What an awesome one night stay. We had late flight so checked in around 10pm. Every staff person we encountered were very kind and professional. We were greeted with smiles by all. This place is spotless and chic. Right across the street from Bayside, where we joined in fun after a Miami Heat win. Then to nice lounge for salsa dancing. Back to our well appointed room with the most comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. I will definitely be returning with friends!!!!

*** I checked the block for a city view-- did not get one...make sure if you pay for city view to call ahead and confirm a city view! Second bathroom was very small other than that great location and a very comfortable bed

This hotel is in walking distance to the AA Arena and Bayfront Park. It is newly renovated, modern decor - love it. It was hard to find, there is no sign visible from the road. There was a tall, slender window in the room, the view was not great. Bed was cozy. Bathroom is average size. There is no parking lot for this hotel, only valet - $25 or public parking garages. The restaurant in the lobby is excellent, great staff and food. Wish it had a fridge, microwave, self parking, and complimentary breakfast, but I would stay there again.

Comfortable bed in a upscale hotel Located close to shops and restaurants in downtown Miami.It was convenient to the cruise ships and airport.

Hotel was great!Like what they did to the property., I have stayed at that lovation before, it is a big improvement from what it was before.

We decided to stay here the night before our cruise left. It was a $6 cab ride to the port, and we had no issues getting a cab right outside the hotel. Our first room had no A/C. It was miserable! So they finally switched us to a much larger and more comfortable room. The bed was very comfortable; bathrooms are TINY. You could also hear everything going on in the next room.... Would not recommend for Miami vacation, but just fine for one night before a cruise.

great hotel with great location right across from Bayside Marketplace. friendly professional staff. only odd thing was the narrow window on the very right of one wall. otherwise clean room, seems like it was recently renovated.

They thought of EVERYTHING! Cozy room, beautiful view, the room was full of surprises. From the name brand products in the bathroom, to the "touch-to-light" lamp on the desk. SO many great amenities.The room was spacious. The staff was kind, and friendly. I politely asked for a room with a nice view, and the front desk guy put us in the "room with the best view in the hotel." He wasn't lying! It was great. We'll surely stay there again.

Hotel bar and staff was friendly and professional. My only gripe was that the room was ridiculously small. Pictures that I was shown did not look like what it actually was. City view? My view was of a back alley...

Parking sucked, blood stains on our sheets, vent in bathroom leaked water all night all over our toiletries.

Employees were rude

Location is great for downtown business and those interested in catching a Heat game and/or visiting Bayside. The food at the attached restaurant was great and the Waite staff and bar tender were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was sub-par, for example the ice bucket was not emptied, it sat for 2 days with water, no soap was left, etc. , basically the important little things that are indicative of a lack of attention to detail from housekeeping. The newly renovated lobby, while small, was classy and well appointed. The rooms and bathrooms are very small, reminiscent of typical Eupropean Hotel rooms.

This hotel recently renovated so freshly painted and clean with modern fittings. the bathroom is tiny so if you want one with space then this isn't for you however if you consider your hotel as a place to sleep and freshen up then this one is ideal location opposite Marina. plenty of choices for eating at Marina and surrounding areas. Hotel staff all friendly and helpful. we would definitely consider using it again although thought we could walk to Dodge Island where cruise ships leave from but you do need to catch a taxi or there's a transit bus that goes around every 30minutes.

a/c worked off motion detector so it would shut off when you were sleeping and you would have to move to get it to go back on.

I think that the bottom part of the entrance door is to high from the floor causing A/C cool air to escape. Hope the phone problem is taken care off as it is part of an an important tool in the unit. Besides that the unit was great and the view was excellent . I won't hesitate to book your room on my next trip. Please include a coffee pot with tea bags as I appreciate a cup of hot tea in the morning before I go out.

Good vibe to the hotel and well located in downtown and on the waterfront. Service was excellent from some and average from others. The rooms were nice and not too large but the bathroom was quite small. The best thing about the hotel was the "gastro pub" downstairs with craft beers and excellent food.

room was very nice, if small and not well suited to doing any desk work. Room HVAC was VERY noisy and seemed to turn on every few minutes. My room was near the ice machine and since it was used frequently, it was pretty noisy as well. The positives: comfy bed, nice decor. The negatives: noise, no tissues or luggage stand in room. very limited counter space in bathroom area.

We stayed in b2 Miami Downtown for one night before sailing on a cruise. Overall it's not bad for the price. Perfect for overnight stay. Great location. Rooms are renovated and are very clean. There are a couple of things, however, that we didn't like. 1. The AC in the room was VERY loud and blew air like crazy. My wife even asked me to turn it off before going to sleep. 2. The elevators are tiny. Other than that it's okay.

This hotel doesnt have fancy amenities, just the essential things, but its very clean, the customer service is great and the beds are awesome...free internet and cable are also a good thing. I'll come back for sure.

This hotel is ok for one night stays if you are getting on the ship the next day for your cruise. The location is convenient to the port, restaurants are in the area but the hotel itself is old and in need of upgrades. But for one night it was worth the price.

The hotel is very old, and in need of a major renovation. The staff is extremely helpful and the area is perfect for those attending any American Airlines Arena function. I stayed for business, but I dont think I would stay again due to the conditions of the hotel. Again, you cant beat the excellent customer service from the staff!

Met very basics. Room small and especially the bathroom. Blanket on bed could use a much needed replacement. It was clean. Located close to everything we were there to attend.

the hotel was old and run down we had 1 towel a each no wash cloths. had to go to cvs drugstore for a sandwich which they had no mustard or anything for the sanwich

We got on Hotels.com and found this hotel because it was close to the port where are ship was sailing from. The picture that was on there site looked ok! even though it said it was rated a 1 star hotel we wanted to be close to the port, but to our disbelief it was the worst hotel I have ever been to. It was so nasty that we didn't even stay for five minutes. This hotel should be rated a minus 5 star and should be closed down.

I chose this hotel due to its convenient location, a couple of blocks to the starting line of the Miami Marathon, it does not have a restaurant or sells any food, the linen in the rooms are in bad shape so the matresses, the staff is friendly. Definetely it is a wise election if your stay it is not going to be long, for a couple of days it is just tolerable

saw the review so i knew what i was getting into... we had a problem with the a/c. but the desk got someone up to our room right away and they changed our room. unfortunately.. this bathroom was the size of a tiny closet. it's a good thing we are very small. it's a huge... old hotel.. not being well maintained.. that said.. the room WAS very clean.... and it was in a super great location.

Attended the j BUFFETT concert at the AAA Center - hotel is close to arena and to Bayside Mall. Clean and safe hotel.

Found a dead lizard on the floor of the room. If they had vacuumed, they would have found it, right? There was no hot water in the morning (huh?) The mattress was like a slab of concrete and it was not "queen" sized - it was Queen Jr at best. The noise level from the street (I was on the 14th floor!) was remarkably loud. Got almost no sleep and will NEVER go back.

this hotel should not be listed here. I can not find one good thing about this place. this place is BAD.

After reading the reviews i wasn't expecting much. I only chose it because the other that were closer to Brickell were booked. The cleanliness surprised me, but still for the rate not having internet in the room is unacceptable.

good place to throw your bags while waiting for your cruise, but dont expect much

This hotel is located next to the port, food and shopping. If you need an overnight stay prior to a cruise and you do not care about anything but a hot shower and bed this is for you. The shuttle to the port cost $6 per person the day of the cruise and the people were friendly. You can overlook the condition of the hotel for fair nightly cost.

Didnt bother to tell me parking was only for compact cars and i have an suv, so had to park in an open lot and go feed meter every couple of hours, hotel staff was rude and not helpfull at all, room smelled so bad it was hard not to throw up when you walk in, couldn't pay me to stay there again!

First room smelled really bad so we had to request another room. Also said continential breakfast but it wasn't open. Probably would stay again if maintenance was kept up and clean it up a little better.

I LIKE TO STAY IN MY FUTURE

This place is old and needs a lot of maintenance and updating. The mattresses are concave and need replacing. The water pressure in the bathroom was awful. You couldn't shower and the tub would not plug up. I flushed the toilet and it continued to flush about 50 more times on its own. The furniture it very old and in awful condition. I would never recend this place to anyone.

I wish I had read the other reviews about this hotel before booking it. It was very close to the port. This was the only positive thing. It was not maintained, they claimed to have wifi but we could never get on, and the beds were awful. The shower had two temperatures, really hot and scalding hot. They also gave someone else the same room. At least the locks worked. Once upon a time this hotel was beautiful, but that was a very long time ago. I would never stay here again.

This hotel was one of the most uncomfortable experiences of my life. I had the feeling of being in a hotel wher prostitues bring there Johns for sex. The shower had a clogged spout and the tub leaked water. The sink was clogged and the hair dryer was broken. The bed was so hard that you could not sleep comfortably. The only good thing I could say was the view was beautiful and the staff was at least efficient. The hotel may of been nice like the internet says in its day. That was long ago and many visitors have worn it into a miserable stay for cruisers and vacationers.

The hotel was so BAD,BAD,BAD, they need a bigger sign for people to see it, I had to ask several times for the hotel because the sign is to little. The hotel was without A/C; the air condition was broke down, the room windows are seal so you can't even open up the windows for fresh air, the mattress was so hard. They had to have the lobby door open for air to get in. The badroom so litlle like a closet size with shower, toilet and sink right next to the other. It was a NIGHTMARE, a WASTE of MONEY, TERRIBLE, NEVER aGAIN!!!!!!!NO,NO,NO,NO,CHEAP,CHEAP,CHEAP,NEVER!!!!

when I arrived to check in the AC in the whole building was broke.... I was with my 9 month old. this was horrible... the beds were super duper hard..it felt like i was sleeping on box springs...and there was no cable on the tv. ..the tv was a 19" the room was clear but had a odor of fritos ..not sure if it was due to no air or what... get a better bed, cable tv and some ac and i would return.. the staff was great. location awesome. i was only there one night.. to much money for the room.

Hotel is a privately owned hotel that is not maintained well at all. It looks like it was nice at one tome but not.any more. The room had towrn carpets, no bed spreads and the tub was painted and the paint was peeling away. The only good thing is the shower water was very hot and they clean the room with bleach. I will not stay here again....

The location is very convenient. The room we lived had no open window, so we have to rely on the air-conditioner. No wifi in the room. Otherwise it's quite good.
