I found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful. Even though I had arrived at 1000am I was allowed to check in immediately.(which was a blessing after 4 nights on the train). Breakfast in the adjoining Frankies restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. The hotel is well within walking distance of all the attractions

Really classy inside the room, great bathroom also. Location is central to a lot of areas, nearby restaurants, gastown, etc.

The best attribute about this hotel is the great location. Immediately across the street from BC Place; close to the waterfront; close to mass transit; a nice walk to Yaletown and Gastown. Rooms are clean but small. Adjoining restaurant has a really nice buffet breakfast. If you are taking a Rocky Mountaineer train trip, a shuttle will come to the hotel to transport you to the train station.

This hotel was a great find. The staff was awesome, especially Daniel. They were there to offer guidance at all hours. You are not in the middle of downtown, but getting around was so easy. The neighborhood was good.

The Georgian was a superb hotel for the price we paid, located at the end of downtown Vancouver probably 200 yards from the stadium, maybe a quarter mile from the arena. The surrounding Yorktown neighborhood is upscale, not necessarily the fun capital of the city, but nice and quiet with some great restaurants and within easy walking distance from anywhere in downtown. The hotel staff was wonderful, super helpful and polite, the room was perfect for me and my wife, the most comfortable bed we've had in a hotel in some time. It's pretty, well-maintained, clean, and modern - couple that with the location and good pricetag and you've got a winner for downtown Vancouver.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Georgian Court for a concert at Rogers Arena. The location was perfect for walking to the venue and all around the downtown core, the staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was in good repair, clean and of great quality. The elevator was a bit odd, not quite acting the way we'd expect: i.e. showing that it was going down when it was going up and that sort of thing - a bit like a circus ride or something. We decided to make it fun and part of the adventure!

great location for Rogers Arena close to good restaurants room was very nice great help from staff would stay there again, and recommned it to family and friends

The staff at the hotel was super friendly and helpful. There is a free shuttle to downtown locations, you just give the driver a tip. Note that the description on the hotels.com site is incorrect, there is not a free pass to the Vancouver Aquatic Center.

Family of 3 returning from Alaskan cruise. We needed a hotel for one night after coming back from the cruise and needed to be close to the cruise terminal and the Amtrak station. We were able to walk from Canada Place to our hotel. We took a cab from the hotel to the Amtrak station for less than $10. Great location!! We found a McDonalds and Subway right around the corner. The beautiful Vancouver library is also just a short walk away. The hotel was nice and the staff was helpful. Had no problems with the room or the neighborhood. We were also a short walk from the SkyTrain station. We would use this hotel again.

Unfortunately there were rather noisy construction works at the sports complex opposite. Otherwise a highly recommendable hotel in this prce range.

While searching for 4-5 star hotels with a budget in mind, I came across this hotel. I mainly decided to stay here because it had good reviews and it was cheaper than some of the other hotels with the same star reviews. Parking is a pain in Vancouver and this hotel had the cheapest parking of any nice hotel I've seen. I liked this place. Free water in your room and free water on the front desk was very nice. The staff was friendly. The hotel was secure and safe, you need your key card in order to use the elevator. There are a lot of businessmen when I stayed here, not a bad thing, just interesting seeing the majority of the people staying here were for business. The area was good, a bit on the south/east side of Vancouver, so it's a walk to restaurants and bars. However, right around the block is cheap food and if you're going to see something at the BC Place and Rogers Arena it's literally across the street.

I live in the neighbourhood and have sent people to stay here several times in the past; this time I used it as a very close little get-away spot. It was terrific - easy check-in, terrific stay. I plan on continuing to recommend it to people when they are in the area.

It was a nice stay and great location to walk to the attractions. Would stay there again if we go back.

Every staff member I encountered at The Georgian was extremely personable, service-minded and helpful. The rooms were great. I had 7 people in my group and all of them were pleased with the accommodations. The location was very convenient too. ...and the price was reasonable, especially compared to what other hotels in the vicinity were charging. I would definitely go there again. Oh, and I loved the Aveda products in the room.

First time staying at this hotel. We came to the city for a hockey game, 5 minute walk to rogers arena. The staff was great, check-in took 3 minutes, the cleaning lady on our floor was friendly and fast. The bed, king size, was fantastic. The restraunt has changed we did not have dinner there but did have desert. which was very tastey. Will stay here again in a heartbeat.

While this hotel was not a bargain, it was inviting, clean, great views, superior check in and room serice, and QUIET!!! We were there the night of a hockey play off game and I guess they have classy guests because we heard no noise what so ever in the halls or from up or down stairs. Wondrful bathroom and fluff y towels and a comfortable bed. Great location too.

I hardly ever find a hotel I would stay at again but this one is a definite YES! My fiancee and I came up from Seattle for a Canucks game and were beyond happy with our hotel stay. It was literally less than 2 blocks from Rogers Arena and just 3 or so blocks from Robson street for great shopping. The entire hotel was very clean, comfortable beds, quality bathroom toiletries (which is rare), and actually looked like the pictures!! They have secure garage parking (for a small fee) and every staff member we came in contact with was beyond friendly and helpful! They exchanged currency for us and helped us find all the places we wanted to go around the city. They also just opened an Italian Restaurant next door (Frankie's) which was delicious. We both had pizzas and an appetizer and the food was great as was the service. I can't say enough good things about this place and we will definitely be staying here again!

The Georgian Court Hotel which is located in Vancouver downtown is one of the quiet hotels in the area i liked staying there and i would return back again if i had to.

We found the Georgian Court Perfect for our weekend get away. The room was perfect. The location was ideal and the value was totally there. On only problem is I now need a new bed at home because the one we slept in at the Georgian was so comfy.

The room and decor were good, it was very comfortable yet small. We did have trouble with the wireless but it was intermitten. The front staff were not helpful at all. No restaurants at the time and the front desk staff were again not helpful, we used our taxi driver as our guide instead. Conclusion I would not stay there again.

This is a fantastic hotel if you're attending anything at Rogers Arena or BC Place Stadium. Many other venues close by as well. Easy walking distance to shopping downtown, Chinatown is a ten minute walk away. Staff are friendly, smiling and helpful. The cleaning schedules don't appear to include a thorough clean which accounts for my lower rating. (heavy dust on the plug outlets, etc.)

The room was great. The staff were not helpful at all and the restaurants next to the hotel were closed. Neighborhood was ok.

I've stayed here numerous times over the last 2 years. A little gem in Vancouver. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, convenient with a staff that is vibrant and helpful.

Staff is wonderful and location location location!!... walking distance to everything.

By using the hotels.com web site I was able to calculate the distance to Rogers Arena And chose a Hotel that was with in walking distance to the Arena for the BonJovi Concert. The hotel was very very nice clean comfortable with luxurious clean white custom linens. It was very safe. My car was secured in the lower level. The staff was very nice and very accommodating in every way. My friend and I had a wonderful safe girls weekend. I would love to stay there again. Highly recommend the Hotel as well as Hotel.com Barbara B.
