Quiet location on Grosvenor Square a short walk to the tube. I had a room at the top floor, like a dormer/attic room -- it was compact but well appointed, comfortable and quiet. No where to place suitcase, which isn't unusual I guess. The bathroom was small but a lot nicer than mine is! Plus, they fixed the broken hinge on the toilet seat, even when I didn't mention it to them. I left two pounds for a tip, but the maid only took one pound. DIdn't like having to pay for breakfast -- very pricey like pretty much everything is in London. So I skipped breakfast the next morning and ate elsewhere... All in all a very nice hotel, with friendly, efficient and accommodating people at the reception,. They let me arrange to keep the room until 1:30 pm without a charge which helped a lot. Hope to stay again some day

The location is perefect for accessing the west-end, regents street, oxford street etc... But the accomodation is looking a little tired.

This hotel was very good value - the price is usually lower than what we paid, can recommend.

The location can not be better. Front desk personnel are very helpful and the concierge services saved us a lot of hassle by pre-booking tickets and providing recommedations for sights. The only issue we had was the room. We traveled with another couple and they booked the same room. Their room was great but our room was a disaster! First we received a room that was not the room we booked - that happens but the front desk debated with us about it. They finaly agreed to move us to a suite which is what we reserved. It was the dirtiest, undermaintained room we have ever stayed in - definitely not a 4 star room. The room service missed something every day (coffee, towels, etc) and in the middle of the stay - helped themselves to our shampoo - but added water to the mix to make it look like nothing was missing. The TV service worked but was slow to respond - they actually still have old CRT TV's in the suites!? I have not seen this in any high end hotels for the last 5 years. Everything is a charge at this hotel. Free wifi is pretty standard in most upper end hotels these days. They should at least have a place where you can check in for flights. All in all, I would recommed staying with a name brand hotel over this one in the same district. If you do want to stay here, check out the room first before you unpack and you will be a lot happier.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The room was quite large (especially for London). The bed was very comfortable and I felt comfortable walking in the neighborhood. The service was also excellent. I would definitely stay here again!

The Millenium hotel in London is a charming hotel to stay at with a wonderful history. It is located in the heart of all the major shopping areas and close to all the sites to see (all within a 15 to 25 minutes walking distance). While the first impression of the hotel at checkin was quite disappointing, the rest of the stay turned out to be quite nice. The room was very nicely appointed and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. We were easily able to get around to all the site seeing places (walking distance) and go through the exclusive designer stores on Bond Street as well as very close to Oxford and Regent streets for some serious shopping and souvenior hunting. We were also given some nice pointers as to where we could get a wonderful dinner. All in all the stay was great.

Ideally situated was the plus factor in this hotel. The deluxe room was overpriced and the room needed urgent updating. Very cluttered and no space to move around. No free wireless internet in the room which should be included in the rate. The concierge were informative and very helpful. The Japanese restaurant and Italian restaurant in the hotel were very good. The 2 in house bars were well stocked and offered variety on their menu's.

Enjoyable stay room was comfortable and well sized ,liked the location. We were allocated a twin room in error but this was efficiently corrected by reception. Avista restaurant well worth a visit very good , we found the Pine Bar busy and under staffed ; on one evening ordered drinks but after 20 mins gave up waiting .

Some points on this hotel: 1. A/C was not working in first room. Was moved the next day. 2. Mattress was very uncomfortable in second room. Called housekeeping and asked for a new room. The person responded, "I can't really check every room". Housekeeping was sent and they discovered that the mattress was placed upside down. To his defense, the housekeeping person called back and apologized for his comment. 3. The location is wonderful for hyde park enthusiasts 4. Room service was quick and tasted ok

Millenium Mayfair is highly recommended ..close to all the must-see sights! And neighborhood is safe. We found ourselves wondering around the area at midnight.....

It certainly does not live up to its 4 star rating. Rooms were so so clean and generally room and hotel seemed a little unfresh or worned down. Though the location of the hotel is perfect for a London visit.

Clos to tube stations and sights of london very quiet neighbourhood but beautiful surroundings. Couldnt fault hotel and would def stay here again if i went back to london.

We loved the hotel. The location could not have been better and the staff was wonderful. The room was small, as expected in London, but appointed nicely.

This is a great hotel with wonderful access to many of London's attractions by foot. High price buys you a nice address. Could probably spend less and get an equally accepatable location.

The Mayfair Millennium Hotel has an outstanding location in one of the poshest and most historic sections of that great city. It is located on Grosvenor Square, opposite the American Embassy. Being adjacent to a large leafy park in the middle of frantic London is a bonus. President Rosevelt's statue holds a prominent place in the park too - it's kind of welcoming for an American. The hotel itself is very comfortable, immaculate, the service utterly firstrate without being stuffy. I called Housekeeping to ask for foam-rubber bed pillows and they were smilingly supplied in minutes. The food was very good, well-prepared and the dining room comfortable. There's a well-outfitted business center and two cozy bars. The reception staff gave me a courtesy upgrade, large room on the park which was much appreciated. London hotels are so expensive but this one is worth the money at hotel.com's rates. Eazy walk to Park Lane and the London tour buses, and the classic Grosvenor House and Dorchester are hotels nearby. A very good value.

stayed for one night only in delux king size bedroom. Just lovely - quality decor and great size bed.....good loaction to reach central London and Victoria station. Great service from the moment we arrived. Would definately return.......

hotel ok,but will probally try some where else the next time

My family has stayed in two rooms (Deluxe King Type, with full breakfast) for one week. The rooms are always very clean (well mede-up) and quite (good for well-sleep). We are fully satisfied with this hotel.

Large room for the area. Very comfortable. The entire staff, from front desk to housekeeping, were extremely friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of a couple of underground stations.

Second visit to this hotel - stayed 2 nights on this occasion. Fast efficient check in and check out. Courteous staff. Great deluxe room on 7th floor. Excellent location for Oxford Street, Piccadilly and Hyde Park. Will definitely use the hotel again.

Nice hotel rooms were larger than expected. I would stay here again if the price was right. Gym is modest but better than most of the smaller hotels in the area.

For the money, this is one of the best hotels and locations in London. Mayfair is a lovely area, and you are just a few blocks away from the Bond Street station. I have stayed at this hotel for many years, and if you look around you can usually find a good deal. It is quiet and peaceful since it is on Grosvenor Square.

Veldig bra i forhold til prisen

Flott hotell som ligger veldig sentralt i et flott område. Rent og pent. hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Bor det gjerne igjen.

Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt for både shopping og store severdigheter. Gåavstand - også til Hyde Park og andre, samt til Themsen. Selve hotellet er i en eldre bygning men likevel meget fint, rolig og rent. Gode senger. Badet kunne trenge oppussing. Den engelske vennligheten var selvsagt der. Frokosten var ekstra bra med godt utvalg. Det er rangert til 4 stjerner med god grunn. Vi vil absolutt anbefale dette og ønsker å bo der igjen.

今回で２回目ですが、落ち着いた環境で気に入っています。 高級感はありませんが、気軽に利用できる感じで、オックフォードストリートに近いのも便利です。 日本語を話せるホテルスタッフはいませんが、あまり英語が得意ではない私でも、親切に対応してくれました。 また利用したいと思います。

L arrivée à l hotel se fait sans Difficultés le lieu est bien connu. A deux pas des rues commercantes et des parcs le lieu est magnifique si on ne veut pas s encombrer de transport en commun. Pour un tel standing trois choses pourraient s ameliorer : la qualité de service, l amabilité du personnel et une plus grand effort de communication. A peine arrivés le groom qui a porté notre pauvre valise solitaire à la chambre à peine le temps de voir ce que l on a comme monnaie que le groome claque la porte et jette les papiers dans la chambre furieux. Drole d accueil! Le soir meme la chambre etait d un froid glacial quoi que somptueuse, on nous a changé de chambre apres que je me sois inquieté du pauvre radiateur portable pour chauffer une chambre immense. A part ces malheureux incidents l endroit reste à visiter.
