Boston Marriott Long Wharf - بوسطن

Hotel was under construction so the lobby and hallways were sparse and unfinished. I got sheetrock dust on my clothes. But overall great location and great rooms.

The Boston Marriott Long Wharf is currently undergoing extensive renovations and unfortunately does not reflect the usual high standard expected from a Marriott. It's dusty and very noisy during the day. If I had known about the construction works in advance, I would never have booked this hotel.

Unfortunately we arrived on their busiest night ever. The hotel was fully booked. We were allocated a king bed room for the 5 of us. Yes one bed for 5 people. They did manage to find a rollaway so we had a little more space. The following day we were reallocated to a better room. We were not alone it was a problem for many guests. Do not call central resevations to confirm what you need call the hotel direct. The rest of the stay was enjoyable.

The Marriot Long Wharf in Boston was a very nice place to stay, even though it was under construction. We never heard any noise from it It's also within walking distance to area restaurants and attractions.

I gave this hotel a good rating because of the room and location of the hotel (near restaurants, tourist attractions). the only negative was the hotel is completing renovations. they didn't have robes in the room and usually when I stay in a hotel they robes for your use. I also didn't like the fact that you have to pay for wifi and a strange remote control, it was hard to switch from pay per view to regular tv and no listing of programs (info button). All in all for a 2 night stay I was pleased.

It would have been nice to know that it is currently under major renovations. parking is very expensive.

We love this hotel. Even under a very large remodel the place was sold out and for good reason the construction crew was working all around but they had every work area blocked off and you never felt out of place.

The hotel was undergoing major renovations. I was disappointed we were not notified till check in. The room was high priced which i expected if the hotel was not under construction. The bar was moved and didn't even have the tv station for the red sox game. Just wasn't up to the standards we enjoyed there in a previous stay or what we expected for a higher end hotel.

Beautiful Hotel right on the water and only a stones throw from all the festivities at Faniuel Hall. They staff was very friendly and available and the convenience can not be beat. We walked to the North End for an Italian dinner and took a Trolley Tour right outside the Hotel for a little Boston History. We were only disappointed we did not have time to visit the Acquarium right next door to the Hotel. The Room was very clean and comfortable and they brought chocolates at night to leave on our pillow which was a big hit with my son. would definetely recommend if you are in Boston.

This was easily the most disappointing stay I have had in Boston in nearly ten years… I am a world traveler who spends twenty weeks a year in hotels – I use hotels.com for my leisure travel and am usually very satisfied. The following is my experience in this particular hotel: There is massive construction that caused bad smells throughout the common area of the hotel; the room service was unresponsive and the food was cold when it did get there. I was woken up to jackhammering, and power tools as early as eight in the morning. These conditions were not explained to me prior to my stay. On two nights of my three-night-stay, I had to call down to the front desk complaining of loud running, screaming, horseplay, and people banging on doors (including mine) both at two, and three o’clock in the morning. It did not die down until well after three o’clock in the morning. No attempts to make-this-right were made by the hotel (or) the front desk at the time of the complaints. The room was incomplete and small for the price-range, and I expected more luxury from a property such as this -- it is below par for the price range and reputation. Call ahead and ask about construction; in the same basic area (of Boston) there are far nicer luxury hotels in which to stay – avoid this one. I need a vacation from this weekend mini-break!

We loved Marriott Long Wharf Boston, Beautiful hotel right on the water with plenty of views of the harbor. One block from Quincy Market and directly next to New England Aquarium. Loved It!

I'VE ALWAYS BEENPLEASED WITH THE MARRIOTT. IT IS CONVENIENTLY LOCATEDNEAR QUINCEY MARKET AND THE NORTH END, AS WELL AS NEAR THE THEATER DISTRICT. IT IS ALSO A GREAT PLACE FOR FAMILIES WITH YOUNG KIDS. THE ONLY NEGATIVE IN THE STAY IS THAT THE HOTEL IS UNDERGOING RENOVATIONS, SO THERE IS ACTIVE CONSTRUCTION GOING ON.

Very best place for boston downtown. Drive and park (which is very rare in boston), 1 minute walk from quincy market, wonderful marina view, Oceania rest. is top notch,

Stayed two nights with children aged 4 and 6. Convenient to museums and aquarium, and less pricey than some of the other (newer, flashier) hotels in the neighborhood. The kids loved the heated indoor pool, which was open early and late. Pool was well-attended but never too crowded. Hotel was undergoing renovations to the lobby and restaurant, but staff members were stationed at key points to direct guests, so the disruption was minimal. Noticed the sound of jackhammers (!!) when we checked in around noon, but it was completely inaudible in our room. Awoken by a fire alarm at 2:30 a.m. We all marched down the stairs and out into the cold winter night, but were immediately let back in through the front entrance. In the morning there was an apologetic note under the door; apparently some prankster pulled the alarm. Fair enough; it's good to know we could all get out in case of a real emergency. I was able to check in 4 hours before the scheduled time, which I appreciated. Our room was clean and pleasant. I guess it's much like any other Marriott: when we first entered the room, my 6-year-old said "It looks EXACTLY like Washington, D.C.!" Food in the hotel is good and kid-friendly (contruction apparently includes a new, fancier restaurant). Plenty of kid-friendly pubs in the adjacent neighborhood, but they tend to get more crowded and raucous after 5 p.m.

you can not beat the location of this hotel--right across from fanuel all, the aquarium and public transportation. the room was small and the bathroom was really small. but the location and the view were impeccable. the service of the hotel was fantastic. beds were comfortable and when i needed the room to be 'feather free' the housekeeping folks showed up within 15 minutes. Great service. The service at the restaurant in the hotel was subpar as was the dessert choices--better to take a quick walk to the north end!

Not only is the hotel very nicely maintained and offers plenty of amenities, but the service was amazing. The first room we had was a corner room and the A/C unit was right by the bed. It made a very loud noise every time it clicked on throughout the night. We inquired about it and within 30 minutes we were unpacked in our new room, which was larger and didn't have the same problem. Maintenance personnel who helped us really cared and were instrumental in getting us a room change. The gym is nice and offers plenty of cardio equipment and a nice selection of resistance equipment as well. They even have a sauna and jacuzzi. I feel that the per day charge for internet service in the room is too high when so many other hotels offer it complimentary. There were plenty of pillows on the bed, which is great but some were too fat and others too flat. Otherwise the sheets were really soft and the mattress was just right. The bellmen and the valet service were all very efficient and helpful too. I would definitely stay here again.

Arranged hotel stay via Hotels.com and a free breakfast was part of the deal but was charged by the hotel even though we told the waitress about the arrangement.

Great place to take the family. Walking distance to boat tours, whale watches & the New England Aquarium. Restaurant & room service. Chart house Restaurant just steps from the hotel. So much to do & see the kids won't be bored. Trolleys are a great fun way to see the historic sites. I will go there again!

Everyone was friendly, and courteous. The room was comfortable and clean. The location couldn't have been better.Dining was a pleasant experience,the server was attentve and pleasant. The food was quit good. Overall we enjoted our stay, and will return.

Close to everything that matters when you are visiting Boston: Aquarium, North End, Tours.

The staff are friendly, efficient, and eager to help you with anything. Everyone smiles & seems to enjoy their job. The facility is beautiful, but not stuffy. It is kid friendly, yet maintains an outstanding quality of food & service. I may never stay anywhere else when in Boston.

close to everything - clean - friendly - affordable - amazing!

I suggest you get the room with breakfast package. Its so easy and the food was great.

The hotel is your average mid level chain. But the location is excellent. Very easy to walk to the Freedom trail, Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market (directly across the street) and the North End for dinner. The concierge were very helpful in suggesting and making reservations for diner.

The location is great, right on the wharf and convenient to transportation and the aquarium. Most tours start right outside. Only problem, other than fresh seaford Boston food is not nearly as good as New York food.

hatte mit Frühstück gebucht, lohnt sich, sehr gutes ausreichendes Frühstücksbuffet. Neben an, Legal Seafood und Joes Steakhouse beides gute Restaurants. Hotel mit der U-Bahn ab Flughafen direkt zu erreichen, nur 2 Stationen. Haltestelle Aquarium.

L'hôtel est en cours de réfection. De nombreux services ne sont pas compris dans le prix. Les chambres (suites) sont petites pour le tarif (en comparaison avec New York). La situation de l'hôtel est très agréable (proche Aquarium, centre historique, aéroport).

Hotel being renovated spring 2011. Lobby, Lobby bar not available i this periode. A lot of construction workers in these areas. Nice brand new outdoor restaurant opens in may 2011. Excellent situation by the bay.
