Amsterdam Marriott Hotel - أمستردام

We were very happy with the hotel and the room had a fantastic view of the square. Staff were very polite and courteous. We enjoyed the bar are but found breakfast quite expensive. That was the only downside - everything else was to our satisfaction.

Great location for transport, food and entertainment. Tho hotel staff were very helpful and polite. Room was perfect and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. Will most definately be staying here again next time I visit. (10/10)

The hotel is beautiful, staff are friendly and professional, we found the restaurant a little pricey but it is an expensive city. The room was spacious and clean which was essential for four women sharing and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever been in. Location wise you couldn't get more central we were waking distance from most popular attractions and anything else was a tram ride away. The staff were very helpful in the hotel guiding us to where we wanted to go and the locals were very welcoming also. We are already planning our trip back next year!

I had a brief stay at the Amsterdam Marriott. The Front Desk staff and Bell Service were both very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and comfortable and the hotel location is great.

This a little weird one when i make a comparison With the other Marriots i have stayed before İ thought whether it is because new year's eve Or it is casual environment For this otel Especially i should mention that otel concierge and Staff indifferent towards customers wishes and Needs İ did not feel that i stayed in a marriot

if you have high minimum standards, this hotel is perfect. Safe, most comfortable bed i've slept in; in europe, ice machines, mini bar and key card elevator.

Good location but many drunks about early am. Rooms good and clean etc but hotel is a bit out of the 70s. Breakfast not included in our deal and 95 Euros for the four of us!

The Amsterdam Marriott is wonderfully convenient and still maintains the quiet charm of a boutique hotel. It is thoroughly modern yet very familiar in its quality and comfort. My family was very pleased with the quality of the food in the restaurant and the location near the premier museums and parks of Amsterdam. We would definitely recommend it.

Great hotel and location. Room was spacious given European standards. Only downfall I would say is no kettle in the room to make coffee and prices in the restaurant were expensive. There aren't very many restaurants on this side of the canal, so you have to walk across the canal to the more touristy area to have ample food options. Loved the area of the hotel -- very close to the museums and designer shopping.

Very pleased with our stay would stay again, staff were very helpful. Close to numerous places of interest, museums, Vondelpark, Heineken Experience, many restaurants; we were able to walk to everything. The hotel room was a good size, had a window for fresh air and a comfortable bed.

We loved it. Perfect location. Free laundry service too. We would stay there again..

The hotel was convenient to both museums, restaurants, fashion district, parks, and squares. The restaurant in the hotel had an excellent dinner menu and the food was outstanding. The hotel halls and our room had a bad odor. It seemed like they were using too much disinfectant to cover up a foul smell.

This hotel was so busy, they could not provide good service. I did not like the location or the condition of the hotel, the room was fine. For the price it was over priced and definitely over rated. No way deserves five stars

Perfect location for anything you may want to visit and enjoy. Museums, restaurants, shops, boats, bike rental, cocktail bars...you name it and it s just steps away. The staff is very helpful and nice, the room was very very clean, quiet and the bed very big and really comfortable. I am a difficult one sleep wise and I have to say that I really slept well. We had a lovely and restful time and still had everything on the doorstep. We had breakfast twice in a nearby caffe wich was popular with local people and not touristic at all...the cakes were fantastic. Perfect..or nearly

I stay in Marriott hotels all over the world and this ranks as the worst ever. It is grossly overpriced. I had a problem getting a signal with my iPhone and iPad and when I went to the Business Centre they were only interested in selling me overpriced tokens to access the internet on the hotel computers. They referred me to the concierge who suggested I stand outside on the street to get a signal! As I Marriott card holder I asked if I could use the Executive Lounge for a meeting but was told it would cost €85 as my card was neither gold nor platinum.

We liked a lot of things about this hotel - location, good beds, clean and comfortable. Plus one of us needed to see a doctor and the concierge got an appt that day for us - we were very appreciative! We did ask in our reservation for 2 queen beds and they scheduled us for one king bed which we were not happy about and as a result they had to bring in an rollaway. This made our room pretty cramped, but other than this, I would say our stay there was lovely.

The hotel is in a great location - not too far from all of the major attractions - 5 min to the major museums and within walking distance (30min) to central station. Vondelpark is just next door with fantastic flowers and walking paths, tram stop is just across the street with easy access throughout Amsterdam. The hotel was a bit dated and probably needs refurbishing, but it was comfortable and quiet in the evenings.

This is a great central location ... 10 min walk to the Van Gogh Museum, tram stop to Central Station right in front of hotel, hundreds of great restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk ... and a wonderful Pancake House across the street in a little park.

Spotless room, excellent breakfast. Friendly and willing staff. Location was excellent - not in the crowded old Amsterdam, but in a 5-min walking distance to VondelPark and the charming Leidsestraat - a high street with tons of nice shops and bars. Hotel restaurant - a steakhouse named Midtown - was very very good. Overall very pleased.

I found the reception staff rude. The household staff came knocking at our door every hour from 7 onwards until we checked out at midday, there was no "do not disturb" sign in the room.

The hotel was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is I gave a debit card for incidentals and they held almost $1,000 on my card. After a few phone calls it was finely released but not until 5 days after I checked out. I wish they would have told me how much they would hold so I would think to give a credit card instead.

The Marriott is very conveniently located near museums, and is an easy walk into some fun shopping neighborhoods. It has a great gym- not big, but definitely more than just the little room with 2 bikes and a treadmill! If you can get a deal with breakfast included, do it! (our deal through Hotels.com was way better than published rates, and also included breakfast!). :) The breakfast is nice, but quite expensive. Only real complaint: couldn't get the air conditioning to go low enough to sleep comfortably. Finally opened the sliding door to outside the last two nights, and cooled off that way.

Location is very good and room is very clean and confortable. Bed makes you feel like you are at home. Note: FREE WIFI needs to be installed.

This hotel has the perfect location, in walking distance to everything. Great view from the balcony of our room. Room was comfortable and clean. Personnel were very accomodating and personable. This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. We love it.

It was fantastic arriving at the hotel and finding myself on the doorstep of all activities and a network of transport options. The hotel itself was of excellent standard , but it was the convenience of its position that makes it exceptional. Once I got the hang of the public transport system, it was away and go, with ease and pleasure - with the hotel within easy reach to rest and recuperate in between! I would choose this hotel again when I come back to Amsterdam.

We went to Amsterdam last minute and got this room...boy we were lucky. It was in a great location and the room was extremely nice. The hotel staff were helpful and the hotel was very clean. The only problem I had was that the sauna was broken for the males and the female sauna took a long time to heat up, which I never got it working fully. The sauna also seats one...maybe two if you are both skinny:)

I've been to Europe many times including four times to Amsterdam. This is undoubtedly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in Europe. Perfect location for access to Central Amsterdam and the Museum District. Modern, clean rooms, excellent staff and a great bar.

Loved this hotel. Location is perfect, short tram ride from the main station. Great bars, restaurants & shopping all within a short stroll. Hotel is exceptionally clean and comfortable, breakfast is fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great deal in terms of quality, price and location. Service was very good, the rooms are very nice but there were some minor maintenance annoyances like a loud pipe by the toilet in the bathroom and the great views form our room were kind of ruined but windows that are not clean from the outside (had a thick coat coat of dirt). But in general the hotel is very beautiful inside all around (the exterior of the building is a turd) and the location is just fantastic. Also the laundry room is a great convenience. I will be back to it.

Very central location but very noisy at night till early morning. Typical city centre. Hotel services are average. Very few staff behind desk at lobby. Good hotel but the staff are not guest friendly, OK to stay with reserve.

Excellent place to stay while in Amsterdam. Clean and specious rooms, helpful staff, and centrally located.

We stayed there during the Bank holiday weekend in May. It was very nice stay. The room was very clean and well maintained. Queen size comfortable bed offered a good rest after strolling round Amsterdam the whole day. The tram 1,2 and 5 brought us everywhere in the city centre. The taxi to the airport costs only 34 Euro. Will stay there again next time. Advice... Please ask/book for city view.

The free washing machines and dryers on the 2nd floor were a great help on our trip. However, the expensive charge for internet was annoying. The location is central and there is a lot of night life nearby.

The hotel was nice and in fine condition. Very comfortable bed, big room, nice bathroom. The construction that was going on was noisy but kept to reasonable hours. Far from the Central train station, but easily accessible by tram, and a great location to get to restaurants, shops and museums (Anne Frank, Van Gogh, etc)as well as the Vondelpark.

After staying in France and Germany I began to accept that you cannot get a room that you can fit yourself and a suitcase at any price. In Paris I was spending $500 per night and having to take turns using the room. The Amsterdam Marriott was in a good location and I would atay there again. I would reccomend learning the canal taxi sytem "Hop on Hop off" much more efficient than taxi and I could never ride a bike there.

These beds are comprobable to the Westin Hotel beds which in my view are top of the range - I always regard beds in hotels the most important factor - a bit like seats on an airplane. They are the main thing and these are great

This is the highest rate I ever paid for a hotel room but worth every bit of it. My wife is now spoiled and said that from now on - hotels we stay in must meet Marriot's standards. Location is great within walking distance to the tram station and two great museums.Close enough to the square where the action is - street artists, coffee shops, restaurants. I do not recommend the pricey breakfast in the hotel.
