InterContinental New York Barclay - نيويورك

The services provided to us during our weeks stay at the Continental were excellent in all respects including handling a problem which was outside the hotels control.

great suite for families with two kids. the sofa bed is large and ok for kids. the double beds in the bedroom are meant for one person.

The hotel room was fine, just fine. The food and service in the hotel restaurant was poor. If traveling and need a reasonably priced and comfortable room, I'd stay there again. I will not hold a business breakfast, coffee, or lunch there again. KCR

This hotel is located on 48th St just east of Madison Avenue, so it is conveniently located to reach just about anywhere in central Manhattan. It is beautifully decorated and the staff is polite and professional. I definitely plan to stay there n my next visit to NYC.

We always try to stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in NYC. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are reasonable size and comfortably appointed. The location is so convenient.

InterContinental The Barclay

I enjoyed my stay at the Barclay very much. The staff was very helpful and the room was clean. The restaurant was wonderful - very good, quality food. Close to many wonderful areas.

Finding a good hotel in NYC, that does not cost an arm and a leg, is difficult. I was very impressed with the InterContinental and will stay there again. Very impressed.

Great NYC location -- and typical NYC hotel -- OLD and OVERPRICED Food, Bar, Room -- typical of NY prices -- Expensive! Overall Value for the price -- is mid range -- But it is NYC!!! and location is terrific!

Everything about this hotel was great. Location is good, rooms bigger than we expected and the staff was terrific.

This was our first stay at the hotel. From the moment we arrived Christmas Eve until we departred New Years Day we had a wonderful stay. The front desk, bell hop, concierge and housekeeping staff were all wonderful. Our rooms were very nice both had a seperate living and bedroom areas. Beds were turned down each night, everything was wonderful. We'll definately stay there on our next visit to the big applle.

All the personnel were very helpful and friendly there was a broken place in our sink that needs repair or sink bowl needs resurfacing. Room 451 I would have loved ot have the newspaper at my door in the morning.

The value is not worth the money. I have stayed at other nearby hotels for less than half the money paid here and was equally satisfied.

A "Superior King" was reserved and prepaid. A small room was provided, not acceptable. It was changed the next day to a larger, more acceptable room (4 night stay), but less than a "Superior King". Staff seemed stressed and less than friendly. Excellent bar, good location. Rooms need updating.

The hotel staff was very accommodating. There was no tea in the room and the front desk had room service send up tea at no extra charge. Rooms were very spacious.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the room very comfortable and well appointed; however, the bed is too old (you can "feel" where body weight has been embedded on either side of the King bed) though it has a nice feather bed topper to it. The doormen and bellhops are outstanding, but the front desk staff were not welcoming or very pleasant. Good value.

What a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff! Great relaxing weekend , room was lovely and clean. Right in the heart of shopping heaven, Walking distance with great restaurants and pubs. Concierge desk is incredible with all the information they offer. Will certainly be returning, November a great time of year to visit. A brilliant experience. Only down side, water is the room is expensive and not complimentary so stock up!

the tv was broken so we had to move to another room when noone came to fix it

Old bathroom, old carpet, bad service at the restaurant. This is not a 4 star hotel

Quiet elegance just steps away from the major hub of NYC. Walk to grand central, shop on 5th avenue, watch the slatted in Rockefeller center, take in a broadway show. Fantastic concierge service and calm relaxing atmosphere. Just loved it!!!! I booked this for my family from Toronto and they were enchanted!

Good, clean hotel in convenient location to Grand Central Station and walking distance to many other sites. Taxis may be difficult to get since off on a side street but obtainable with a wait so plan ahead. All and all a good experience and would stay again.

I sted at Barclay with my wife. It was a very nice and comfortable visit. Our room was large and had two very comfortabe beds. The bathroom wasn´t big but quite sufficient. The only things to complain about are: air conditioning (too noisy) and breakfast (too expensive).

Friendly staff, clean rooms. Less of a view from the room, but it is New York - you must expect neighbors. Had a great stay.

Great hotel. Good location, close to lots of stuff. Wonderful little market on the corner of Lex and 48th for breakfast or lunch. Great, knowledgeable bellman; comfortable, clean rooms! We'll definitely stay here again!

The Intercontinental Barclay pleases on the surface in most ways except its front desk and operator service. The hotel is clean and well kept and has the aura travelers expect of an Intercontinental Hotel. The service staff apart from the front desk and operator are cordial and welcoming, but I was unimpressed with the welcome and respect of the front desk staff toward hotel clients. They were icy and unengaged and perfunctory even when few customers were awaiting service.

The hotel is beautiful - although the rooms are noticably older. Bedding is comfortable. Staff is pleasant and accommodating. The only criticism is that the parking is apparently not run by the hotel and is a bit difficult.

We were to check out 8/28/11, but could not because of hurricane Irene. The hotel was very was concern for our welfare. The staff is very professional and accommodating. Highly recommend!

GREAT PLACE FOR A GIRLS' WEEKEND IN THE BIG APPLE. THE HOTEL FELT SAFE AND THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL...EVEN THE LOCAL POLICE WERE HELPFUL WITH SUGGESTIONS AND DIRECTIONS .

Overall very impressed, good service, great location friendly staff. Police outside the Hotel for peace of mind. Weather was lovely. Check in staff accommodated my late check out without a fee. However the shower in the bathroom was like standing in the rain, not a power shower but a dripping shower! and bathroom was on the small side. If i got a room with a decent shower would stay again .

Having read the reviews of NY hotels prior to visiting, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised with the whole experience at the Barclay Inter Continental. Staff were friendly, rooms spacious and comfortable and the concierge super wide range of knowledge was absolutely brilliant. We could not have seen so many different attractions had it not been for the friendly help of the hotel concierge. They were also very patient to all our everyday questions. Well done.

You can tell from the lovely entrance that this will be a special, special place to stay, and indeed it is. The lobby is gorgeous and the rooms are beautiful. The only thing more beautiful is the service. These folks -- from the doorman to the bellmen to the front desk -- are just beautiful - beautifully professional and friendly. You cannot beat the location. Blocks from Central Park. Absolutely would recommend!!
