It was just okay, room could have been cleaner and the bed was not very comfortable ; the pillows were so small it was unbelievable. I dont think I would stay there again.

Under construction not clean. You can not take food to room.

Our stay was absolutely awful. First of all, we asked for a non smoking room. They had none available. We had to sleep in a smoking room. Yuch! Just the hallway on the 4th floor was totally smokey. Second, they are undergoing renovations and it is a mess everywhere. Rooms weren't clean either. The hotel is not very well run at all and gross. The only good thing about our stay were the burgers at 'Boom Burger', the attached restaurant. They were delicious. Everything else was terrible to the point that I had to comment. Don't ever stay here!

my worst experience at all.

Hotel was clean and everyone helpful and polite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay. I stayed at a hotel in that area before, which cost more and had more stars, and it didn't compare to this place.

Doing a lot of construction at the moment, a lot of noise and smells. Hard to find parking during weekends because of attached club and hotel does nothing to guarentee parking for thier guests, aside from putting up signs that obviously do not work.

The hotel is still undergoing renovations but they are mostl;y contained and clearly marked, The room was clean but is showing some age thus the need for renovation. The front lobby is a little tricky to find and it is right near a highway but for a clean, basic place to stay in that area, it is fine for the price. I stay there once a week or so on business.

The hotel was good but I specifically asked if the indoor pool was open before I booked the hotel room. The purpose for the weekend stay at the hotel was so that my grandsons could enjoy the pool. They were very disappointed when we asked about the pool and was told that it was closed due to renovations. All of this could have been avoid if I was giving that information before booking the room.

Presently the facility is not handicap friendly. I noticed this when navigating through the renovation areas on my way to breakfast. Room was not bad, stay was not bad at all. Easy access to NJ Turnpike.

the hotel is a mess, the lobby tiles are missing in places so u have to be careful while you are walking to the elevator, there is no raling on the stairs from the second floor to the breakfast room and it is a dismal hallway and all the doors but one were locked to the breakfast room...and there was a loud noise from a motor or machinery droning on and on all night...but the rate was cheap

In general room quality, cleanliness service is to be expected from a 15+ year old Ramada Inn. However, the entire building was under construction, which I didn't expect. Don't expect access to fitness center or pool anytime soon. And expect plastic sheeting everywhere. For a one-night stopover, not that bad. However, if you are planning to stay a couple nights on business / visiting, try one of the hotels in the Paramus area.

Hotel was under renovations no where on there web site did it state this. The pool was closed and the breakfast was subpar. Not to mention the shower was cold then hot then cold again.

I went to visit families, it was very convenient to me and allow me to go shopping to the two malls close by when I was not with my family, it has a few restaurants around it and I saw the bus that take you to NY city just across the parking lot very convenient.

Very nice hotel for the money paid. This hotel was undergoing renovation while I was visiting so maybe that's why the price was so reasonable.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times & have been satisfied. I wish Hotels.Com or the Hotel itself would have told us of the extensive renovation. All facilities were closed. They did provide a continental breakfast which I did not partake. Just kind of messy walking in with luggage & seeing 1/2 the lobby ripped up and the other 1/2 with tiles. Of course, no lobby furniture and plaster dust everywhere. I asked for a King NonSmoking room & was given 2 queen bed non smoking. Not enough to make a fuss. I would recommend this hotel after the renovations are complete.

When I walked in to the lobby, entire 1st floor was destroyed by flood. I understand natural disaster happens but customers should have been fore warned of this. This was no issue. 6:30 in the morning, a room catches on fire and all had to be evacuated. Hotel staff made it sound like nothing really happened and it's no big deal. How is this no big deal. Most of the hotel guest were out in the cold in pajamas. It was 38 outside. We were outside for close to an hour. I like to know how is this not a big deal. Anyways, stay away from this hotel. This my first bad review on any hotel

Aside for the renovation of the lobby and first floor, and the fire alarm which kept us outside for an hour, our stay was comfortable. Like the signs on the hiways say during construction, "The inconvenience is temporary; the improvement is permanent!" I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future.

The alarms sound off every couple of hours due to construction.

WE BOOKED A TWO-DAY STAY BUT LEFT AFTER ONE NIGHT. VERY DIRTY.

Hotel was in renovation, so i can't really say it was that bad, but costumer service was bad. It's just good for 1 day stay.

Hello, This hotel wa under constructions. I think the customer should be aware of these things prior to booking.

Construction in Lobby and first floor....I would wait until this is complete before staying there!

The good: Nice modern room. Clean, no bugs. The not so good: Breakfast room small and overcrowded. Not a great selection of items. The bad: Lobby was under renovation and not appealing. Parking near an entrance was unobtainable. Not enough handicap parking spaces. The strange: Hotel name and sign not easily seen from the road, I passed it twice.

I was not told that the hotel was being remodeled. I choose the Ramada for price and the fact that it had a indoor swimming pool and a fitness center. Neither of those amenities were available due to the remodeling. I was not disappointed with the hotel but rather Hotels. com for not telling me that the facility was under construction.

the entire 1st floor including the lobby was flooded with 29 inches of water during the irene flooding. they are redoing the whole first floor. our room was on the 5th floor, and as expected staying at the ramada inn, the room was very nice. our stay was like a mini vacation. i willstay at this hotel any time . lko rockland county, ny.

The hotels main floor and lobby were stripped of carpet and interior walls due to a recent flood.We were not given any notice or apology for the condition the hotel was in.However the room and service was ok for the price.

The hotel did not mentioned it was being renovated. Pool/Restaurant/gym all closed. Lobby ripped up with no walls or rugs. All the fire doors had been propped open with towels. Ice machines broken. Security doors open............do I need to say more. A disaster of which the front desk staff seemed oblivious to while moving at a snail's pace when 4 people waiting. Don't EVER go there.

Stayed before but the place has really gotten worse ,, maybe since Irene,, but I can't stand seeing little creatures scurring around,,,

The hotels bottom floor was under renovations and the whole building smelled like mold. I was very sad to check into a hotel in that state. The room was clean enough but the beds were not set-up nor made to a very nice standard. ( not like most hotels I've stayed in). The hotel might of flooded or something but no where was there a warning or info stating it was being worked on or hathat it had been flooded!? The breakfast bar was just as basic as could be so don't expect much. I think in the future I will call before using this one. Was a good bargin stay with out a lot of fluff!!!

The front desk clerk took a minute or so before venturing out to check us in, was not pleased at that. Apparently they suffered 1st floor damage in the recent flooding of the area. Should have had a sign on the front door warning folks of the horrible musty smell when you walk in. You can see they are in the process of doing repairs. Still anyone with mold allergies would have gotten ill. Older decor that really needs updating in the hallways & rooms. Room was very clean and the bed was comfy, so that was a plus. Not a bad place to stay, and right across from the mall, which made an unexpected last minute shopping trip easy.

This has been one of the WORST hotel experiences of my life!! The hotel is under renovation and the smell of MOLD is almost overpowering!! Everything from the ice machine to the vending machine to the gym equipment was OUT OF ORDER. The A/C unit in the room had MASKING TAPE over it so they could write "Hot" or "Cold" and the levers were broken off! In the middle of the night, the entire border above the window FELL DOWN!! There were young men sitting in front of the hotel which gave it an "unsafe" feel. I could have gone home to the Bronx if I wanted this environment!! It was AWFUL. I hid my laptop behind the microwave because it just seemed like a very unsafe hotel! I would NEVER recommend this to anyone!!

The hotel was very comfortable in a very convenient area.. The staff was also very helpful. Our stay was was pleasant at a very reasonable rate.

Overall, we enjoyed "most" of the amenities offered by the hotel. There are just a few comments that we'd like to make. (1) Your breakfast menu has very limited choices, especially if we compare it with what most hotels in your category offer. Your menu does not even include the breakfast regulars like sausage, bacon or ham, or even fruits! You have so many dining chairs & tables, but your menu choices are very limited! That's quite odd. Sadly, we didn't enjoy your breakfast. (2) Some of your exercise equipment are damaged or are, at least, not in good working condition. These equipment should be periodically checked & tuned up, and maintained well. Thank you.

Hotel was conveinient to where we needed to bne..but when we asked for 2 additional pillows..they were all out of pillows. Breakfast was a little on the whimpy side. Eggs were made from powder and milk was warm! we went out fro breakfast the 2nd morning. We also chose a hotel with a pool..except this one closed at 8pm...SERIOUSLY...we never got to use it!! Kids were very dissappointed!

I was not very sure if I chose a good hotel as we had planned a 3 day trip to NewYork but the hotels were very expensive in Newyork, then i found this hotel on the net. But after staying in this hotel I will recommend this hotel to everyone, Me, my wife and both my kids very happy with the hotel for the following reasons: 1- New Jersey Bus stop is located as you step out of the hotel. It takes 40 to 50 minutes to get to Newyork. 2- I could park my car free in the hotel so i dont have to worry about parking in Newyork and also i could avoid driving in the jam packed traffic. 3- Very affordable Hotel rent per night. I saved here and spent on Newyork passes which we could use to get free admission to any of the most popular 55 Newyork attractions including seeing Statue of Liberty. 4- There is a huge shopping mall which is walking distance from hotel where my wife loved shopping for the kids at Macy's. Thank You Ramada for good time we had in Newyork. I have spent all this time writing this review is just to express my appreciation for helpful staff and welcoming free breakfast hall.
