I think the Hyatt in Vancouver is a great place to stay. Centrally located, the hotel was extremely comfortable. My room seemed to have been recently renovated and was exquisite...modern decor, comfortable. All I can say is well done!

Walking distance to so much including the subway. Only complaint is a hotel of this quality and rating with Internet access being chargeable at rates we were used to 10 years ago.

New kind of really cool elevators

Very friendly, clean. Cool elevator high-tech system saves wait-time. Park in Pacific Centre weekends & save 60%.

Overall the hotel stay was clean and right downtown near all the amenities. They do not include free Wi-Fi with your stay. I would have expected free internet, they advised us we could come down to Starbucks to use the free Wi-Fi! Even coffee shops offer this service. Come on Hyatt get with the times!

Hotel room and staff are excellent. No complaint. Highly recommended.

My wife and I found the service courteous and efficient. The room was or a standard appropriate to the price. As i Travel great deal I have list of hotels I would take my wife to and this one will remain on my list. Close to all down town locations a safe location

the only thing that I would coment on is that the internet is 14.95/24hr period,most hotels include\ wireless with the room fee,

Our only problem with this hotel was at check-in. We arrived at 3:30 and were told our room would be ready by 4:30. By 5:00 we still had not heard. Front desk reception area was crowded due to special events at the hotel. However, there were only two people on duty. This seems shortsighted given the nature of this holiday weekend. Still, it was a great place to spend the New Year! Would definitely stay again. JJ

The standard of service offered was excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The only negative was locating the hotel entrance and carrying bags from the Skytrain at Burrard Station. Although most of the clientele at the hotel probably don't normally use public transport we orignally selected the hotel from others largely because of the ease of access to the international airport and the access to/from the skytrain. Some advice on traversing the skytrain with bags to the hotel would have been useful.

Great hotel and the thing that stood out the most was the friendliness of the staff. From bellmen, maids, front door guys, extremely nice and helpful. Would definitely stay at this hotel again when I go to Vancouver.

There is no better food experience than a comfortable stay in the Hyatt and easy walks to hundreds of wonderful restaurants. Always competitive rates through Hotels.com. Get the $75 credit option and use your credit for parking.

Great location and good value, except they have some service problems. Food was defineitly not as good as other Hyatts. Overall, service was weak. Wireless Internet (at almost $70/week) was a nightmare and did not work. We spent more time on the phone w/ the front desk and tech support than we spent using the Internet. Very frustrating -- and expensive.

Everything was first class about this hotel - service, staff and location. Different concept in shower - the water comes out from the ceiling. Great for tall people.

My partner and I chose this hotel as our New Year's Eve party was literally right across the street. The room was fantastic, we ordered room service which was promptly brought to our room and was delicious. The beds were so comfortable and many amenities which we greatly appreciated. A complimentary breakfast and late checkout was included which was wonderful considering it was New Year's Day! We were also able to bring our small dog whom we take everywhere with us and were made to feel very welcome with him. All in all, a fantastic experience and we will definitely return in the future if the need arises! Thank you so much Hyatt for a wonderful stay!

Great hotel, very clean, conveniently located . Great value.

When we arrived, remodeling was going on in the Lobby elevators. This made things very confusing when getting on the correct elevator to get to our floor/room. Our visit occured a couple of days after Christmas. There were interesting large-scale gingerbread displays in the lobby that were festive until the hotel decided to demolish them in the middle of the day (loud, distracting and messy). Why not after/before waking hours? Additionally, while advertised as offering a "spa-like" experience, we arrived to find that the pool was closed and that the excercise facility was temporarily (and unsatisfactorily) relocated to another floor. When packing to leave, we found a dirty sock on the floor that was not ours. VERY unsatisfactory.

It took more then 10 minutes to check in as room was not ready. Bed sheets had stains. Housekeeping put hand towls on rail next to toilet for handicap people rather then next to sink where should be. Service was less then impressive

Stayed here on Boxing day with a bunch of friends. The Location was awsome and the Value of room that we recieved for what we paid was beyond for Downtown Vancouver. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Awsome.

Beautiful hotel, very nicely decorated in lobby for Christmas. Loved our room as it overlooked the downtown and area. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom facilities, and lovely decore. Close to Robson Street shopping as well as to Pacific Centre and Granville St night life. Lounge on main floor was very warm & cozy with great service from staff. Had a wonderful relaxing weekend away.

The Hyatt never seems to dissapoint! We always choose Hyatt wherever we go, because we always get great service! When in doubt, stay at the hyatt!

Our stay at the Hyatt was excellent. Customer service was great, parking easy and cheap.

Excellent service and location. Nothing unexpected regarding hotel or room. Starbucks in the lobby. Would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again.

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Service is polite. Did not include WiFi as it was suggested because we booked through hotel.com. Rooms are roomy with a Japanese slim design style. Right in the middle of the night life and all the stores downtown.

I spent 3 days in Vancouver and found the Hyatt to be a great place to stay. The rooms are very modern with a great view of the city, mountains and bay from our 20-something floor room. The staff was very nice and helpful the few times I needed something. The location is in the heart of downtown and easy walking distance to shopping, dining and the subway station is literally next door. If you are in town on vacation or downtown business, it's a great option.

We ordered our two night stay through Hotels.com. There was lots of roof construction on the building next door and we have a very unsightly view. The room is dark. There are only three lights in the actual bedroom - one between the two beds on the nightstand, one a floor lamp and one on the desk. The room was very dark. Several times in the night we heard the people in the room next to us. The noise woke me up. We had stayed at the Radisson the first two nights and the beds were more comfortable there.
