We got a bayview room for the weekend. The view was spectacular, and the room was very comfortable. The service was great too. I forgot my sunglasses in the car, and the valets brought them up to my room in about 10 minutes. We couldn't have been happier with our stay!

Hotel sits right on top of a Bart station, so very convienint for travelers. Also not far from muni line, only 1 block & the embarcadaro. Hotel is nice rooms are great for the price, views of the bay& bay bridge lights! Very nice crib for our baby as we celebrated my wife's first Mother's Day. This is a great hotel for anyone, as our rate also came with an excellent breakfast!

It was in the perfect location to get on and off of mass transit. The rooms were very small. We even upgraded to the balcony bay view room.

The hotel was awesome, the views and the customer service was outstanding. I will definitely stay at Hyatt hotels from now on if they are all like this one. The food was delicious, a bit pricey, but worth it. I want to thank you for having such a wonderful hotel for our stay in the city to attend the GIANTS GAMES. "GO GIANTS"

Extremely courteous registration desk staff. Rooms are small, but views and service and location spectacular.

We were upgraded to a room with a view of the Ferry Building. Please be sure to budget for the $60 overnight parking fee charged if you are driving into town. Nice and close to Ferry Building and waterfront.

We had a great time! Good food, nice people and a very nice room.

We booked a Bay View room as it was a 50th birthday celebration. When we were told that the corner room on the top floor was available, we were delighted, thinking that we would then have both an eastern and southern view. It's a corner, right? Wrong! Guess what takes up that valuable real estate. A freight elevator! (I guess I could be a little more forgiving if even the elevator had had the view but, sadly, no...) Our view was lovely, of course, as well as the sliding glass door which, when opened, allowed the pigeons to share your room as well. NOT a joke... The water closet, however, was so tiny that there was not enough room for knees, toilet, and door so something had to be left out of the room when necessity required its use. It was just very strange architectural room design and, for that much money, I will probably book somewhere else the next time I stay in the City.

Stayed here for work. Convenient location - right next to the Embarcadero stop, walkable to the water. The hotel staff were very gracious and helpful. Had breakfast in the restaurant and was able to get free wifi. Wonderful stay! Will book with them again!

Great location for waterfront shopping, the Ferry Building and the new Exploratorium. All are within easy walking distance. The breakfast for the conceirge floors is fabulous. It's held at the top of the building so the view is breathtaking. Everything was great except the bathroom is too small. It had kind of a "on a ship feeling.

I love this hotel and have stayed there about 5 times over the past 10 years. However, this time I noticed the rooms were starting to look a little shabby - just little things like dusty carpet around the perimeter of the room, etc. I mention this becuase I had an asthma attack while staying, which usually happens when the room/furnishings are dusty. However, otherwise the rooms were as comfortable as ever and the service 5 star

Great spot for a getaway, easy access to all public transportation, great scenery good people, good food options.

We had a great time at the hotel. The lights in the lobby are amazing. The room was comfortable and clean. The only issue we had was during the night some people were yelling on the street below and woke the family. We laughed it off and went back to sleep.

The hotels atrium is a must see, in a great spot left the car and trammed everywhere

Having lived in San Francisco for years and still owning a rental there, it was strange to have to stay in a hotel. But the Hyatt Regency is so well located and everyone was so nice and helpful I felt right at home immediately. If I didn't want to go out to the Presidio, I would have never moved my car there as the hotel is near the Ferry Building, Union Square and the best shopping and eating San Francisco has to offer. The breakfast buffet was way above the average fare and the workout room was complete.

Beautiful hotel. Really appreciated the staff & the Regency Club Room breakfasts!

Stayed at this hotel for a wedding nearby and found it comfortable, all the right amenities and very well located. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only issue of note was the clock in the room was off by 30 minutes??? would definitely stay here again when in San Francisco.

Stayed at the Hyatt for two nights. Beautiful lobby, excellent service and comfortable beds. The reason I marked it down in the rooms and cod option category is because the showers were pretty outdated with pretty poor water pressure. Other than that I lived everything else about my stay!

Almost everyone smokes on the balconies...Hyatt doesn't enforce No Smoking policy, rather makes you do it yourself. Plenty of better places to stay in this area.

Very nice hotel in a great location my only complaints would be that I had to request room service each day to clean my room and even after a 5 day stay they never vacuumed the room also there is no free internet access you have to pay extra every 24hours

Balcony had great view of the bay. Too bad internet was not free in this day and age. Concierge helpful with tourist info and booking

We loved the hotel and the location. There were plenty of homeless across the street, bless their souls and hope they can stay warm. You guys charged for the dog and did not offer anything for them. I guess you have to vaccuum better, or something. It is a nice hotel and convenient to shopping and the Ferry Building. That was great!

great location. great hotel for the money

I stayed on 3-1-13 and on weekends the construction doesn't seem to be an issue, but on weekdays the roadwork outside the hotel starts at 8am. If you are not an early riser be warned. Also, the construction apparently involved some underground work which caused a problem on the lowest level of the conference rooms because of a horrible smell. Not a problem in the rest of the hotel so don't worry about the guest rooms. Great location, convenient to lots of stuff and BART. Also, if you do check in before 3pm and want privacy, be sure to put the note on the door. I tried to nap and four times housekeeping tried to come in to check the room. Apparently the front desk hadn't notified them the room was occupied.

We had an amazing time - this hotel was the perfect location for our romantic getaway. Walking distance to the waterfront and easy access to transportation. We will definitely stay here again.

Beds were very small

Great location but looking a bit "worn out" both in the rooms and in the common areas. Staff were very helpful though.

The staff was helpful and accommodating. The bar had an open ambiance.

The hotel needs some sprucing up!

We stay here each year when go to ZAP. Best location. Close to resturants and with in walking distance. Resturant to try Fog City Diner.

Overall cleanliness and convenience. We were stayed on 4th floor, all windowns are facing Market street. At night it was very noisy, between street cars, taxis and cars, they kept us up until 2am before we able to rest, and it start all over again @ 6:30 am. I recommend for those who want to stay there, should request for higher floor and willing to paid $40 more per night. Cause we asked for higher floor they told us that we need to paid more for it.

The hyatt is one on the best places to stay. My only compliant is that the ventilator was a bit noisy and it disturbed my sleep during the night. Other than that everything was great

gREAT STAY. lOVE THIS HOTEL. sTAFF WAS AMAZINGLY HELPFUL.

Great location slightly away from tourist sights. The "embarcadero" is not the wharf of fisherman's wharf. This hotel is located in the financial district - tall buildings, some lovely restaurants near by and of course the wharf. Easy access to ferries to oakland and beyond. the Eclipse restaurant was perfect for a business breakfast, Very nice all around.
