This location seemed about average for a Comfort Inn - clean and comfortable but not especially upscale. Our room was very spacious and well-apportioned. The staff here is most pleasant and helpful, especially Anna, the Assistant Manager. She made our stay a special delight and seemed ready to do whatever she could to make any guest's time here a most enjoyable one.

If you like extremely hard bed this is the place. Other wise great stay

Very nice hotel. Rooms are recently remodeled. Service was excellent. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Salida and the Comfort Inn is much better (and also cheaper).

We were very impressed with the service of the Salida Comfort Inn. The staff was very attentive. We also very much appreciated the fact that the pool and hot tub were saline treated versus chlorinated. It makes all the difference in how your skin feels. I would drfinitely recommend this hotel for families or anyone skiing at Monarch. The hot tub was a welcome relief after a hard day os snowboarding.

Great hotel, good location, friendly staff. The only thing is my wife found the bed to be uncomfortable and I did notice it is rather firm. :)

The pool was great .... My family had a great time the employee were great.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn for Christmas on the Mountain and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The accomodations were good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely look to stay there next time I am in town and would reccomend this establishment to any one else looking to stay in Salida.

I travel the world~ and this particular Comfort Inn has, by far, the friendliest staff ever! They were genuinely nice people without trying to be nice. The food was fresh and fairly delicious. The blankets and beds looked pretty new~ if not new, they were at least well taken care of.

Wonderful time

Friendly staff, nice room and Quincys down the road selling filet mignon 15oz for $10.99. Couldnt have asked for a better end after a long days driving.

The hotel was easy to find, centrally located and there was an EXCELLENT family run Restaurant 4 blocks up the street. Breakfast at the hotel was good and the only glitch was that the staff didn't know how to handle my Choice inns frequent guest number because I'm from Canada and not the US.

Great hotel, friendly staff

It is a very unwelcoming experience to have the keys stop functioning in the middle of a pre-paid stay. If I have paid for three days, the keys better work all three days. Many hotels fail in this effort, and they present various excuses to the guests like getting the cards wet will make them not work in the locks. Whatever the excuse, it is still an unnecessary inconvenience that a paying guest should not experience.

front desk very helpful, beds were wonderful, kitchen staff very friendly, enjoyed every minute. Thank you all.

Had a hard time getting checked in. Couldn't find our reservations, had 3 rooms reserved. Had to go get my confirmation printout. Then they asked me to step aside while they checked in 3 other groups. After a while they finaly found the reservations. In addition, the microwave was locked up at night so my daughter was unable to warm up the baby formula.

This Comfort Inn was nicely maintained, in a convenient location to skiing and eating, and had very friendly staff. The pool was a bit dirty, and the pump in the spa was broken (but was on order so should be fixed soon), but my kids still stayed in there for 3+ hours each day. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Overall, this is a good value for the price.

The staff went above and beyond in their service. Best hotel experience we've had in awhile.

My room was as expected--no complaints. I would stay there again.

So thorough about everything. Had menus of all the local restaurants. Very helpful.

Good motel.

The staff here was some of the friendliest of all chain hotels around. They were over-nice about everything, and so helpful. Decent breakfast, not more then expected, comfortable, a good stay

The staff was very very friendly and helped us in all way they could. Breakfast was more than we expected. And again the staff was superb. The stay was a full success. If you like mini golf you have to play at the Rochy Mountain Mini Golf on Rainbow Blvd. It was the best course I have ever played throughout Europe and the US!!!

The staff was extremally courteous and helpful-offered to carry in our luggage, got us ice and very attentive. Only negatives- our room faced the highway, so needed to turn on the fan for "white noise" and the hot tub was too hot (we are use to hot tubs and this was over the normal temp). Otherwise everything was very clean and the breakfast had a nice selection of food.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and met our needs. The breakfast, included in the room fee, was very good and saved us time and cost of finding a restaruant.

We went skiing at Monarch.

very close to all kinds of things to do. skiing, hot springs, snow mobiles, fishing, hunting, can't even name all the things to do there, very reasonable prices

I love this hotel! The staff was so accomendating. There were several families that stayed here after a basketball game so our teenagers could go skiing the next day. All of the kids were in the breakfast room playing cards and socializing. It was very nice that they didn't make the kids go back to their rooms or tell them to be quite, instead they welcomed them and gave them hot chocolate. I will definetly stay here again!

Generally have had good experience w/ Comfort Inns, but this one had thin walls, with lots of noise from neighboring rooms.

Very clean comfortable room. The pool and hot tub were very nice.

the hotel is located in a convenient spot right on the main road. plenty of restaurants close by and just a short drive to the histori part of town. the room was a little larger than usual and clean. the bed was comfortable and I slept well. breakfast was the usual affair, waffles, cereal and juice.

Heel goed gelegen, kalm en grote comfortabele kamers. Wij verbleven 3 nachten, een dag was de kamer niet schoongemaakt! Dat is voor mij persoonlijk HEEL erg. Klacht werd beleefd aangenomen en nieuwe badhanddoeken werden bezorgd.
