awful. dirty coffee pot. the room smelt awful. Took for ever to get there. you couldn't turn around in the bath room and the towels were rags....

I was looking for an inexpensive hotel to make a quick rest stop in to break a long trip. I was only going to be staying for about 5 or 6 hours and thought I would save some dollars by choosing this Econolodge. What a mistake. While checkin was easy enough, I quickly felt this sinking feeling as I drove around to my room location. Coming into the room I click the light switch... and nothing. So walking around in dark, i had to search for light by bed to hope that it worked. As I brought my bags in to get settled in I decided I should go find Lysol. I then noticed that the security latch on ght door was broken. After spraying the bedding and bathroom i was just about ready to call it a night. I pulled back the covers and the bed moved slightly. I noticed a black speck on the box spring which turned out to be a bug. Now paranoid, i had to remove all the sheets and mattress to ensure there were not bed bugs. Fortunately, I saw no other bugs but as i removed the holely sheets and keep saying to myself.... you get what you pay for. I'm not a complicated traveler. I do like and have stayed at some of the finer lodging alternatives, but I don't have a problem with finding a motel, that's cheap but CLEAN. If your travels bring you through Nashville, please find another place to rest.

The room was kept clean and the fron desk was very helpful when we needed a room with refrigerator and microwave.

Hotel staff was very friendly and waited up for us for a 4am check- in. Condition of room very poor and sheets had visible stains. Shower was dirty.

Its a good place to stay.. Its close to the city but not too close.. Relatively good neighborhood.. lots of food venues!

older hotel, bathroom not real clean, shower head was for people under 4 foot tall. worked for a cheap stopping place for a couple hours sleep.

my wife and i have stayed in this hotel on multiple occasions its a clean quite place we take a short cab ride to down town the hotel has plenty of shops around it if you need something its a low frills hotel but the staff is always reaaly nice and go out of their way to help and for the price you just cant beat it

Roaches in our bathtub..They laughed it off and gave us a new room but I was still thoroughly disgusted and didn't feel comfortable sleeping there after the first room.

This is a very low budget hotel in need of a major renovation. However, I did not expect much more for the price paid. The staff is nice and the location is good. It is worth it to pay a little more to get a better quality room.

Needs a little updatiing but always clean!

WIFI signal was so weak and it was very hard to get the broadband

This Econolodge exceeded our expectations. We knew going in that we were getting a low frills place but that is what we wanted. It was easy to find and get to. We went to Music row after check in which was maybe a ten minute drive. I will stay here again if in Nashville.

I was not happy to have paid what i paid for a room with 2 full size bed when there are normally queen size beds and walls were dirty for 4 people.not happy at all with room ,but the employees were very polite and pleasant.

Great location for on and off the expressway. Was also only a few minute drive from downtown so I was able to go explore downtown that evening. The front desk staff was great in giving me ideas, suggestions for dinner, directions, etc.

I did not care for the room. My friend and I were only there for one night so we didn't mind the flaws as we didn't spend much time in the room. Although, we did sleep a night there our bed was very uncomfortable. Our TV had Audio but no picture and there was not a phone in the room (we even tried to call it thinking we had over looked it). But other than that the receptionist was VERY helpful on directions and suggestions for taxis, places to eat, and place that were fun to visit. The rate was fair and in a good location but the room was not acceptable but we didn't complain as we were only there for a short time.

Easy acces from i65. Pet friendly. Room mediocre. Breakfast very basic . Coffee really bad!

Needed a room for 1 night while going to a football game in downtown Nashville. This motel was conveniently located only 3 miles away with easy access. Outside the hotel smelled a little like sewage. The room was decent, just kind of old. Good room and price for only sleeping there 1 night

The location isn't necessarily ideal but the staff was friendly and the room was clean. It isn't the nicest hotel but it definitely was a budget friendly place to stay.

The hotel was fine for the price. Very convenient location. Next to a bar but was very quiet.

I have been travelling to Nashville quite a bit lately. Needless to say I've been hotel hopping for best price, least scary, and most convenient to Vanderbilt Hospital. This place is the perfect median. Only about 10 minutes drive time to hospital and as it's on the other (quiet) side of the main road it feels safer to me. I'm a female that's been travelling alone and safety is very important to me. All the other hotels I've stayed at I've left with very little sleep because I was nervous all night. Not here! I highly recommend this place if you are needing to save money and still want to feel safe. The breakfast isn't great and some of the showers spray a little funny, but I'll take that over insecurity any day! All the staff was very friendly, too.

I rented two rooms for my family for a one night visit to Nashville. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for one night. I figured I would get an old motel, but also expected it to be clean. My room had a bloody napkin on the bathroom floor. My friends room was the worst. When we pulled back the bedspread, it was clear the sheets had not been changed. There was hair all over the sheets and some kind of white clear rocky substance all over the bed. This was discovered at 1:30am and when we called the front desk we were told they didn't have the key to the room with the bedding, but offered to switch us to another room. Since we had 5 children between us and 4 of them were already asleep, switching rooms was not an easy option. We asked for the Manager and was told he lived over 45 minutes away and would not be able to drive in. The next morning when we tried to file a complaint, we were told by the front desk person that she wasn't able to help us as we booked this hotel with hotels.com. I can say Hotels.com was wonderful in handling the situation and I will book with them again. But I will never stay at this Econo Lodge.

The room was somewhat clean, but very dingy looking. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. Wifi was nonexistent. Staff seemed very cranky.

THe staff was very friendly, but the overall cleanliness was not very good. We actually considered immediantly, but because we were due at aconcert , we stayed.. It was nearly 90 minute wait on a cab, & the driver said they dont like to come into that area.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly. Our only complaint was that we couldn't get a good, useble internet connection anywhere in the hotel. The 'free WiFi' was therefore basically worthless.

I woke up during my one night stay to find that I had no hot water to shower!

I chose this hotel because of its price and proximity to Ryman Auditorium, where I was seeing a concert. The staff was VERY helpful and friendly. The room was clean and quiet, even though we were right off an interstate. And the only other Jack's BBQ in Nashville is right down the street!

The pool would have been one of the best I have ever saw except because of the season it was empty. The attached bar was closed, but they had a little honky tonk in the back off of the property easily within walking distance. The only bad thing that I can say about this hotel was, there was a crack under the door that you could see daylight through but luckily the in room furnace kept the room temp where I wanted it. The ice machine was not working. The breakfast was very clean and had a neat presentation, as well as satisfying and offered a selection of cereal, coffees, pastry, muffins, orange juice, and milk. I would stay there again. If the outside only were the judge it would look like not a well kept hotel, and in need of a new parking lot, but walking around it, the entrance and looking over all the property it really is a nice hotel to stay in. The bathroom facilities were extremely clean neat and worked very well. The television offered a wide variety, and they had a lot of suggestions for food options, including an indept view of the downtown restaurants. There was a magazine that offered a look into current music venues including songwriting clubs or meetings to hone the craft of songwriting for calborations. As far as location, it was in between centenial park, the parthenon, vanderbilt college, downtown, and the Opryland attarctions, it was in between them.

cheap, clean, very awesome indian fellow named ashok was working the desk and helped us out with several things - great guy. we needed a place to crash for after a late night before heading out fairly early, and this did the trick.

Sketchy neighborhood, a group of kids woke me up at 1am talking about how drunk they were. The floor also felt kinda nasty, did not want to take my shoes off while i stayed there.

We stayed for one night in the hotel, not bad for the price. The hotel was clean and quiet and the staff were pleasant. However, our room was very hot when we arrived despite the unseasonably cool evening outside. We turned on the aircon - which was really loud! This would not be a problem if it was constant noise but no this fan would turn off when the thermostat decided the room was cold enough (it got quite cold!) then stayed off until the room got unbearably warm again then started up with a noise loud enough to wake us up every time, and blew until very cold - cycle repeating itself. We could not access internet in our room - though could down at breakfast in the lobby in the morning. The sheets were not fitted sheets so were coming off the very small double bed. Also I would recommend moving the lamp stand to close the curtains because the fan blows them open slightly were they look into a mirror revealing the whole room and contents. The room and bed were up to standard for the price - the temperature and internet were not.

I only lowered the score of the room comfort due the bed being a spring mattress. I use a foam mattress at home, so I woke up with a sore back. If someone is used to spring mattresses this may not bother them.

This hotel was in a conveniant location for my needs. It was clean and well maintained.

Excellent location. The room was not cleaned well. there were cobwebs all along the ceiling walls. The door of the room had a space along the bottom where it seems that mice/rats could get through. I never saw any bugs - however, i was somewhat a little uncomfortable. My credit card was charged more than what I was quoted. A double bed room has a new meaning that it is only one (double) bed. Whereas, i always booked a double room and received a room with two double beds. I was initially charged $10 more and my credit card statement reflected a $22. i did not use anything for additional charges. At breakfast, the staff had a dog in the facinity of the hotel patrons food and restaurant. the dog was (cute) and barking alot. I did not appreciate the animals so close by. the dog was allowed to be on the countertop where patrons pay their hotel bill.. the bathtub area requires refinishing and there was not sufficient hot water in the room. Also some of the plugs were not working and my cell phone was not charged the following morning. The hotel was close to downtown and expressway. It made it very easy to get to my meeting. the location was in a rough area. The subway staff where I had lunch were not friendly people.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. My toilet bowl had not been cleaned, there were flies in the rooms, and the whole thing badly needed an upgrade. The staff was not super friendly and the surrounding neighborhood was run down and seedy. I woke up with two bedbug/chigger bites on my chest. I would recommend splurging on a hotel if you're visiting Nashville and staying away from the Econo Lodge and all others around it!

the only thing that sucked was the ac gave out at 1am and we had to move rooms and empty out the other room if not get charged

Name says it all it is cheapen price if you are just looking for a place to sleep for a night and on a budget this is the place to go

The hotel itself is a bit crummy, but the rooms are clean. Good size room for the rate. Clean swimming pool. Good for one night stays after long flights or on long road trips where price is a top consideration and appearance is not
