It was only a quick stay but the Langham did everything efficiently and courteously. I was very satisfied.

Loved the hotel and all it had to offer. My only complaint was about the 1/2 hour it took for the staff to bring our bags to the room...should have just taken them up ourselves. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Utterly 5 star in every facet. Exceptional staff and facilities. Did not want to leave. Will definitely tbe returning to this hotel.

A delightful hotel, and the Club upgrade is worth it. Breakfast and cocktails/canapés are perfect to begin and end the day on 10. Link bus stops just around the corner. Walk to the museum and then lunch on Parnell. Staff are excellent and attentive - they remember your name! Bonus! The Langham has the hottest bath water in the world....enjoy carefully.

We stayed at the Langham for a single night tto visit auckland. There is nothing to fault the hotel, it's a bit of a walk to the waterfront (10-15mins) but you can always take the (almost) free shuttle bus.

Fantastic, enchanting, classic hotel with superb, very professional service. The staff are extremely helpful and happy with it. Attention to details is prominent in this hotel. Thoroughly recommended.

The hotel was great! We spoiled ourselves with using the great spa services…hot tub, sauna, steam room, showers and pool. The room was very nice was check in for our honeymoon and told the front desk hoping for a free upgrade but they instead gave no upgrade but the room we paid for. Nice room but not a great view. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The restaurants in the hotel were very expensive even for room service. We ordered two miso soups and a caesar salad and the bill was $60. The other draw back was that when we had the do not disturb sign on the door we got at least 5 knocks on the door for housekeeping and mini bar service. You might need to bring your own do not disturb sign but the hotel was well worth the extra money.

I booked 6 rooms for guests to the Rugby Union Test between Australia and NZ. Five rooms were available at check in but unfortunately 1 guests room was not available until 4.15 pm. This was embarrassing as they were invited by Globus Group NZ Ltd to attend the match and enjoy the luxury of staying at the Langham. My guests were a little dissapointed at the shutting of the house bar. They returned after the game to the hotel facilities only to have them shut reasonably early.

The Langham upgraded us to top floor level which included use of their 1865 club, breakfast in the morning and canapes and drinks in the evening. Fruit and bottle water in our room each day and a turn down service with chocolates at night. They went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. There was a shuttle bus running every half hour to the city which helped with the 2 km distance from the CBD. We would return.

puts the O in opulence.A truly 5 star experience. The day spar is world class. Staff fall over them selves to attend to you.

Most wonderful experience. Just loved staying here! Romance, opulence and old fashioned service. Not on the harbor itself but a shuttle bus leaves every 30 mins to drop you onto the harbor front. Spent the extra for the Club Lounge - money well worth spending. Included breakfast, with canapes and drinks in the evening. Loved the 24hr lounge with coffee machine, icecream, yoghurts and fresh fruit. Would definitely return for another stay. Ken, the Doorman, you're an absolute gem!!

the gym if interested was pretty poor, the location a bit out of way, but thats not necessarily bad and they do have a bus to take you downtown. over all ok, pleasant, nice inside...

I decided on the Langham after comparing the neighboring properties within the Auckland area. I would have paid the same price for a 7 night accommodation at a 3 star or 4 star hotel. The location is convenient to public transportation (buses, taxis) and is located in the heart of downtown Auckland. I was able to reach most areas (Mt. Eden, K-Road, War Museum) by walking. Other areas by the water can be reachable via Langham's free shuttle bus, which runs every 30 minutes to the Britomart. They have internet kiosks on the 5th and 6th floors. Turndown service complete with mints and slippers, fresh towels all day long, jacuzzi hot tub on the 2nd floor spa area and staring at the star-filled Auckland sky from the tepid pool area really made my stay worthwhile. I arrived severely early off of my flight and was able to check in 6 hours ahead of schedule with no problem. Buffet brunch at Eight was to die for. The staff here smile, genuinely care and welcome you. You just can't get this service anymore at the high-end NYC hotels. What a shame. This place is really priceless. I hope it stays this way. *Note: not a kid-friendly hotel.*

We decided to spend 2 nights at the highly regarded Langham to celebrate my birthday. We were greeted by quite possibly the worst welcome we have ever had in any hotel anywhere in the world. I must admit I was very close to just telling the outrageously rude receptionist to hang on one second and keep the fee for the 2 nights as I refuse to stay in a place which made me feel like they were doing me a favour by letting me stay. It really set the mood for the next couple of days.After the 20 second check in, I actually had to ask the bell boy later if he could tell us what facilities were available to us and general information about the hotel services as we were not even told which floor our room was in or even how to get there! I found out later that my partner went back to ask for help providing cellotape to wrap my gift and was faced with the highest level of unprofessionalism and disregard. The gentleman actually said 'No' and turned the other way. The breakfast in bed plan was the cherry on the cake with stale bread and very poor quality of food that you pay top dollar for. In all honesty the Chuan spa was delightful, and the people working there were what you would expect from a high quality establishment. The bars. resturaunts and tea areas were lovely. In summary we would never recommend this hotel to anyone to stay overnight. The reception was laughably disgusting. It is a lovely place to visit to use the spa or have a drink or meal. We have stayed in some of the poshest hotels in the world and some which are relatively modest. We always felt welcome and special. A warm smile and simple hello does not cost anything. Wish this hotel could provide just that.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was most helpful and the Hotel had convenient access to the Motorway and to the Central Business District. I only ate breakfast at the Hotel but found it high quality and filling. The only negative that comes to mind is the high price of things. I wanted to get my laundry done but I would be damned if I paid $5 for a pair of socks. Although the breakfast was good, it was expensive. One morning I got someone else's bill (an airline employee) and their cost was 1/2 of mine. However, vacation money is not real money :) and overall, I enjoyed the Langham very much.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to walk or take the shuttle. A very elegant hotel with great swimming pool and spa. Rooms are very quiet and comfortable. Reasonable rates.

This was my first time out of the United States and I am very glad that I stayed in your hotel. The services was great. The first night I stayed, I stayed on the six floor and then the next night I stayed, I stayed on the fourth floor. I learned that floors 1-4 was one thing and then the rest was upper class. I will be back and I will stay on the 6 floor or higher. I loved my stay!!! Thank You

The hotel is reasonably well situated close tolocal shops and a 10 minute walk to the main shopping area. The hotel lobby area in particular and the bar and restaurants are very impressive and the food served is varied, well presented and appetising offering reasonable value for money. Our room was adequate though the ensuite was tiny. The room overlooked a large expanse of grey, flat roof offering no views of the city which was a dissappointment. Wifi was available but expensive. The reception, courtiege and restaurant staff were very courteous, efficient and very helpful. The single service issue we had was dealt with very satisfactorily

Candles at check in, swanky. Removing them with us standing at desk, sub standard. Dining room telling us they would have the chocolate croissants available in morning that we read about on Trip Advisor, Swank. Us arriving in morning to find out that was incorrect, sub stand. Desk allowing us to check out at noon since we checked in about midnight. Swank. Putting us in a room beneath a room under construction which began first thing in morning, sub stand. Seeing bottled water and a glass on bedside tables, swank. Housekeeping yelling to each other up and down the hall, sub standard.

My first visit to Auckland and Langham hotel made a great impression of New Zealand.

Had a great stay at the langham while there for a long weekend in Auckland. Hotel is very grand and the room was very comfortable with great black out curtains and a really cosy bed! We used the spa facilities a few times and the outdoor hot-tub was fantastic. IN the changing rooms there are a lot of other nice features like a cool ice bath feature. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other young and not so young couples for a romantic break.

Eventho it is far from the downtown the hotel shuttle is very convenient. I would definitely stay there in future.

The hotel was great. The lobby was beautiful and the room was quite comfortable. The spa and pool area was amazing.

Our room was fabulous until our "neighbor" came in at 10:30 pm and blasted his music. Since the room had an adjoining door, we were awakened from a sound sleep. The hotel was apologetic, but do check to see that your room does not have an inner door. Otherwise, a lovely place.

Considering I thought I was getting a great deal on this hotel, I was surprised by how fancy it was when I arrived. Well, the lobby was fancier than the rooms, but it was still a nice stay. We had a good view from our room, and the hotel was generally quiet. The free shuttle to the CBD Viaduct was great. My only complaint was that the King bed was actually two twin beds, but I found this to be the case in nearly every hotel I stayed at in NZ.

Seems like whenever I come to Auckland I'm coming off a long journey, or from some third world kingdom and have a need to rest up and give myself a treat. What could be nicer than a plush hotel after a small foam matress in the middle of the pacific. I've stayed at two other hotels in Auckland, one much more costly and one about the same as the Langham, cost wise. I will choose the Langham again, and again, and again. Great room, impecable service, great location, shuttle to downtown shopping, great staff and a great price. Great bed too, nice and firm. This is a classy place, all round. Truely an incredible value.

Excellent hotel at the price we paid.

Our stay was fantastic. The Concerige was very helpful. I liked the free shuttle to the heart of the city. It was a little too close to a cemetery.

Great hotel, however, the location is not perfect. There are very few restaurants around the hotel that are not Asian food. Also right now, there is a lot of construction going on around the hotel and it was hard driving around it. The rooms were great, comfortable and the services the hotel provides were incredible for the price we paid.

This is a classic hotel in the Old World style. I only wish I could have stayed a week!

設備は素晴らしいです。 スパは無料では入れます。 しかし、以下の点が気になりました。 1.デポジットの高額さ 150ＮＺＤのデポジットを要求されました。使わなければ返してくれますがこんなに高額なデポジットは初めて 2.カードで支払うと手数料を取られる カード支払いだと手数料が2％取られます。事前に説明も無く不親切です。 3.都心からは遠い バスがあるものの、都心から遠い印象は否めません 以上の理由により、あまりこのホテルはお勧めできません。

호텔 객실이 편안한 분위기에 조용해서 숙면을 취하기 좋았습니다. 위치가 번화가에서 약간 떨어져 있어서 아주 조용했습니다.하지만 찾아가기 어렵지 않고 편의시설이 좋았습니다.
