Grand Hyatt San Francisco Union Square - سان فرانسيسكو

Hotel is under a remodel, wish i had know this prior to booking. Maid service was never prompt came to clean room around 4pm each day? Not kosher when we were out of the room the entire day. Guess the new guests get priority over those checked in....

....to get out and walk. Shopping is close by. Would highly recommend for a first time stay or repeat.

Windy night and hotel rattled because of wind. It was similar to a cruise ship creaking. I hope it is not like that normally. Beautiful remodled room. Breakfast buffet was very good.

Very nice hotel in a very convenient location. Just a few blocks from great shopping, restaurants and Chinatown. We walked almost everywhere we wanted to go and it was easy to catch the trolley or the muni in case you wanted to travel to different parts of the city. The top floor with restaurant and bar has spectacular views of the city. Would definitely stay here again.

The view from our 18th floor room waa amazing.. Make sure you visit the restaurant on the 36th floor for another amazing view

Great hotel. The newly done rooms are modern and clean. Our room had an amazing view of the city. Had the automatic shades that go up and down with a push of a button. Parking is across the street at about $35/night. The only slight problem with our room was that the water pressure from the shower was really low. Other than that, had a great time.

Fantastic stay. we had HIGH expectations and the hotel excelled!!! The bell staff, conceirge, front desk team, cleaning staff all did a great job. This hotel is close to everything. We will use this hotel every time we return to SF.

Renovated rooms are grand and gorgeous. I will return here when I come back for a girls night out in the city! From check in to bellboys, everyone was very professional and nice.

Would defiantly stay here again.... Spent the first two nights of our three night stay at the Palace Hotel for a business conference. Then moved to the Hyatt for the last night in the city after the conference ended and was very pleased. We left our first hotel at 9:00 am and walked the short three blocks to the Hyatt. We were happy the staff left us check in early and the room was ours for the entire day. The staff went out of their way during the stay to exceed our expectations. We needed ice packs frozen for our return trip, they came to the room, picked them up, froze them, and returned them the next morning upon request. The beds were very comfortable, the room was very clean, nicely decorated, and new feeling. Perfect location, right in the heart of Union Square. Restaurant/Lounge on 36th floor has some of the best views in the city. Even if you do not stay here you should have a drink in the lounge. Our King room was a bit small but certainly sufficient and only had a shower, no bathtub.

This hotel is conveniently located for all sites in San Fran, right on the doorstep of Union Square & great for catching all transport links. Room plush, bed extremely comfortable (and I am a person who has chronic insomnia) loved the black out blind. Liked the fact that they had a vanity area as most hotels will have mirror & possibly a desk/table but usually not near one another. Couldn't really fault this hotel, bar/restaurant on 36th floor has fantastic views of city (however bit expensive but you are in touristy city) Concierge staff are phenomenal with their local knowledge & site-seeing suggestions, REALLY made our trip. I think it was Louise (she has been there 22 years, there is nothing she doesn't know!) Staff extremely polite & helpful with all requests. The only thing I could say which was disappointing (which I wouldn't lower my rating for) was that they advertise that the rooms have a fridge. As we are ones to bring stuff back to the room & buy basic groceries locally to cut eating out costs stating they had fridges was misleading as you could only fit maybe a bottle of milk & maybe (2) other drinks in it, so not much really.

Overal a decent hotel. But from the description on hotels.com it was not accurate. Rooms were small and no tv like it stated in the bathroom. For the amount of money they charge a night I feel like I git ripped off. However if your just looking for a nice place to stay in the center of union station this hotel will suit that. Was a little noisy since it is in union station. Perhaps a higher floor will cut the noise down a bit.

Hyatt was missing a lot of immunities. In the middle of renovation I expected a lot more

love the location . in the middle of union square. The room is good , modern but have to ask for amenitites such as showercaps, q tip etc and also no drinking water supplies and nothing in the fridge.In my opinon, for this kind of hotel with this rate , everything should be ready for guest uses. The breakfast is ok but the view on the top of floor is very stunning .

Comfortable and clean rooms but very basic hotel. No frills for a Grand Hyatt - nothing grand about it. Long queues for breakfast - hopelessly inadequate facilities. Great location - next to Union Square & shopping area.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt. The location can't be beat and the rooms are spacious and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Good location at Union Square and has a Starbuck's directly across the street! Short drive to most everything else. On side note, don't waste time or money on the trolleys!!!! Trust me. Take a cab, take the bus or rent a car.

Nice hotel with good views. Near union square ....lots of shopping. Daily tours stop by at union square ideal for family. Close to BART station on powell st for transfer to Airport, Oakland and Richmond areas. Six blocks down the lane is tender loin area which has high crime rate (avoid stroll at nights).

Best spot in the city, get a room overlooking Union Square. The hotel was recently renovated and is as stylish as any W. Highly, highly recommended, especially around the holidays when you can look down on the Christmas tree, Macy's and ice skating rink in Union Square.

Great hotel! The staff was very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. I wasn't pleased to pay for internet and the street construction just down from us make it a challenge to navigate all the one way streets by car BUT the hotel itself was great. There are plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance and Union Square was a block away. I'll stay again when I am in the area.

Great hotel and extremely well located, Though I have a feeling that they give the lower floors, rear facing rooms to Hotel.com bookings as a matter of course. The aircon fan was really noisy at low speed but wokred fine on high. Breakfast buffet can be extremeky busy around 8 - 830 with a delay being seated,

Arrived early (by11 a.m.) room was available and ready. Checked out by 2 p.m. without problem. Extremly courteus and friendly reception and concierge.

Rooms are renewed but common areas and front desk still very old looking.... We won't stay in this hotel anymore... for the same price, we can stay at the Westin, a much better quality hotel... We brought our little puppy in our trip and he got super-terrified with all the noises... the elevator was super-loud... it does not stop making loud noises... We had to change rooms but due to the design of its floors, no matter where you stay, all rooms are loud! If you stay floos <6, you get all the loud noise from street level. Also, there is not place for dogs to walk around to do their necessities... Anyhow, we realized this hotel is too expensive for the quality of their rooms and amenities... Good luck!

Great for business and personal travel...close to a lot: BART, bus, mall and Walgreens. Food in the restaurant is a bit pricy but there are a lot of alternatives on the street level.

The hotel was in a great position, very clean all the staff were very helpful and attentive, would definatley stay here again and recommend it to other people. We had a great time in San Francisco, but if going take some warm clothes it can get very cold in the evenings, we stayed in September 2011.

My wife and I stayed here in July. Great hotel. Conveniently located with pretty much anything you'de want to see within walking distance. We stayed on the 25th floor. Great view of the city!!! Plus, they had an electric shade that would cover the windows and make the room almost pitch black - great for sleeping given that the city lights can be so bright. I will definately go back!

I highly recommend the Grand Hyatt at Union Square. It was so convenient. I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. It was beautiful. I loved the location being so convenient to shopping, cable car, restaurants. It was spotless clean.
