Rooms were just remodeled with nice colors and finishes. Very nice for an economical hotel.

The room and building were clean and furnishing relatively up to date. Nice complimentary continental breakfast. It can be a little difficult to find, right next to the Outback. Would recommend to those looking for a reasonably priced option that is clean and maintained.

Everyone was nice! It was clean and safe. Look for it on the top of the hill. Our Garmin said we were there when we were on the lower road and almost got lost until we called the front desk and they saved us. Thank You!

this is a very nice hotel. It is clean and well kept. the price ws right and the quality was just as good as higher priced hotels.

Our hotel of choice when we travel to Danbury. ALWAYS good customer service, hotel is clean and well maintained and very convenient Outback Restaurant attached to hotel. We recently had family go through the unpredicted snow storm in October and AGAIN this hotel stepped up and assisted the stranded powerless neighbors with accomodations to help them get through the ordeal. They did an AMAZING job of making sure that everyone was comfortable and safe, our family included. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel when staying in this area. You won't be sorry AND the price is right!!

Great breakfast. Convienent location.

We stayed two nights at La Quinta Inn & Suites and had a very pleasant stay. Although a little hard to find with our G.P.S. once found it was easy to come and go.Very good service at check in and check out and has a coin operated laundry for the travellers use. our. Our room had a king bed that was very comfortable and gave a good nights sleep. Water pressure was good and the room was large enough to relax in . A bonus is that there is a Outback Steakhouse right next door. Would stay again if in the area.

I have stayed at four or five hotels in the Bethel/Danbury area and aside from the far pricier Hilton Garden Inn in Danbury, La Quinta is by far the nicest. Very very clean rooms and lobby area, nice staff, not too noisy, simple but clean gym, laundry facilities. The price is right. I will stay here more often now that I found it

We would go back! Compares favorably with the nearby hotels at a good price. Clean and comfortable with a good staff.

This was one of the best hotels we've found with Hotels.com. Staff, especially the operations manager, was great and the room was exceptional for the price. We will go back again!

A friend booked me into the Super 8 in Danbury (I came in from FL an they live in NJ) I arrived 9/22 and found the room and the area to be disgusting. The room smelled like a dirty bathroom and everything was seedy and gross. I called hotels.com - whom we'd booked through, who informed me I should change hotels immediately, which we did. Thankfully there was la Quinta not too far away. We arrived too find a clean hotel, helpful staff and a wonderful room with fresh linens and everything a traveler expects. My mistake was okaying a different hotel which, I will NEVER do again. la Quinta is always up to par and I very much appreciate it.

This hotel is competitive with newer remodeled hotel chains. Well appointed modern look. Nice job.

good value. very varied continental breakfast. since La Quinta took over major improvement since previous management ( many years ago ).

We booked a room last minute as we were evacuated in the wake of hurrican Irene. We had stayed at the Stamford La Quinta previously (again, because of a storm) so we knew what to expect. The comforts are basic, and the breakfast is a bit of a joke, but rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, the service is friendly and it's value for money. No complaints at all.

This was a nightmare Evrthing that was promised was not kept to nast attidue and overall bad service i would rather sleep in the street promised a rollaway when we arrive they claimed they dont allow rollways in room!!!!

The Danbury La Quinta is a great place after you find it. The town is not doing much to help people find the hotel if they are coming off the interstate. Fortunately, we were able to be talked in by the person on the front desk. Great place thereafter and right next to an Outback.

We were disappointed by the fact that the pool was out of commission and seemed to have been that way for along time. Untended and unappealing to view. Room smelled really weird. Unusual chemicals used for cleaning we guessed. Our Garmin had difficulty finding the exact location of this property coming from the west.

I arrived late and tired. The guy at the front desk was very nice and efficent. After I told him I was with someone with a walker, he moved my room to handicapped access even though I didn't ask. ( I just wanted to be sure or the elevator.) The room was very convinent and accesable with a wide entry and walk in shower. Aside from the wonderful service, the room was very nice and the price was right! I would easily stay again. -

We stayed there two days, the room was a great size for us, and very clean. The breakfast was nice, nothing spectacular for a continental breakfast. Unfortunately the pool was under repairs. The staff was very freindly and very helpful. We will be staying there again!

We took a mini trip to see the Grandchildren. It was great to come back at the end of the day to clean pleasant room. The Continental Breakfast helped us start the day out well. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Yes I will go back!

I arrived earlier than I thought I would and the gentlemen who checked me in early was very accomodating. I was very appreciative that he got me the room I reserved as quickly as he did. The two nights were just what we were looking for: clean room, comfortable beds, nice shower and a reasonable rate. We truly enjoyed our stay.

This hotel was pleasant and comfortable, and our room was available even though we arrived early. The bed was just firm enough. Breakfast included a wide range of cold foods as well as waffles made on the spot. However, it was a disappointment that the pool was not open. Also, neither our GPS unit nor Googlemaps could locate this property correctly using the address. The map from the hotel website shows this property where it really is, north of the highway.

I was impressed by the condition of the hotel. The room and bathroom seemed very new, clean and made me feel comfortable. The breakfast was also standard free breakfast fare and was fine. And the wifi worked well. The only complaint was from my colleague, who had another guest try to come into his room. Apparently the front desk staff had checked two people into the same room. Luckily, he had the chain on the door, and the front desk sorted it out quickly. But the front desk staff seemed very friendly, and I am sure it was an honest (though odd) mistake. I'd recommend this hotel to others!

This hotel was a great price and good choice for my travel. The room was very large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. An Outback Steakhouse was located on the property and this was an added bonus as I arrived hungry and tired. The only negative here was the standard boxed breakfast, cold cereal, yogurt and juice. Not a fresh item in sight. Other than the breakfast this was a terrific place to stay.

It was just what we needed; a convenient hotel room close to Danbury where we could rest at night to continue our errands in the morning. The continental breakfast was not bad (it had waffles and hard boiled eggs) and everyone was friendly and professional.

The hotel was beyond clean - very near the area we were in - a lovely breakfast the next morning and we didn't even have to look for a restaurant as The Outback Rest. was right next door.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was helpful and my room was great for the work I had to do there. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed the stay. The hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The lady who takes care of the breakfast area in the mornings was exceptional. She was so friendly and so helpful. The breakfast area was kept so clean. The food was really good too. We would go back again.

I tend to be pretty snobby about hotels and more often than not am not impressed with the budget/value hotel. But this place was great! Maybe it's because it's so new but it was really clean, the staff (well we only ever saw one young woman) was fantastic, everything was smooth and easy. And the price was great!

PLease see my note above. MapQuest gives WRONG directions and that makes the hotel very hard to find. Too new to be on any maps.

no probs here at all. off i-84 but not close enough for road noise to be an issue.
