Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino - إنكلاين فيليج, نيفادا

We got booked a room at the Lakeside Cottage. I don't recommend the Cottages if you have little kids. You have to take a narrow staircase to get to the room and there is an unsafe balcony. We tried to change to the hotel room's but there was no availability for two double beds. Very disappointed. My 2 year old got a black eye from a chair that was all wood. Not baby kid friendly at all.

Great hotel. Be sure and monitor road conditions. I almost got stuck an extra day due to blizzard

By the end of our trip I totally wanted to just stay at the hotel for a couple of days and relax and enjoy. And that's just what we did. The pool and hot tubs were excellent, as was the food at the lakefront restaurant and the entertain was fabulous! We loved sitting by the lake; brought our bottle of wine and just read a book for a while. I'm not a fan of casinos and quit smoking last year, so I stayed away from that, but it seemed like a nice casino. Having the option to grab a bite from the deli shop was such a welcomed aspect of the hotel. I love choosing my tea leaves by being able to smell them in a jar. We had a fabulous time and would love to return and spend a little more time with a ski day. Great place!

A wonderful hotel, near all convenient places and resorts in the North shore of the Lake. Main building with all the facilities, little cottages across the road by the lakeshore with gorgeous views. Very warm welcome and service at all times. Great restaurant (though a bit expensive) overlooking the lake. A place to remember forever.

Perhaps the Nicest, kindest, most attentive Staff at a hotel I have ever stayed at.... Beautiful Location and OUTSTANDING customer service. Best place to stay in Tahoe.

Love this location & have stayed here several times. Summer, Fall & Winter. We visit our daughter who lives in Tahoe and just love this hotel. This is the first time we've stayed over the holidays and it was a very busy time for Hyatt and not once did we have to wait long for our car at valet, to be served or seated at restaurants or help with the concierge. All hotel staff were friendly and more than happy to accommodate us when needed. We entertained twice at the hotel once in Cutthroat and once in the main restaurant with large groups and it was a wonderful experience. But the best is the Lone Eagle Restaurant, beautiful location with breathtaking views. A must even if just to have a drink. Will be back again!

The Pros: 1. The service at the hotel was excellent and very friendly. The valet, the bellhop, the front desk, and the concierge were all great. 2. We dined at Sierra Cafe and Cutthroat Saloon. They both had great food. Kids meals were cheap. 3. The hotel recently went through a renovation which was nicely done. 4. The heated pool can be used year round. Yes, even when it's 30-something outside, people were swimming. We were one of them. 5. There's a park across the street from the hotel. It has a huge play area for young kids. I think it would be really nice in the summertime. The hotel has a small play structure, too. And an arcade... 6. Not sure how it happened, but we didn't have to pay the resort fee or for valet parking. Cha-ching! 7. A free 10 min shuttle ride to Diamond Peak from the hotel. Cons: 1. There's a small casino within the hotel. They allow smoking there and the smoke drifts into the lobby area. 2. The housekeeping wasn't thorough. The first day, they didn't replace the coffee cups or the water cups. The second day, they didn't come until late afternoon (we were gone all morning and afternoon), so we ended up skipping housekeeping that day. 3. There's not a lot of stores/restaurants in that area. We ended up eating and buying stuff at the hotel most of the time. Expensive, but convenient. 4. The mixed drinks at the restaurants weren't that great... Stick with beer if you're going to drink. We would definitely stay at this Hyatt again. Maybe this coming summer since the hotel is right by the beach...

Nice hotel, conveniently located. But beware! They charge a significant "resort fee" (plus taxes) at checkout, that is very well hidden in the hotels.com reservation. Also, we asked for a fridge to keep our son's milk cool, and while they promptly brought it up saying there would not be any charged, they tried to charge us $15/day at checkout...

Very nice hotel, wonderful views, great service, dining options were great. Suite was very nice, pools were well attended even in December, very happy with the experience. Be prepared for garbage fees are 33% per night from Nevada for Govt. tax shortfall fee. And the 23% /night for "wireless and complementry?" valet was an ouch not expected. These fees exceeded 50% of the cost of the room per night. Nice place but remember, consider the extra costs not listed.

We've stayed here several times and all the rooms we've had featured great views. Just checking in is wonderful as you're greeted by a warm fire and complimentary glass of champagne. We like the casino here, because it is low-key and not nearly as noisy as the ones in Vegas. We'll be back often.

We booked our stay at the Hyatt online days in advance. We were staying only one and had no need for a suite so we chose a standard hotel room. We arrived at 4 p.m. We had chosen a king size bed when we booked our stay online but instead we were placed in room with 2 double size beds. We showed the bellman our booking print out with a king size bed and he told us they had none left. Also, the room was tiny with no ventilation. We woke in the middle of the night dehydrated and miserable. There was no AC and the windows cannot be opened. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Stay in a suite if you plan to stay at all.

Beautiful setting in Lake Tahoe. Everyone was very helpful. We had a peaceful relaxing stay, just what we were seeking.

Great location, ample free parking, comfortable room, great stay!!!

If you aren't interested in staying slope side, then this is the palce to be in Tahoe, especially the north side. Great food, service, location, staff, etc.

Lake Tahoe is a stunningly beautiful place and I am glad we invested a little extra to stay here. The service was superb from start to finish. The food was good and the decor of the hotel was also a feature. I only wish we could have spent more time there :)

Was a beautifu weekend and the hotel with the comfortable beds and view made life even better

I have stayed at some thin-walled older properties but never to this extent. We were horrified to hear every word of an hour long drunken escapade in the room next door, at 4am in the morning! Never again will i ever stay here.

I have stayed at this hotel a dozen times typically as a guest of someone's. This time was different. The Valet Guys were lazy the beach consierges you encounter on the beach were lazy, the barteners and severs at the Lone Eagle were short and unfriendly. I won't go back to the Hyatt until the people who work there actually pretend to enjoy their jobs. It is such an amazing facility that someone should evaluate the Industry Workers because it shows that they are not making the money they feel entitled to.

Easy to access, good service, would recommend to friends. Restaraunt staff courteous and friendly, good food.

The hotel pool and setting is amazing The key to staying is do not eat their food. The quality is surprisingly low! My children actually got physically sick!

The hotel is great, friendly people with excellent food. Even the buffet was outstanding, the staff works really hard to make sure the food is not old and are very savvy with customer service. The heated pool was terrific but there were no robes in our rooms, made it a cold transition for the kids from pool to room - yikes. There were two poor things, the beds were not comfortable (Marriott has the better beds) and the heat in the room was centrally controlled so we couldn't turn it down - it was too warm in the room. So sleeping was not so great, everything else was well taken care of.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt hotel near Incline Village. When we checked in, we had a slight mix up with our room keys and management immediately fixed our problem and even sent up a bottle of complementary wine for our inconvenience. On top of that, they also called to apologize for the issue and provided a breakfast meal the next morning. The staff is highly attentive to detail and we will most likely come back and stay at the Hyatt in the future.

Great value room for the location and facilities. The food in the saloon is basic but OK and the wine list could be better.

We had ana amazing weekend at this hotel. The staff was there for anything we needed. Upon arrival my boyfriend had surprised me with flowers in the room and they were beautiful. The pool/spa area was so nice, especially with the snow on the ground around us. So cool to be able to swin outside in a heated pool when its 30 degrees out!

This is our second time to this hotel and would go again. Across the stree is a great dinner spot (Lone Eagle Grill), and a fantastic firepit allowing beautiful view of incredible sunset over Lake Tahoe. They have 1/2 price wine by the glass for happy hour and food is good. Cutthroat Salon in the hotel is good too for more casual dining. Casino is OK, but small

This hotel has been around for a long time and looks it. It needs a major overhaul, especially the rooms judging from the condition of the room I was in. The room was poorly lit and didn't have a desk. There weren't enough clothes drawers either.

Definitely not worth the premium price. We could have got the same quality of room for half the price at the Truckee Hampton Inn or the Larkspur Landing. The Bathroom was very small, outdated, and we were not impressed with the cleanliness (stains on the walls). The beds were very uncomfortable, and the room was very small. On the bright side, the in-hotel restaurant was very good and reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant. In summary, unless you are looking to stay at a casino save your money, there are better options in the area that are more convenient to skiing and other attractions.

Hotel is great. Outdoor pool and spa open in winter is fantastic and there are loads of amenities and things to do for the kids. Lots of choices for food, great views, good beach winter or summer. Be prepared to pay though - all food options are really over priced (even considering it's a hotel). Also, we stayed 3 nights in winter and our hotel room was a sauna despite complaints. Casino is small (e.g. 1 roulette table).

I was expecting slightly tired rooms after reading some of the reviews here, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. It was just like the photos - very clean, and the rooms were updated. We stayed in the spa wing which I think might be new, so the rooms were lovely. We also really enjoyed using the hot tub and heated pool - a fantastically warm pool even in 30 something degree weather! We ate at the bar - food was really good. And they gave us a complimentary glass of bubbly upon check in! I thought that was a nice touch. If you stay here, definitely ask to be in the new wing rather than the older rooms.

The guest room was old and shabby. Beds were very uncomfortable. Room was not clean. View was of rooftop. Overall not up to date in way. Not what is expected at a Hyatt Regency . The manager agreed when he viewed the room and told us that this building had not been renovated for many years but was scheduled to be renovated next year. He was kind enough to change our room but the new room was not much better. The shower was broken and it was not useable etc.

The Hyatt Regency Resort was amazing. The location is perfect, away from the busy south shore. The service is exceptional from the valets, desk & bell staff, waitresses, beach - all were courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a first class Tahoe experience. If we ever go back, we'll definitely stay there!

This is one of the prettiest settings for a hotel I have seen lately: nestled amongst tall pines, walking distance to the shore of Lake Tahoe, with views of the Tahoe Rim all around. We loved the outdoor pool area (hint for those who want quiet at the pool: if the 'adult' pool chairs are full, go to the kiddie pool area. We found there were actually more kids, and noise, at the adult pool.) The pools are heated year round, and the hot tubs are large and relaxing. Lone Eagle is a MUST visit lounge and restaurant on the shore. Go on a music night to see the local singer/guitar player and sit by the outdoor fire pit while looking out at the lake. The resort is rated 4 Star and the rooms are a bit tired and in need of some upgrading, and not very soundproof (we were in the tower, 8th floor). However they were very comfortable and clean, and the beds were very comfortable.

Although the hotel has been around for years and showed a little wear and tear, it's a great place to stay. The hotel staff couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. We love Incline Village and would stay at the Hyatt again in an instant. Our breakfast waiter (Eric) in the cafe was especially wonderful and we'd make a visit back just to see him. North Shore Tahoe is quieter than South Shore but that's why we love it so much and the Hyatt met our needs perfectly. Sitting by the fire pit that looks out onto the Lake, is a great place to be in the evenings. We met some really nice people out there. The grounds are beautiful. This visit was during the winter - next visit is summer.
