The Long Wharf Marriott with its location next to the aquarium and Quincy Markets was the ideal site for a family get-a-way. From the first moment we arrived, the services were outstanding. The staff was friendly and helpful in every aspect of our stay. Our room was spacious and comfortably accommodated two adults and a child. There was something for everyone within walking distance. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

It was a short walk to the Common where my friend boarded the bus to Hopkinton and about 1.5 miles to the finish line. It was far enough away from the finish line that we could get in and out easily. The bar at the hotel was pleasant. There were plenty of eateries right near the hotel and the North End was a short walk. Great experience!

I got six rooms for 22 people for three nights each. The hotel can only search for the first name in each room. Even though I twice gave them a room list and all the names were listed on the appropriate room, they told people they were in the wrong hotel. Guests had to each call me when they arrived. I got woken up pretty much every hour all night the first night we arrived. Check in is a basic, critical function any hotel should be able to handle. The staff was, for the most part, very uncaring and unconcerned about the problem.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my family! We could walk to the aquarium, dinner, shops and the T within minutes. My son got sick while we were there and the staff was wonderful. I would recommend the hotel to any family visiting Boston!

We had a girls' weekend in Boston complete with a trip to the North End for a great meal followed by a musical in the theater district and we walked easily everywhere we went---the Marriott was a great location for us. The next day we walked to our Chinatown tour and then continued shopping in the afternoon after Dim Sum. Several of us enjoyed the fitness center. Our evening meal was just across the street from the hotel at Faneuil Hall---followed by more shopping. It was a great weekend and we never needed a cab or bus or even a "T."

Just had a great weekend in Boston.! Booked a room at the Marriot Long Wharf, because of its location, and being easy to get to where we wanted to go. I was very pleased with the hotel, and its staff, from the valet, door man, bell hop, front desk staff.. all around! I had booked a room with two double beds, and had asked for a rollway because we are a family of 5. Upon arrival, I asked if by chance there was a suite available, the young man at the desk "found" me a suite for a small upcharge, which was expected. The room was great. We landed on teh 6th floor and had a great view of the harbor, and the New England Aquarium.. Quincy Market was across the street. Couldnt get more accomodating. The Waterline Restaurant was delightful. We had dinner there late Friday after arriving. Service was great, VERY kid friendly menu and the food was excellent. They offered a great breakfast buffet as well. Onlets or eggs your way cooked to order, fruit was fresh..pretty much anything you could imagine. Loved the endless supply of fresh squeezed OJ and coffee! I read a couple of reviews on this hotel prior to my arrival, some good, some eh, but at the end of the day reserved any judgement until we stayed there ourselves. We would definitley go back, and for sure book our stay there. Thank you to the staff of the Marriot Long Wharf for making our stay that much better, and we will definitely be back!!

Overall we had a great stay! Our room was ready when we got there even though we were early, desk was friendly and helpful - made a good dinner recommendation as well as sold us our aquarium tickets at no extra charge and saved us an hour wait in line next door. Kids had a blast swimming in the pool and bell staff was very quick and helpful with all our luggage. Lastly, the room handled our family of four easily - plently of room for a roll away crib and we could still walk around the room.

Great location downtown for tourists and business persons. Hotel prices are competitive. Perfect for getting to Logan airport or the Aquarium. Fitness center good, but pool dominated by kids, hyperchlorinated, noisy. Restaurant/bar area small for size of hotel. Breakfast buffet at $22.95. Local eating better idea at Faneuil Hall or Joe's Bar & Grill.

Wife and I stayed here for a night on the town and had a great time! Great location, we walked back and forth between the north end and fanuiel hall with ease. We will be back!

The front desk staff was attentive and friendly as were the door and bus staff - they were available for assistance at 5:00 am when I had to leave for the airport. No problem getting the house computers when needed - there are 4 of them. The rooms were typical Marriott rooms, no problem. However, I do prefer coffee machines that brew a small pot of coffee rather than just a cup of coffee, which tends to get cold quickly.

They fail to mention the fee for parking at the hotel is huge per day, then everyone in hotel and city has hand out for tips.

Very nice hotel in a great location. If you are visiting Boston, this is an perfectly situated hotel. Ample parking, subway stop outside the front of the hotel, next to the aquarium, and PLENTY of food options.

We were so pleasantly surprised at the warmth and friendliness of the Marriott staff. Every person was upbeat and helpful and we received very personalized attention without expecting or requesting it. A great stay!

Clean! and great location. could walk everywhere and staff was very helpful. definitely staying there again.

Loved staying here it was awesome. The only thing I didn't like was a $44.00 charge to park your car.plus prices in the lounge were a bit overpriced for what they offered.

This hotel was excellent. It's quiet, clean and cozy. We could see the nice view of the harbor from the window. The sightseeing spots are near the hotel, so we can walk around. I wish I would stay one more night.

Overall the hotel was great, clean, convenient location to many attractions, however it was extremely noisy! Management was willing to do whatever necessary to rectify the problem once notified.

We have always tried to combine our anniversary with a Cancer Walk in Boston. This is the 4 th year we have done this. When I called to reconfirm our reservation -in talking I mentioned that it was our anniversary and gave the #. That night when we went back to our room- a tray was set out with a note,bottle of wine, brie, crackers and grapes. What a wonderful ,classy surprise it was. In addition, the hotel staff is great and the location in Boston can't be topped. Thanks for the memories !!

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. it's in the best location to see all the sights and historic areas in the city. service was very good, rooms, clean and well kept up and while not a five star, it came close and we'll definitely go back on our next trip to boston.

our departure was delayed 2 days due to weather. hotel very accomodating to meet our needs.

My wife and I had an extremely wonderful stay at the Boston Marriot. We have stayed at many fine hotels in Boston over the last 20 yrs and the Boston Marriot ranks near the very top!! Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Mike the Bellhop was terrific and had great suggestions for us. The front desk was very nice and efficient. When we asked for a fan for our room the wonderful woman from housekeeping brought it in 5 minutes. This is a very well run establishment and I would always suggest it first to our friends and family.

had issues at check-in as front desk indicated that deluxe room on hotels.com reservation did not exist; had to call hotels.com to get the breakfast included; then they placed us into room with construction on both sides (resolved next day). Construction is a current issue as limited elevator service and noise on 3rd floor and lobby. Location is great, nice indoor pool and outside deck, and would recommend hotel after construction is complete.

We had a very nice and comfortable stay. Everyone was very polite. From the valet to the bell hop to the maid. Their was a part that was under construction and we knew that before hand, but it was not a bother to us and had no effect on our stay. We spent only one night but it was with our Grandson and he loved it. Especially when the maid brought chocolates. If we ever go back to Boston I would not hesitate to book with the Wharf Hotel.

I have never had a bad experience at a Marriott Hotel, (not including their branches, e.g: courtyard, etc...) The Long Wharf is, by far, the best deal for Boston Harbor. Can't beat the prices. Only down fall is they're renovating, and it's a bit noisy.

great hotel in a perfect location

Nice hotel in a great location! Right by the aquarium, very close to the North End, close to Feniul Hall, lots of sites, a T stop right in front! They were doing some construction but it wasn't too much of an issue! Nice swimming ppol!

First of all, Boston hotels are expensive - you can't get around if you want to stay in the heart of Boston. This was no exception - but it wasn't the most expensive option either. That being said - the hotel was right on the harbor next to the Aquarium - across the street from Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market - a 3 minute walk to the North End and all the wonderful Italian restaurants (let us not forget the famous Mike's Pastry too!). We even walked up to Copley Square and all the Boylston Street shopping - it was only a little over a mile away. It is just amazing. Beds were comfortable, room was clean and classy.

I am glad we chosen this hotel. Its great location. With my grandchildren we could walk to everywhere around there.

We have stayed in this hotel twice and just love it. It's in walking distance to everything. We like to park our car and not see it again until it's time to check out. This location is perfect for that. We also have small children. They loved the pool and the park next door. Plan on staying at this hotel on every yearly visit we make to Boston.

Great location, hotel, clean and convienent. Their breakfast was a bit disappointing. But so many great food choices close by, i would just avoid eating there. Best pillows ever !!
