Comfort Inn Capital Beltway/I-95 North - بيلتس فيل

In the past, I stayed at a Comfort Inn and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the establishment and the level of customer service I received. I selected the Comfort Inn simply because it was conveniently located to my meeting location and offered free Wifi and breakfast. I should have known better than to sacrifice quality for convenience. The establishment clearly needs an upgrade; a cheap flat screen could not mask the stained carpeting or musky smell in the elevators. The rooms do not have a thermostat, so I had to decide if I wanted to sweat through the night or burrow under the pillows to muffle the sound of the air conditioning unit that rattled most of the night. I finally turned the unit off at 4:00 am and then could hear the T.V. playing in the next room. The towels were stiff and discolored. The free Wifi was a disappointment, it was incredibly slow. I can’t comment on the breakfast, after a restless night just wanted to check out and be on my way.

This is a good value for the area esp when you book the room for under $100. I have stayed here 5 times this year. Decent accomodations. Recently, hot eggs and sausage were added to the breakfast buffet (along with waffles). Pay movies (no adult content) available. Good wireless internet. Free parking. Everything you would expect at a Comfort Inn. 2.5 star-rating is appropriate. Grocery store, CVS and restaurants across the parking lot. Movie theater across the street. Convienent to I-95 and the beltway.

The location is great. Right of the exit but the Front Desk staff have no sense of customer service. Must serve a clientele that care for no service. I would not fault the staff, I think they lack proper training! The rest of the staff I met in the hallways were very friendly with a smile and eye contact. I would not stay here again. Would not recommend!

I have stayed here many times. This was the only time which I had noisy neighbors. I realized this was not going to work immediately, called the front desk and they moved me to another room which was quiet. Floors 3-5 are in the main building and appear to be newer and quieter than floors 1-2 which are on each side and surround the outdoor pool. The room heater was noisy, but wall-mount units always are.

I stay here almost every month. What you expect from a ComfortInn. Good value, comfortable, free internet, free breakfast. Decent area, convenient to I-95 and the north beltway area. There is a private party catering establishment next door that had a outdoor tent setup for holiday parties. I could hear music from there untill about 11pm. Not a problem and noise from this establishment (or at the hotel) has never been a problem in my other numerous stays at this hotel. My TV remote was dead but the hotel staff brought be another promptly. Note that I seem to get a better room when I book through hotels.com than directly??

Ok place to stay. MUCH cheaper than in DC. Free parking is nice. Area could be confusing to navigate if not familar with area. All in all, I would stay here again. Friendly service at check in and check out.

Mary at the front desk was awesome!! She made sure that my room was ready when I arrived. She made feel right at home.

This is my fourth stay in as many months. Convienent, great value, clean. Exactly what you would expect from a Comfort Inn. Earlier I mentioned the lack of black-out drapes but the last 2 rooms I rented DID have them. Breakfast is contential with hot waffles but no other hot food. Free internet and breakfast and 30% cheaper than the Sheraton across the street. Caters to tourism groups but noise never seems to be an issue. Hard to see the entrance from the road so check a online map first (street map pic on hotels.com) for the turn-in off of Beltsville Drive. Decent-enough area and convienent to I-95.

The room was clean and nice. But, the hallways and elevator were pretty messy. Breakfast was very slim, and the service was nothing special, but not terrible. Overall, it's probably the best deal for a 3 star hotel in the area, and as long as you can deal with the messy elevator and hallways it's a fine place to stay.

A little far from the city, but near gas, groceries, drugstore, and Blimpie sandwiches.

Overall I was satisfied with the room. I was placed in a room for handicapped people without being asked if I needed that. The shower caused a huge mess every time I used it. i wondered how a handicapped person could have dealt with the deluge of water on the bathroom floor. The front desk people were very helpful in giving directions. They did seem to be in Kahoots with tour companies as we had difficulty getting DC maps.The staff in the breakfast room were very friendly. I wondered why there was only one trash can in the room and that located very inconveniently. There is a great pool-outdoor- but the hours were awkward. i was there to see DC. We had a car and could get to the Greenbelt metro station easily. I do not know how one would have accessed DC without the car. The Metro was fantastic so if you have a car and can get to a station I would recommend the hotel if not then I would be careful because access to Metro in DC is essential.

My wife and I were passing thru the DC area from Florida on the way to NYC and decided to tour some of the sites in DC for a few hours. We needed a hotel that would be close to one of the metro park and rides and this hotel worked out wonderfully. We toured DC and made a fast ride to the hotel and enjoyed a very relaxing evening and great waffle breakfast before heading on to NY.

The staff at this hotel is excellent, however housekeeping and maintenance leave a lot to be desired. Rooms are very large, but there are never towels, coffee is often forgotten or out of stock and computers and printers in business center were broken. Probably the only redeeming factor was the fact that the front desk people were so wonderful.

Stayed one night and it was very pleasant. Room was done up nicely, front desk staff was friendly.

ThisComfort Inn was fair overall. The renovation gave the exterior a nice appearance but the rooms were old. Slight musty smell and no elevator service to the second floor. Just not what we would expect from a Comfort Inn.

I did not like the way that the curtain was set up, I did not have the leisure to close my curtain during the day time, so the sun would always be shinning in the room. They need to implent curtains so that you can close them up at your leisure and also for privacy reasosn.

This was perfect for us! The room was clean, the service at the front desk was excellent. The location was a little farther from the University of MD than we expected, but it worked out just fine. We ended up so close to the interstate that we were able to visit Baltimore -- which was a great short trip! Everything was perfect, however, we received a wake-up call at 7:30 a.m. which we definitely didn't schedule. I guess that happens...

We have made a reservation through hotels.com and got the rooms prepaid, and then the hotel asked us to present a credit card for incidental charges. Later we found they have changed that card for the room rate, but it was already paid for. They need to get their accounting straight.

It is in a good location and at a reasonable cost for what you get. Attitude of the service is lacking often though. Staff is often annoyed if you ask for something.

The nonsmoking room I had reserved had been smoked in. They were able to move me to a nonsmoking room the first night I stayed, but not for the second night. Additionally, on the second night, they first assigned me to a room which was in the middle of a massive repair job, before I had to spend the night in a room that had been smoked in. The hotel management needs to get their act together before I would consider staying here again.

Got a room without a desk or trashcan - was told it would be rectified in a few minutes - 45 minutes and several phone calls later desk was being assembled. Key cards didn't work - gave up renewing them after four sets - maintenance guy said there wasn't anything he could do - he stood there with a straight face and tried my key 20 times until the door opened, then said "see, it works." Hallways were dirty, carpet in the room felt disgusting under bare feet. Needed a bridge for wireless reception, but they had no ethernet cables and first bridge (after I bought my own cable) was not working at all. Second bridge powered up but could not establish link with router - gave up on internet access.

it was was worth of money we spent for night. Rooms are neat and clean.

Location is good for catching the "Metro" if you don't mind merging. Plenty of fast food restaurants located within walking distance. Breakfast was satisfactory.
