The hotel is nice, clean and comfortable. The location is not a residential area, but it's nice.

We arrived the night of the October snowstorm with a reservation. The hotel was swamped with local residents looking for rooms due to the power outage, and the staff treated everyone with courtesy and patience. When the hotel lost power, all hands were on deck making the guests feel well-cared for, passing out cold food, answering concerns, serving a cold breakfast the next morning. In addition to this Marriott being a beautiful hotel, its service under stressful conditions was exemplary. We will be back.

Wonderful service and excellent amenities. I never expected to find an outdoor as well as indoor pool! The restaurant food was quite good. Ambience great. I unequivocally would recommend this Marriott to anyone.

THIS IS OUR 2ND STAY AT THIS MARRIOT. BOTH TIMES PERFECT. WILL RETURN EVERY YEAR AS LONG AS OUR DAUGHTER IS A STUDENT AT HARTFORD. CLEAN, FRIENDLY, ACCOMODATING STAFF. TWICE A YEAR WE VISIT OUR DAUGHTER AT COLLEGE.THIS IS LITTLE FURTHER THAN OTHER HOTELS, BUT WORTH IT.

Hotel was great.. very nice.. bed was a little soft....but the one thing that annoys me most and what will send me elsewhere... TV... I have to pay for it, that is wrong!!!! (Im talking regular TV not Movies... ) I like to just have a little noise otherwise you will here people talking in the courtyard.

Quiet out of norm location but was clean and corporate like style. Would recommendation and re-use for future travels.

Everything you want for an overnight business stay. Clean & well maintained hotel and room, good service, plenty of convenient outlets to recharge all of your electronics. When I'm in that part of Connecticut again, I'll be back.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the Hartford Marriot Farmington is given that it is located in a wooded business park just off I-84. The staff were superb-kudos to housekeeping in particular. My only complaint is given that there is a up-charge for internet access it would be nice if my room had had wireless access. Despite the business focus the hotel was family friendly, if a iittle pricey. They have two nice pools, one inside and one outside. Food was good as well, but those with larger families might need to hop on I-84 or Rt 6 for less expensive dining.

Wonderful place to stay,I really love these hotels!!

Very welcoming, polite staff. Clean and comfortable rooms and a great restaurant. Would stay here again!

Great facilities and very pleasant staff

Upon use of the shower, it was apparent that it had not been cleaned sufficiently, i.e. hair in tub and grout/caulking was dirty. Furthermore, showerhead was leaking at joint and anti-scald valve did not function properly thus sending out scalding water and valve was slow to respond. While I did not get burned, it could have been a serious issue for another guest or child. I reported all concerns to the General Manager to look into and hopefully resolve which he said he would take care of. Also, my room was right next to the ice machine which made it difficult to sleep. Considering I have given this hotel quite a bit of business over the last few years, I was somehwat surprised that no offer was made by him to offer some kind of credit other than he said to contact him on my next stay. I may try this hotel once more, but will probably make a different choice in the future as this hotel in my opinion from a maintenance and quality standpoint does not live up to the Marriott reputation.

Excellent facility and service, a bit remote from shopping.

The hotel and room seemed very nice, but the remote did not work. Someone did replaced it. The bathroom did not have any bath towels, only hand towels. When I called housekeeping to ask if a 12 by 18 inch towel was there version of a bath towel the person on the other end said yes and brought no new towels to the room. At check out I brought the hand towel to the front desk and they apologized for the lack of proper towels. Otherwise, all was fine.

Great advice where the place has the history that we must see sight and visit nearest the museum, Mark Twain, the Capitol and other interesting places.

The hotel is set back at a dead end street, and the surronding neighborhood is divisions of United Technology, very well maintained. Very quiet, with no surrounding traffic. The Hotel is older, but the rooms have been upgraded to 5 star standards, i.e. 100% cotton beading, comforters, extra large flat pannel TV's etc. The beds are really nice. The staff is excellent and helpfull. One thing I thought was outdated was charging for internet service. Come on, its 2010, that should be free as far as I'm concerned. The Marriot chain is one of the few hotels that still charge for internet service, and they are pround of it as well.

This hotel is conveniently located near a highway. we traveled from maryland to boston several times and stayed on the road overnight. we found this hotel being the best so far. room was clean and neat. front desk awesome.

Overall the hotel was very nice. It was right off the highway but in a quiet area. The morning breakfast was fabulous and Starbucks is available all day. We found the dinner to be very expensive and the service not up to par. We waited quite a while for our cocktails and when they finally arrived my husband got a different beer from the one he had ordered. We paid $22.00 for a bottle of wine that was days away from being vinegar. We would have prefered a more American type choice of foods as opposed to Suishi and heavily seasoned food. We were upgraded to the Concierge wing. The Concierge wing best serves buisness travelers rather than families. There weren't any Concierge services over the weekend and we had quite a walk to get into the main hotel with the pools and restaurant. It took us at least ten minutes and two elevators later before we arrived in the main builiding. While the cleanliness of the hotel was very good, housekeeping was still on our floor at six o'clock in the evening. We ordered room service and there was a 20 percent gratuity which was added to our bill. We did not think that type of gratuity was appropriate especially when my daughters p&b sandwich was left out. We then had to call twice before it arrived. It is a nice hotel in a convienent location however the small things need to be reveiwed by the hotel management. This hotel is clearly short of staff and customers are "upgraded" to Concierge over the weekend because it is so out of the way and in retrospect we should have asked for a better room. I would give it three stars.

The hotel was great. It was clean and everyone was polite. My only suggestion would be for anyone using their pools, bring your own towels. The towels they provided were baby sized.

My stay was great! However, was told when making reservation that it was a full service hotel and refrigerators were available, so I requested one. Was told when arrived in room that none were available. Otherwise, everything was to my liking. Had a great time watching the Little League Regionals!

This is a very nice hotel. Located very close to I 84 in Farmington CT. The hotel has a beautiful pool area with both indoor and outdoor pools and a nice jacuzzi. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The staff seemed genuinely glad to have us there as guests. The room itself seemed well maintained and clean. My only complaint would be the air in the room smelled a little musty.

I had a small problem with my charges. They promptly corrected the problem. This hotel is inside an office park. My only real annoyance was the soda vending machines were not working properly. I lost two dollars in the swimming pool vending machine. I was too lazy to ask for my money back. And the soda vending machine on my floor gave me diet pepsi when I pushed the Mountain Dew button

Nice hotel, comfortable beds, very helpful staff and restaurant food was excellent, expensive but excellent!

It is very convenient to the highway and was close to all that we wanted to do.

Hotel is hidden (at the end of the street). Directions to hotel could be better. The bed I slept in was like hammock (ledges I had to climb every time I turned).

Very convenient to I-84 and, therefore, to the Hartford area without being in city. The hotel is somewhat isolated in an office park but it is clean, safe and a good value.

The lobby, the restaurant, the food, the 2 pools, the jacuzzi, the bar, the amazing room and bathroom, the guest robe, the staff, the private room balcony and more MAKE THIS AN INCREDIBLE PLACE TO STAY FOR THIS KIND OF PRICE!!!!!! YOU WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
