My son and I recently stayed here b/c we wanted to be close to Space Camp for our Cub Scout check-in at 10am . You cannot stay any closer to Space Camp than the Marriott. The staff were courteous and helpful. Paula was a friendly voice on the other end of the phone making sure we had everything we needed. Room service, WiFi and a heated indoor pool were just what my son and i needed. The room seemed a bit small but we were only staying one night so it wasn't an issue. This was an ideal stay for us and made getting to our destination a breeze.

Right next to the space museum, so an ideal location if that is your planned activity. The hotel is updated on the inside, looks like every other Marriott. Great pool, sauna and hot tub. Our room on the 4th floor had a view of the rockets and we could see part of the space shuttle. The bed was great. room large. The three things that bugged me: the room smelled of chlorine (pool right below the window), you could not open the window and the wooden bed head had fingers prints all over it. The breakfast buffet downstairs was great for the one morning we were visiting the space museum. Downtown huntsville is an easy 9 minute drive away and we found good food and good bars.

Stayed to attend space camp with my son, location is perfect and so glad they have great restaurants onsite. The price was realllllly high! Tried every way I knew how to get a reduced rate -even drove an hour and a half to ask in person if I could get a better rate. I stayed 5 yrs ago, to go to space camp with my daughter and same thing - high rate, but it is close and felt very safe being there by myself -so, all in all, I think it was worth it. Very comfortable room!

What a disappointment this hotel was to all seven people in our party. We booked it expecting an upgrade from the Hampton Inns and Comfort Inns where we usually stay, but in my opinion, the Hampton Inn and the Comfort Inn are both better. I'll try to be concise, but there is a lot of territory to cover. We had two identical rooms with two double beds each. First of all, the beds are as soft as marshmallows, so if you are like me and need firm lumbar support you'll be up constantly with joint pain. I had to resort to sleeping on the floor one night just to get a couple hours of sleep. Even the seven year old in our group, who can sleep on just about any surface, complained to me that he couldn't sleep good because of the “smushy-ness” of the bed. The rooms seem smaller than the Hampton Inn and Comfort Inn; very cramped. One of the room's AC unit could not cool the room to 74 with the window curtain open and the other room couldn't even do it at night. Housekeeping tries to cover the musty smell with copious amounts of Fa-breeze. There is a very small fridge, only big enough for a few canned drinks. No microwave. No DVD player. Wired only internet access that will cost you $11.14 a day (noon to noon) if you choose to use it. They advertise it as high speed, but it isn't. Don't expect to watch any streaming video with this connection. If you want an Ethernet cable longer than 6 feet bring your own. The pool looks big in the website pictures; if 15 people were in it at the same time it would be crowded. The hotel personnel are not friendly, but they aren't rude either. They just appear to be indifferent. They don't seem to care if you're a happy guest or not. If you like Coke products, bring your own. Their machines are only stocked with Pepsi products. Didn't see any candy/snack machines anywhere. There is no free breakfast as at Hampton Inn and Comfort Inn. Not even any complimentary coffee. The location sucks. Even being adjacent to the Space and Rocket Museu

EVEN THOUGH THISHOTEL IS USED ALOT BY THE BUSINESS CLASS, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO FAMILIES COMING INTO HUNTSVILLE. IT IS RIGHT NEXT TO THE SPACE AND ROCKET CENTER AND SCI QUEST. ALSO THEIR POOL IS BEAUTIFUL BOTH A INDOOR AND OUTDOOR. THE ONLY BAD THING WE HAD WAS OUR VIEW WHICH WAS OVERLOOKING THE ROOF AND I GUESS SOMEONE HAD TO HAVE IT.

Everything was fine and we did not have any problems. We LOVE the crispy french toast. We have talked about it since we stayed at the Marriott Hilton Head and were shocked and elated to see it on Marriott Huntsville's menu. I will definitely stay at more Marriott's because of the extra yummy crispy french toast. Additionally, my best friend was with me and she is much older than I am. It was SOOOOO nice that no one asked us if she was my grandmother! We will stay here again! We really liked the soap products. They smell great!! And the bathroom warmer was really nice too!

The room was very nice and updated. Has flat screen tv in the room but doesnt has a refrigator. But overall its a nice place.

Room was very clean, Bed very comfortable, great atmosphere!!! We will definitely stay here again when in the area!

Hotel staff exceeded normal service. Very clean. Would def. Stay again. Front desk staff excellent.

This hotel was right next door to the Space Center. Lots of great restaurants within a couple of miles. Great pool for the kids. Comfortable and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

Gutes Hotel mit schönem Schwimmbad. Liegt direkt neben dem U.S. Space & Rocket Center und ist vom Flughafen Huntsville-Decatur (HSV) gut erreichbar.
