Four Seasons Hotel Sydney - روكس

We were upgraded to a Harbor View. Just beautiful. The only thing we could complain about is....no free wi-fi. A hotel of this quality should be able to offer this for it's guests.

Spent 1 night for my fiances birthday & it was amazing. The staff were very nice & helpful! What set this hotel apart from others was the staff, they helped with luggage & valet parking, they would always open the door to the hotel & even the taxi door. Now that's service! The hotel itself was simply beautiful :) would have been more better if we got a room with a water view instead of a crap convenient store view. All in all 10 OUT OF 10 :)

The reception staff here are beautifully trained, and seemingly nothing is too much trouble. The decor is beginning to look very slightly worn, especially in the bedrooms, but the beds are memorably comfortable. Great to have the pool, but this area looks tired, especially the planting which is half dead. The Four Seasons group insist on charging (high prices) for Wi-Fi internet connection, which is unacceptable. Also, it is impossible to read in bed as the lighting is inadequate. Food good, although over-hasty serving staff tend to clear plates away before one has even finished swallowing the last mouthful. All in all, a good hotel nonetheless.

We love this hotel and its always our hotel of choice in Sydney.

Conveniently located at walking distance to train station (3 min) and town hall shopping area (15 min), and a taxi rank is always ready at the door step to take you to places more farther away. Will surely choose it again if there is money to spare.

My wife and I frequent this hotel when we stay in Sydney. Its our choice for comfort and service which is second to none. Always a happy and comfortable stay.

The view to the Harbour bridge and Opera house was incredible, and to top it off a cruise ship came into the harbour. Staff were extremely helpful and knew our names/ The extra money spent in the Executive Suite for drinks, canapes, and buffet breakfast was outstanding. Will go back there again for the 3rd time and friends will be staying there upon our recommendation.

We arrived at the hotel on Christmas Day. The hotel was not as good as we would have thought in a way that it was quite old and looked like not being properly maintained. The feeling remained the same with the room floor..... Despite this, the lady that checked us in was very nice and helpful. As well, most of our requests were being timely taken care of properly and timely. The most disppointing experience was the poor manner we encountered at the front door when we tried to ask questions around parking arrangement - we were being scolded for asking whether it would be cheaper to park at the public carpark next door vs valet parking at the hotel. The attitude of the door man was so poor that it actually spoiled our day - at the end, we also discovered that it was actually much cheaper to park at the public carpark (cost only A$25) vs valet parking at the hotel (A$55). My husband will write a formal complian letter to the hotel for this.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Four Seasons. The service was amazing, everyone was so helpful and friendly. The Rocks market was less than a minutes walk as was many other fantastic restaurants and cafes. The harbour bridge could be seen from our window and was only a 5 minute walk to get to. The Opera House was also just around the bay and 5 minutes away. We would definitely be coming back to stay at the Four Seasons in the future.

Christmas party at a well-known venue on Kings Street Wharf meant we needed a good comfortable bed for the night; away from the intensity of Darling Harbour. Easy of access to the airport was also in the mix as we had a flight to MEL the next day. The Four Seasons suited us perfectly. Car parking charge might be a little heavy for some.

Great location for seeing the best of Sydney.Right on the harbour and in the middle of Sydneys tourist district. Very busy downtown part of Sydney but well away from any sleazy areas.Rooms not huge but adequate and well maintaned and noticably quite for a big hotel.Very nice bathrooms and have no problem with staying thier again.

Great hotel I loved it.

Thank you for an amazing stay. My husband and i have not had an overnight like that since before children 10 years ago. we thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the cocktail bar and the rocks markets. we were there to celebrate a friends 50th in which the 12 guests stayed at the hotel. special thanks to the most delighful cocktail waitress, ( meant to write her name) pretty girl with her hair in a long ponytail. Her service to our group was delightful. if i could escape my 3 children again, i would be back there in a flash. many thanks

Few would argue that first impressions count. The moment I drove into the set down entrance of the Four Season, Sydney I was met by friendliness and respect. That was my first impression and it lasted right to the moment I walked away after my stay. The staff were exemplary . The ambiance was worldly. And the location was perfect. I have a belief that to serve is to honour oneself and the other. I felt that Four Season's staff believed that too. And I thank them for it. Four Seasons has a world standard...one I would always recommend to friends here and overseas. Thank you.

We only stayed for a short period of time but the hotel was conveniently located, the service was fantastic and the room had a good range of amenities and was very quiet and comfortable.

First class hotel, was Impressed by every attention to detail! A very comfortable stay

The hotel is very convenient to Circular Quay, The Rocks and all the attractions of central Sydney. It is not inexpensive so we had high expectations. The room was comfortable although the bed was showing signs of age. The breakfast was expensive, and the food is average, but we ate there both mornings for the convenience and also for the pleasant ambience. On the whole the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We were surprised though when the housekeeping staff started work at 6am on the Monday, calling out to each other outside our door and constantly slamming doors as they entered and left rooms every couple of minutes. I am usually a heavy sleeper but they did wake me. At first I thought it was unruly guests. It came as a surprise to me when I realised it was the hotel staff creating the ruckus. In the end I had to go out into the corridor in my hotel robe and ask them to keep the noise down. Not something I expected to have to do in a relatively expensive hotel. I mentioned it again at check-out and the reception staff were very apologetic, so I will probably give this hotel another chance, mainly due to its convenience.

The Four Seasons Sydney is a top quality hotel in the heart of circular quay. The hotel is close to all major harbour attractions and the historic rocks area. The hotel is a short walk from the refurbished Pitt Street Mall shopping district. hotels.com offered a competitve room rate and while this is always our first choice hotel when staying in Sydney anyway, the saving was a bonus. Staff are always professional and courtious. The gym, day spa and pool are among the best equiped you'll find in a hotel anywhere in the world. Recommended you visit.

This is the best hotel for location in CBD. Amazing views of the harbour & Opera House and so close to everything. Staff could not have been more delightful!

Excellent hotel and position. Staff brilliant. Only one down side - internet was very expensive to use in room - seems unncessary.

The location and views from the hotel are second to none. We enjoyed our stay immensely. All the staff we encountered were helpful and cheery. The girls that attended to the bed "turn down" were amazing .... very efficient and friendly. It was our second stay there and we have a number of events throughout the year that we will endeavour to re-book fo.

When it is Four Seasons, you expect a real deluxe hotel. This one in Sydney was not up to the expectations. The bed-rooms & general service areas were not spacey enough, the F&B service was incredibly poor. Physically and in scope of F&B service, the hotel does not meet the standards. Therefore, the overall experience can be expressed as "you don't get value for the money paid". But I was happy with the service and the compatible rates provided by the Hotels.com.

I think that selling Internet services in a hotel, especially in a 5-star like Four Seasons is something unacceptable. The management of such an hotel should understand that this is really not good for the image of the company. As I was attending a congress with a lot of people from everywhere around the globe, I witnessed that everyone was looking for other solutions to get connected to the net, including free wireless at Mcdonalds Restaurants and Starbucks Coffees. No one was willing to pay this amount which is roughly the same in US dollars. On our way to Sydney we spent 2 nights at Swissotel Merchant Court in Singapore where the Internet was free of charge in the room with a cable and just the wireless was to be payed.

Hotel is well located, service was fine though the hotel felt its age. While the room had been done up quite nicely the bathroom was orginal with the shower over bath. The room had a view straight to the Opera house yet due to the design of the building we were more concious of the wall of the next room . The main gripe that also aplies to many Aussie & NZ hotels was the mattress is to soft and not that comfortable, also hotels at level should not be charging extra for wifi which is another pratice that is far to common in Australia yet almost never get charged for in other countries. Overall while the hotel was fine it was slightly disapointing as was expecting more from the Four Seasons but it was just another hotel.

As a bride & groom we expected superior service considering it was the one night we were both a king & queen. We did not receive any acknowledgement nor any upgrades or freebies. The room was rather small. The view was magnificent. The fittings and carpets should be upgraded, they are dated.

great location. nice hotel. the evening turn down service was a bit too extensive. they put all my clothes into the wardrobe and laundry bag. i didn't know to expect this, so i nearly left without them.

This property is exceptional! It's beautiful and located in the midst of all the beauty of both The Rocks and Circular Quay. I only wish we could have stayed longer!
