ROOM WAS RUN DOWN WITH NOTHING EXTRA, FOR THE PRICE I HAVE STAYED AT CHAIN HOTELS THAT WERE CHEEPER AND BETTER NO ICE BOX OR MICROWAVE IN ROOM OR COFFEE IN THE MORNING

I was really disappointed to see such worst hotels on this prestiguious site. I have travelled the globe but I have not seen such a worst hotel in my life. There was no water in hotel to drink and automated dispenser were not working properely. there were only 2 dispenser working for 10 floors and had no water tabs, so sorry for booking this hotel and I was really ashamed infront of family and friends. The front desk at night was unfriendly. I would suggest Hotel.com to remove this particular hotel from their list.

This hotel smelled musty and was VERY outdated. The room was clean but the bathroom fixtures were showing their age. Faucets were hard to turn on/off. The price was too high for the accommodations. The "continental breakfast" was doughnuts and coffee. I would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel is old and invites you to remember the past, but not in a good way. Check in machinery (aka computers & printers) were something I may have used in high-school (over 15 years ago)!! That's fine if they work but these didn't (very well anyway). The lobby looked just like it may have circa 1985 (or older)! The curtains had some kind of stains at the bottom too! The room we had was not nice at all! OLD, OLD, OLD, it was not exceptable! It had a window unit air conditioner and the room never felt truly cool! Lets just say we didn't walk on the floor barefoot! The lighting was sub-par to say the least and the balcony door wouldn't lock(thank God it had a chain)! The bathroom was "cleaned" but you can't clean ugly and old! The counter-top had at one time been painted, unfortunately that paint was peeling everywhere! Last but certainly not least, the bathtub didn't drain well and was the last straw in an already long one night stay!!!

With a last minute reservation, I didnt know what to expect with this 2 star hotel, but was delightfully surprized. First of all the older furniture and dated appearance of the lobby was immediately appealing. Many antique touches like the fountain and old mirrors and the wood columns in the lobby giving it a 1940's ambiance.Check in was friendly and easy and they were happy to give us extra towels and keys we requested.The room itselff was basic, but comfortable for our needs.The air conditioning suitable for the summer weather. My teens enjoyed the balcony view of the mountain and downtown area, as well as the cool temperature pool on the third floor. I especially enjoyed the coffee, fruit, and donuts that were served from 8am to 11am that were still there at 10 am when I finally got down to the serving room. This hotel appears to be going through some major renovation and I look forward to seeing its improvements on my next visit thru Hot Springs.

We parked & never got back in the car til we left. Just walk everywhere downtown. The Wilkins Music & Comedy Show close by was awesome. Pool is on 3rd floor outside - sometime dirty & cold, but the rest was great. The view from the 8th floor was awesome.
