This hotel recently renovated so freshly painted and clean with modern fittings. the bathroom is tiny so if you want one with space then this isn't for you however if you consider your hotel as a place to sleep and freshen up then this one is ideal location opposite Marina. plenty of choices for eating at Marina and surrounding areas. Hotel staff all friendly and helpful. we would definitely consider using it again although thought we could walk to Dodge Island where cruise ships leave from but you do need to catch a taxi or there's a transit bus that goes around every 30minutes.

a/c worked off motion detector so it would shut off when you were sleeping and you would have to move to get it to go back on.

I think that the bottom part of the entrance door is to high from the floor causing A/C cool air to escape. Hope the phone problem is taken care off as it is part of an an important tool in the unit. Besides that the unit was great and the view was excellent . I won't hesitate to book your room on my next trip. Please include a coffee pot with tea bags as I appreciate a cup of hot tea in the morning before I go out.

Good vibe to the hotel and well located in downtown and on the waterfront. Service was excellent from some and average from others. The rooms were nice and not too large but the bathroom was quite small. The best thing about the hotel was the "gastro pub" downstairs with craft beers and excellent food.

room was very nice, if small and not well suited to doing any desk work. Room HVAC was VERY noisy and seemed to turn on every few minutes. My room was near the ice machine and since it was used frequently, it was pretty noisy as well. The positives: comfy bed, nice decor. The negatives: noise, no tissues or luggage stand in room. very limited counter space in bathroom area.

We stayed in b2 Miami Downtown for one night before sailing on a cruise. Overall it's not bad for the price. Perfect for overnight stay. Great location. Rooms are renovated and are very clean. There are a couple of things, however, that we didn't like. 1. The AC in the room was VERY loud and blew air like crazy. My wife even asked me to turn it off before going to sleep. 2. The elevators are tiny. Other than that it's okay.

This hotel doesnt have fancy amenities, just the essential things, but its very clean, the customer service is great and the beds are awesome...free internet and cable are also a good thing. I'll come back for sure.

The B2 is overall a wonderful hotel my family and I enjoyed it so much that we plan to vacation here every year. In addition the Biscayne Tavern had some great food selection and we ordered room service every night. Thanks for the wonderful experience hope to vacation there soon

Hotel was "Just lovely"...Once all renovations are complete it will be just as nice as the fort Lauderdale location.. will definitely stay again

The room was very small and the bathroom was so small you cant turn around in it. The elevators were awful, took 30 minutes to get from the 5th floor to the lobby.

This is actually a nice little place amonst larger hotels in the area. The only problems we encountered were that there is no address numbers nor name on the building and as a result I pssed the hotel twice looking for it. The hotel is in a great location esp if you're going on a cruise with the port several blocks away. The staff is great and went out of there way to help us with anything we needed!! The price this place is not bad at all.

well the place was not well put together. the front door was closed and wouldn't open so i had to go to the side door near valet, where a lot of people where standing near the door to get out of the rain, and the door was so heavy to open that i hurt my hand. i had to wait over 5 minutes for a hotel to get up stairs, and when i was leaving i waited 10 min for the elevator, that was full. then had to wait another 5 minutes. My room was not clean, it had some dirt in the corner near the wall, The air condition was so loud that we could barely sleep during the night. There was no parking. I had to drive around to find parking and ended up having to pay 22$ for parking. I wouldn't go again!

Other reviews complained about the renovations however it didn't bother me during this stay. The hotel seemed to have been about 90% complete with renovations when we arrived. The outside was the only thing really missing anything as there wasn't really any signage for the hotel. They informed us that the name changed from "Continental Bayside" to "B2 Miami Downtown" that week. The room was a King Bed with a City View. It was smaller than I expected and the view was obstructed by another building (we were on the 14th floor). The bed was extremely comfortable and made me want to sleep in every day. The bathroom was extremely small but was designed very well. I wish I could've chosen a bigger room but we did check in extremely early (10am vs the normal 4pm time). Parking is scarce and they recommend using the Valet service which can be charged to your room. Overall, you pay for what you get. If you're on a budget and want to be in a clean and comfortable room, then this is for you. I would definitely stay here again.

the outside of the hotel is nothing like the inside.its renovated and new. But the hotel was somewhat hard to find, just look out for a cvs on the corner to find it. Be prepared to pay for parking because they have none for their hotel guest. I stayed there 2 nights and i had to pay $50 in total for valet. Everything is unorganized. The elevators suck, they only have two for 16 story building !so i pretty much had to wait years for a lift down ,sometimes i ended up taking the stairs.room services was horrible they never cleaned our room, they only came when it was around the time for me to check out. On the bright side the rooms are beautiful and clean,beds are comfy, and you have a great view of Miami.

The Hotel will be a very nice hotel when the renovations are completed. We had a difficult time locating the hotel since there was no sign on the outside of the hotel or inside! We were on motorcycles also and had difficulty finding a lot that would accept the bikes. We had to pay extra for parking. They had no breakfast included but had a buffet for $14.99 which we thought was expensive. The employees were very nice and helpful. The price was reasonable especially for Miami.

I neverrrrrrr comment and write a review and I stay at the best of the best hotels but reading the review before I book this hotel I didn't know what to expect so I went and found out for myself I love this place it was more than I expected for 103 a night even with them doing work on the hotel .only thing is the rooms are tight space but I would prefer this hotel as much as I can before the rates go up.. Nice location

Although undergoing renovations, the hotel was great! Our room was NEW!! Would definitely stay here again!

I loved the location of this hotel. It was close to our main destination - Bayfront Park, and it was also walking distance from shopping. The whole staff and especially the restaurant staff are extremely accommodating! I would definitely stay here again. There were parts of the hotel that were still being renovated, but our room was already renovated, and it was beautiful.

Our stay at the Bayside was very good. They are renovating the hotel right now, so it was dusty and loud downstairs in the lobby. But our room was really clean and without any dust. The rooms already got finished and are new and really modern. The service was good. The only thing we had to find a parking lot close to the hotel.

It was convenient to stay in the hotel because it was right across the street from the Ultra concert. The room was clean. The only problem with the hotel was that we got locked out for an hour or so late at night.

IT WAS HORRIBLE,HOTEL WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION,,AND OF COURSE I WAS THE LAST TO KNOW,DIDNT EVEN HAVE A ICE BUCKET OR A GLASS TO GET WATER,,NEVER GOING BACK,,

terrible hotel. do not stay. contruction, hassle to check in, got the run around.

The hotel is under renovation, the rooms are not completely done, no shower curtain, the water coming out, no soap holder, no hanger stick in closet, no iron.

Was looking for a hotel that was close to the port of Miami for the night before my cruise. This hotel was convenient for such a reason but that was it. When my shuttle driver dropped me off he wished me good luck as the hotel had no facade at the time and there was construction EVERYWHERE! When I walked into the lobby it was under construction and while I was waiting to check in kept having to move out of the way of the workers. The elevators, 2 very small ones, were almost always occupied by workers or one was out of service.Our room was very nice however quite small. I could literally wash my hands while I was sitting on the toilet. In addition to all of that while I was attempting to take a nap at 5 pm they decided to test the fire alarms without prior warning. Im not sure if I would recommend this hotel during the renovations however I can see potential in it being a fabulous hotel once its completed.

Once renovations are complete , should be a nice place to stay ,,, only problem is no parking

This hotel is ok for one night stays if you are getting on the ship the next day for your cruise. The location is convenient to the port, restaurants are in the area but the hotel itself is old and in need of upgrades. But for one night it was worth the price.

The hotel is very old, and in need of a major renovation. The staff is extremely helpful and the area is perfect for those attending any American Airlines Arena function. I stayed for business, but I dont think I would stay again due to the conditions of the hotel. Again, you cant beat the excellent customer service from the staff!

Met very basics. Room small and especially the bathroom. Blanket on bed could use a much needed replacement. It was clean. Located close to everything we were there to attend.

the hotel was old and run down we had 1 towel a each no wash cloths. had to go to cvs drugstore for a sandwich which they had no mustard or anything for the sanwich

We got on Hotels.com and found this hotel because it was close to the port where are ship was sailing from. The picture that was on there site looked ok! even though it said it was rated a 1 star hotel we wanted to be close to the port, but to our disbelief it was the worst hotel I have ever been to. It was so nasty that we didn't even stay for five minutes. This hotel should be rated a minus 5 star and should be closed down.

I chose this hotel due to its convenient location, a couple of blocks to the starting line of the Miami Marathon, it does not have a restaurant or sells any food, the linen in the rooms are in bad shape so the matresses, the staff is friendly. Definetely it is a wise election if your stay it is not going to be long, for a couple of days it is just tolerable

saw the review so i knew what i was getting into... we had a problem with the a/c. but the desk got someone up to our room right away and they changed our room. unfortunately.. this bathroom was the size of a tiny closet. it's a good thing we are very small. it's a huge... old hotel.. not being well maintained.. that said.. the room WAS very clean.... and it was in a super great location.

Attended the j BUFFETT concert at the AAA Center - hotel is close to arena and to Bayside Mall. Clean and safe hotel.

Found a dead lizard on the floor of the room. If they had vacuumed, they would have found it, right? There was no hot water in the morning (huh?) The mattress was like a slab of concrete and it was not "queen" sized - it was Queen Jr at best. The noise level from the street (I was on the 14th floor!) was remarkably loud. Got almost no sleep and will NEVER go back.

this hotel should not be listed here. I can not find one good thing about this place. this place is BAD.

After reading the reviews i wasn't expecting much. I only chose it because the other that were closer to Brickell were booked. The cleanliness surprised me, but still for the rate not having internet in the room is unacceptable.

good place to throw your bags while waiting for your cruise, but dont expect much

This hotel is located next to the port, food and shopping. If you need an overnight stay prior to a cruise and you do not care about anything but a hot shower and bed this is for you. The shuttle to the port cost $6 per person the day of the cruise and the people were friendly. You can overlook the condition of the hotel for fair nightly cost.

Didnt bother to tell me parking was only for compact cars and i have an suv, so had to park in an open lot and go feed meter every couple of hours, hotel staff was rude and not helpfull at all, room smelled so bad it was hard not to throw up when you walk in, couldn't pay me to stay there again!

First room smelled really bad so we had to request another room. Also said continential breakfast but it wasn't open. Probably would stay again if maintenance was kept up and clean it up a little better.

I LIKE TO STAY IN MY FUTURE

This place is old and needs a lot of maintenance and updating. The mattresses are concave and need replacing. The water pressure in the bathroom was awful. You couldn't shower and the tub would not plug up. I flushed the toilet and it continued to flush about 50 more times on its own. The furniture it very old and in awful condition. I would never recend this place to anyone.
