to restaurants and beautiful inside. The tributes to glass artists throughout the hotel are a special treat. Good service and comfy room.

Nice hotel, good staff, clean rooms, fun bar. I definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was very cool. We had a room on the 25th floor with a great view of Tacoma. The room was modern and pretty. The bartender down stairs was very nice and she made a wonderful pomegranate martini! We could have easily walked to Glass Museum and the History Museum nearby, but we live in the area and have already visited these sights. There are some great restaurants nearby too.

We've stayed at the Hotel Murano twice, and enjoyed ourselves immensely on both occasions. The hotel is unique yet comfortable. There is a different art theme on each floor. The restaurant serves tasty and reasonably priced food. The location is within an easy walking distance from quite a few restaurants, taverns and shops. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to get away for the weekend.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Modern and clean. Restaurant could be better but it's not too bad. Would stay here again.

Very contemporary, but warm and homey feeling. Loved the security access to elevators, felt very safe. Bar/sitting area very cozy. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

We really had a hard time getting pleasant service in any part of the hotel during our two night stay. The check-in service was mediocre, at best. The Bite Restaurant was quite poor, from the greeting, to the seating, to the ordering, to getting the food, and last, but not least, getting the check. The was a question as to whether internet was included in my package (it was) and could have been offered/verified when we arrived but it wasn't. The car valet service was pleasant but sometimes unavailable. The in-room phone was almost impossible to use. The front desk was fairly unconcerned with my questioning of "dog-free floors" because of barking. Had I know there were dogs allowed, although I love dogs, I would have asked for a dog-free floor as I didn't want to hear them bark several times each night. on the positive side, I did love the beautiful art glass throughout the hotel and the rooms/beds were very comfortable.

This is my absolute FAVORITE hotel in Tacoma. My last visit was for my sister's wedding, which was at the Museum of Glass (just a couple blocks away) and the hotel was a perfect place to stay for the event. The hotel lobby is beautiful and both the spa and salon are great too! Whenever I am in town, I stay here.

I only stayed one night on business, but I wish I could have stayed longer. Room was larger than I expected and clean. I had a terrific view of Mt. Ranier which made the stay that much nicer. Great restaruants in walking distance of hotel. Valet parking very convenient. The artwork in the hotel was beautiful. I'll stay here next time I'm in Tacoma.

Everything was perfect until the party in the room above used their shower. Water then leaked from our bathroom ceiling and made using the commode uncomfortable. The hotel sent up a maintenance person who promised to try and repair the upstairs room's drain. We did not realize until next morning that the leak still persisted. At checkout I mentioned it to the desk clerk, so they could make sure and address the problem. She responded by discounting our bill, which I appreciated very much.

Excellent Character, Wait staff (had 4 meals here), very chill environment. Room was skipped for cleaning on the Monday before we checked out (4 day stay). Got in too late to bother with it. Front Desk was chill about it, as in they didn't seem to care. Surprising. Normally, they will adjust the bill in a hotel at this level, or offer a concession. So, go ahead and stay here, but manage your own room (as in, call the front desk if you leave and your room has not been cleaned by noon, and you are returning late!).

I have been staying at the Murano Hotel for business for most of the past 3 months, so have plenty of experience with it. Though Tacoma's not the most hip town, the Murano is. The staff are super friendly, the glass art throughout is gorgeous (makes it much more bearable when the elevator stops at different floors, so you can have a peek at the exhibits), the rooms are well appointed, down to Aveda toilitries and comfy bathrobes, and some rooms have fantastic views of Mt Rainier. The one downside for runners is that there are only 2 treadmills in gym. All in all, terrific hotel.

Cool, hip, clean, fun atmosphere and nice gym. I rely on the reviews to guide my stays so always in turn review. This hotel is everything people say it is. Very clean, well designed European type place. The type of place I call home and tell my wife I wish she were there to see it. Would stay again if I go back to Tacoma.

We were there for a function at the hotel, so decided to just stay at the hotel. Had booked a double/double, but received a king for same price (not sure where the disconnect was, but accomodations were more than adequate). For a large hotel it was very quiet. A couple of suggestions though: 1. Hotel patrons should not have to pay for parking. 2. Patrons should not have to pay for internet connections. Overall the stay was extremely pleasurable.

We were staying at this hotel while we were helping to set up and attend a wedding. When we were complete with the set up, we came back to the hotel expecting to get some room service before the ceremony. Room service and the restaurant are closed between 2 and 5, right when we needed it most! We were surprised in a hotel of that size that there wasn't a second restaurant or at least room service during the late lunch, early dinner hours. Other than that, we were completely satisfied with the stay for the price.

Great room size and decoration. Hotel has everything you can ask for.

I stayed here in the past when it was The Sheraton and I almost didn't recognize it now. It's gorgeous, with lots of beautiful glass art, tasteful furniture, updated bathrooms, etc. I loved the spa and the bar, and the service was great. I will stay here again.

Cpntemporary look and feel. Food quality is very good. Service is attentive and personal.

This hotel is beautifully decorated with art peices from the Museum of Glass. It was georgous. Rooms were wonderful.

This was a nice place to stay and service was great. I would stay here again. The things I didn't like: In room coffee was terrible. I made the mistake of ordering a decent pot of coffee via room service. It cost me close to $40 for that stunt. 1/2 was for the coffee, the other 1/2 for the room service. Didn't leave much for a tip. I can only assume that was already included! Food in the restaurant was decent, but way over priced for what it was. Not impressed at all with the dining experience. I recommend eating elsewhere. Everything else was fine. Had a bad experience with parking the rental car in the hotel lot, but that was no fault of the hotel.
