The Reach, A Waldorf Astoria Resort - كي ويست

I almost hate to say how wonderful the hotel is and how great our stay was there. I'm selfish and don't want it to be full the next time I want to stay at the hotel. I will definitely recommend this hotel and its location is in a very good part of Key West. Loved it. And thank you.

The room was beautiful and clean. The beach was small but nice. But nothing opened until 8am and no one seemed that happy to help us. Also the price for breakfast buffet was outragious. Overall a good trip and stay.

The Hotel has its own nice little Beach and is very good located. It has bikes available that take you to Duval Street and Mallory Square in no time. You can book jet ski tours that start right from the Hotel. For 140 $ they take you around the whole key. Highly recommended. The rooms are spacy and clean.

The room was okay but not up to a Waldorf standard. The outside area was nice and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The rooms definitely need to be updated. It wasnt the best option for the price, that is for sure.

We loved the resort! The service was excellent, the room very clean. And although we saw on Hotels.com others comment that the rooms were small, we had the king bed and felt the room size was perfectly adequate. The one odd thing was that although there was a closet, the room had no dresser, which necessitated living out of our suitcases throughout our stay. The location was great. A beautiful sandy beach, which is unusual in Key West, lovely pool, and within walking distance of Duval Street. The Casa Marina, the sister facility a block away, added to the available amenities for Reach guests. We would definitely go back again and highly recommend it.

Nice location in Key West with your own private beach. We enjoyed being on the beach as KW is limited to nice beaching ie seaweed on the sand or rocky coarse beaches. Staff was accommodating. We would go back tho a bit pricey.

Great hotel all around. When we got there our room was unavailable so they bumped us up to a better room and gave my wife and I two drink vouchers. We would stay at the reach again

When you see Waldorf Astoria Resort, you automatically expect extreme high class. I would say this hotel was extremely high class with a Key West style. Key West is known as a relaxed environment and The Reach encompasses just that. I know I have seen comments where people remark on the outdoorsy aspects of the hotel, but come on it is Key West! The staff was very helpful and the pool/beach area really encouraged you to relax. . The rooms were huge the balconies spacious and bathrooms clean. Again it might not be the most grand hotel I ever stayed at, but I enjoyed the luxuries of a Waldorf Astoria with the style and personality of Key West

Best vacation ever. From start to finish.

This was my first time going to Key West and The Reach couldn't have been a better choice. The staff is great, the room was very clean, everything was just great. I would definitely recommend this place to all of my friends and family.

Absolutely one of the greatest places I have ever stayed. Beautiful facility and people. So friendly, competent, and kind. The grounds are lovely, and it is within walking distance to every attraction. Well, I guess it would, it's in Key West!

I looked at almost every hotel in Key West...selected The Reach...good choice...the room was very clean and fully stocked...everything worked, super cold a/c....the staff members are the best...I did order room service a bit $$$ but got there fast and was cooked perfectly. Just a short walk to Duval Street....didn't need any ground transportation...only a taxi to the airport. Book The Reach....I will stay there again!

The hotel is nested right on the ocean and few blocks from the Duval street. The restaurant offers buffet breakfast that certainly is overpriced and very mediocre in quality, but you can enjoy the view of the ocean right formYour table. The room looks just ok, Ikea quality furniture, certainly has very little resemblance with Waldolf glamour, but will do. First impression was rather disappointing but overall we were satisfied

We checked in at 11:30 and had some difficulties w checkin. Key West shuts down pretty early, so had to wait for Paul, the manager, to resolve the issues in the morning. Paul was wonderful! We had our room upgraded to a suite with ocean / courtyard view. He had our luggage moved while we were out and chocolates and champagne waiting for us on our return! The rooms are nice and the staff were wonderful. They opened the gift shop after hours so we could buy some wine, and Ashley hooked us up for our seaplane trip to the Tortugas and our sunset cruise. It was a wonderful trip! The beds are comfortable, but the hotel is a bit older. The beach and pool are small but nice. After about 10pm it is pretty quiet, you would need to go next door to their sister hotel, the Casa Marina, to have drinks or food. Like the rest of the reviews, the Casa Marina is more expensive and is similar to what you think of the Waldorf brand, big lobby , big pools, higher end clientele etc...Key West is expensive, so for the $219 per night (hotels.com deal) for an ocean view suite it was a great deal!

Older building and only real negative was that the rooms booked thru hotels.com had a view of the parking lot. Not expected. Spent most of time at the pool. Would go back if I knew my room was not going to be so poorly located.

the overall stay was very good, but the lighting in the bthroom was awful! not at all condusive tom applying mkeup!

It was wonderful. More than we expected!!

I stayed there now the 3rd time within one year and was dissap. to not get the upgrade as usual. The Hotel was comp. booked. We ended up on the 2nd floor facing the courtyard and even the ocean for a bit. Both nights there was a wedding going on till 11 pm and next to our room was the outside dancefloor. Would have liked to be informed at check-in about this, bc. traveling with a baby this certainly was not good. All night people were walking up and down the hall to the elevators. The carpet could had been cleaner...one of the bed sheets hat brown rusty spots on it and the other one was torn on the side. Paul at the reception is wonderful!But overall it is a beautiful hotel and a wonderful relaxing spot and not at all in the middle of the Duval street bars. I need to point out specially the good service of JOHN and RICARDO at the pool and beach. They gave us everything we needed and were super friendly..they opened the beach door when we came back with a sleeping baby in the stroller and were so wonderful. We felt very welcome. The manager of John needs to know that we witnessed the incidence on SAT afternoon were he got yelled at from 4 people drinking in the pool their liqu. Only because he asked them to put the drink outside of the pool, He was nice to them and not at all yelling. They were giving him a hard time and joked about him. They were not nice at all and we felt bad for him, bc. they kept on going to do it on purpose.

We were told we'll have a room when we arrived but there wasn't any rooms available. The manager did get that issues promptly.

The hotel was first-class. Situated near the lower end of Duval Street, the neighborhood was quiet yet close enough to walk to everything. The property is wonderful, with its own beach and wonderfully attentive staff. I can't find anything at all to take exception with. We paid for an upgraded room and had a stunning view of the ocean. Although the on-site restaurant is pricey, you can walk to any number of wonderful restaurants offering a wide variety of food. While the hotel is on the upper spectrum cost wise, we thought is was well worth the extra money.

Clean enough, friendly staff, close to duval, and most important, has its own beach.

service was outstanding: reception top; ricardo Patrick on the beach were amazing, helping us every morning with the chairs etc

Good hotel, but quite expensive.

The hotel staff was very helpful the room and view was great perfect location leaves you wanting for nothing

Everyone was friendly and courteous from check in to check out. My only complaints are no refrigerator and extremely slow service at the restaurant located outside by the pool. But I would definitely stay again! Beautiful room and amazing view!

Waldorf charging Ritz price but delivering 3 star product.

My husband and I were in Key West for a wedding. We spent 2 nights at the Double Tree Hotel and wanted to end our stay with at a luxurious resort. The Reach was nice, but not over-the-top. The location was perfect and the beachfront was gorgeous. The rooms are pretty good. The bathrooms are ok...very small. We had to hold down the handle to make the toilet flush. The espresso maker in our room was a perk. We had to wait 40 minutes (and make 3 phone calls) to get additional pods to make more espresso in the morning. The bed was comfy and the robes were nice. The food at the onsite restaurant (The Strip) was NOT good. I am completely ok paying $16 for a burger and fries and $10 for guacamole and chips if it is gourmet. The burger was ok...didn't even come with the bacon that was listed on the menu. The guacamole wasn't good, the chips were a little stale and the portion size was tiny. I was a little annoyed by that...especially with all the amazing food that I ate the rest of the trip on the island. I would only stay at The Reach in the future because of the location. I would probably try to find a hotel with a better onsite restaurant.

The beach was pretty as a postcard. The espresso machine in the room was a nice touch. We really enjoyed being walking distance to all the restaurants on Duval Street and the Southernmost point.

Awesome location, quiet at night but right next to Duval street. Best part is the private beach with waiters bringing drinks all day

The hotel was on a beautiful spot of Key West...with the pool overlooking the ocean and their own lovely beach. Away from all the hustle/bustle of 0 Duvall, but very quick to get there when you wanted. The staff was excellent and very attentive. The food was very good, although I thought the breakfast was overpriced...especailly compared to all the other very nice places we tried for breakfast while there. It also would have been nice to have a lobby bar where you could relax after going out for the evening. Overall a very nice experience...would stay there again.

this hotel was wonderful. the staff went out of their way to be kind and helpful. not one complaint. would definately stay there again.

I stayed there already 2 times with friends and the staff is super friendly and I got upgrades to ocean rooms for free! the location is nice but a bit of a walk to the bars of Duval street. beach is nice and the poeple are super friendly and all the little stuf you get during the day makes the beach day nice..pool is beautiful.. rooms super clean and good in shape...will def. stay there again

Amazing location. Close to everything. Only complaint was tv was not working. And no valet available. Otherwise it was great. Very clean. Rooms seem smaller than expected. Balcony was nice and view was amazing. Ate breakfast a few blocks up at Camille's and was so delicious. Would stay again.

The manager Paul was exceptional. He made our stay a great experience. In fact all of the staff was outstanding.

We had a great time!

The Reach succeeds on many levels for me: convenient to attractions yet away from the main noisy touristy area; has its own beach: quiet (during our stay we saw no families or loud groups, mostly couples) and the understated luxury that pervades the property. As this was our first KW trip, we didn't realize that the ocean side of the island is breezy, while the harbor side is calm. Good to know (The Reach is on the ocean side). The room's balcony, spa robes, and NYT on the doorstep encouraged slow mornings. The in-room espresso machine got us moving. :) The hotel restaurant, The Striphouse, went above and beyond for us on two separate occasions. We took advantage of having access to the sister property, Casa Marina. That's where the spa is located. PRO TIP: Go to the 5th floor of The Reach for a hidden balcony with fantastic sunset views.
