We chose this hotel because it was cheap so we weren't going in with very high expectations. Our room was very comfortable. The only complaint we had was that the shower floor felt like you were going to fall through (we think they used a bath fitters like product on it). The pool/spa area was very nice. The breakfast was fantastic for a free breakfast. The hotel was completely booked on at least one of the nights we stayed & other than a little noise from people walking down the hall, it was very quiet. They must have good insulation between rooms. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at the Ramada.

This hotel was great. We were travelling with 3 teenager and they enjoyed the pool and hottub. Also we had connecting rooms, so they had their own space. Breakfast was great ! and free from 6 to 9 am. The only I advise is when you check in ask they how far your room is. As we were walking down very long hall ways with all are suit cases to the other end building. Then we saw we could have driven are car around to side of the building instead of going through the building.

The hotel is very central to shopping. Rooms were clean and staff very helpful and friendly especially Patrick in the dining room. would use this hotel again.

Great place to stay for the cost; the staff was very friendly. Only problems; the towels are absurdly thin and small & the King Size bed seems a bit short ( almost better sleeping width-wise ). For one overnight in the Syracuse area though, it's perfect.

Nice room, well appointed, no funny smells. Breakfast buffet was very nice, wait staff was attentive. Close proximity to Syracuse University.

Excellent value

The ramada was one of the best hotels I've stayed in, 4 miles from the carrier done, the breakfast was delicious, our room was perfect.. I honestly don't have a single complaint. Very clean, welcoming employees, I will continue to stay there when I am in the area. The room prices are very reasonable.

this hotel is definately of a five star rating. it wasextremely clean, comfortable and had a terrific buffet breakfast. would definately star there again and again and refer several of my friends and family to do so.

The only negative thing I can say is that we requested a queen size bed and got a regular one. We got in late and it wasn't worth complaining about but I think they would have changed it if we had complained. Otherwise all was very nice. The staff was very pleasant, the breakfast buffet was ample (and they threw this in as a freebie), the room was comfortable, and I felt we really got our money's worth. Oh, the pool was very enjoyable too.

This hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We also love the convenience of being so close to the thruway exit and to Tully's Restaurant, which we really enjoyed. It was also very close to our shopping excursions that we came for. We came for our second time and will surely come back again.

I found the Ramada Inn - Syracuse to be a very fine place to stay. I have but one complaint. When I went on-line to see the amenities offered, it said that breakfast would be available, but at our own cost. I went ahead and bought goods for my party to have for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in and the desk attendant gave me breakfast coupons for the 2 mornings that we would be there. I think that they should change the amenities offered, so people can plan on enjoying the wonderful breakfast buffet and not bring breakfast food from home. My sisters and I are planning on another shopping trip next year, and plan on staying at the Ramada Inn - Syracuse.

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. A little updating needed though. The door had a gap about 3 inches off the floor which made it extremely easy to hear other people and noise from the hallway. The office chair in our room needed to be cleaned, It was fabric but had awful cloudy looking stains on it. The complimentary breakfast was amazing, Eggs home fries, bacon, ham, sausage, french toast, cereals,and lots of juices etc. Over all not a bad place at a fair price.

Not a lot of services off this Exit. But close enough to other Exits to get Services

We stayed for one night as we were heading to Philadelphia on vacation. It's a nice, clean, quiet hotel, and there is a restaurant onsite. We were checking out very early the next morning (before 5am) and the hotel arranged for their shuttle van to drive us to where we needed to be, and even offered us some coffee and snacks (even though their breakfast didn't start for another couple of hours!) If we ever return to Syracuse, we'd stay again!

Clean hotel and very friendly staff from the get go. Would definitely stay there again.

It was okay. I wouldnt pay more than the price i paid for it. A bit small but very nice. Pool was very clean. Nice front desk girls. Breakfast was GREAT. Just wish there was a mini fridge or microwave..But overall I'd stay again. The NYS fair was a short ride

We enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Inn in Mattydale NY, near the airport. It was convenient, comfortable and very clean. We especially enjoyed the restaurant, the food was good and service was prompt.

I was so surprised and happy to see how well taken care of this hotel is. From the clean room, that's very important to me.To the great breakfast we had in the morning. You can see that pride that goes thru that hotel. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who demands a clean and friendly place to stay..

From Ontario Canada - husband & I stayed 1 nite on way to PA vacation.Close to shopping, located in ok area close to get back onto hwy. Room very clean,little outdated but not a problem. Windos open. We were on 1st floor, had to use entrance door 4 to get to our room. Was a long walk to room, even a lot lot longer walk to front desk, bar, restaurant and to the pool. Pool water was cold, hot tub was great. Compementary breakfast was GREAT at this location. Food was plentiful, hot and not dried out. Service in restaurant was good same as the guy at the bar, he gave me free soft drinks..lol Was probably cause I made my husband tip well. A beer was only 3.75 One downfall to the rooms is that there are no fridges or microwaves. We had stuff in coolers that had to be kept cool. Didn't know that you have to request a fridge upon booking, we were told after and there's a nightly fee. We might re-book one night for our trip back home and this time request a fridge...

The hotel staff was pleasant, and the room was clean but somewhat dated. The hotel setup is odd in that you walk very long hallways to get to your room. I would not recommend this for someone with a disability. The breakfast was stone cold both days. Not quite sure it would have met health code for temperature, this was unfortunate since the selection was great and the waitress was so nice. The noise between rooms was bad, and every door was heard when opened and closed. Overall not bad for the price.

The pool and hot tub were lovely and a lot of fun to use. The hot breakfast buffet was delicious. Nice staff.

The clock in the room was 15 minutes slow, but the real problem was trying to connect to their wireless service. When I couldn't log on, I called the front desk who restarted the router. When that didn't help, they recommended that I call their internet company. After being on hold for over 20 minutes and giving up, I spoke again to the front desk who asked me to check the connection from another room. When that didn't work, they asked me to call the internet company again, but gave me a card (that should have been in the room, but was not) with a different number, who I spoke to after waiting another 20 minutes, had to call back after 20 minutes and wait another 20 minutes to speak with someone again, and finally it was fixed. It took me over 3 hours to be able to sign on using the wireless, a problem that would have taken MUCH less time IF the front desk had asked me right away whether I had a PC or a MAC and if they had given me the correct number to call. Bottom line, full refund.

I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive to stay at a 2 star hotel since I normally stay at 4 star plus hotels, however I was pleasantly surprised with the Ramada. Hotel was clean, staff was pleasant, complimentary breakfast was awesome and overall I was impressed with the amenities. Hotel has a nice indoor pool, hot tub & fitness centre. Since I went primarily for shopping the location was amazing as it was less than 5 minutes to the carousel mall & had a few restaurants and a gas station very close by. Overall a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

My experience with this hotel was a great one. The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. The front desk was extrememly helpful to us out of towners (gave us a map and directions to things close by). We also received complimentary breakfast which was a nice little surprise. I would definitely recommend this hotel as well as stay there if i am ever in town again.

I've stayed at the Ramada Inn, Buckley Rd. Syracuse several times and have always found it clean, comfortable and pleasant. It is an easy access to two major interstates and major Syracuse attractions. The parking area allows easy access for unloading and loading the car. The restaurant on premises is excellent!! The rooms are very traveller friendly with irons, hair dryers and in room coffee. The staff has always been extremely poilite and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel for any traveler

Nice room, courteous staff. Good price. Everything we needed!

Our trip was a shopping trip. We were pleased with the complimentary breakfast and no issues with the room. We had asked for a non-smoking room and were placed on the non-smoking floor. Despite the fact that all rooms were non-smoking, the hallways had a stale smoke odor to them which was a bit unpleasant. Overall the room served our purpose: a place to lay our heads after a long day of shopping. We would stay again.

We usually stay here the night before we leave for a trip trip with an early departure. They also let us leave our car there and shuttle us to and from the airport. But, like everybody else, I guess they have decided they should charge extra for whatever else they can to make money. They accept no responsibility if there is damage to your vehicle so I don't know why they think people should pay for leaving their car there. We have decided to check else where for our next trip.

We stayed 8 nights and had a very good stay. The Hotel is close to the major highways and the airport. The hotel was quiet for the most part, and the food on the breakfast buffet was excellent, especially on Sunday. The pool was closed for repairs for the first three days, but the Ramada staff made arrangements for us to use the pool at a sister hotel around the corner. When we checked out, we left something in our room and the staff cheerfully agreed to mail it to us. Everyone was friendly and all of our needs were met.

The Ramada was very easy to find right off the highway. The staff was extremely friendly. When I couldn't remember our room # an employee was helpful in confirming our room and making sure we were able to get in. The buffet was average but it was included with the stay. For the price, location and friendly staff, we would stay here again.

For the past 4 years we always stayed within blocks of the university. However during graduation weekend it was impossible to get a reservation. Our alternative was to go a few miles from the school and to our suprise what a great find. I can't say enough about this Ramada. Great location... Right off highway. Clean, comfortable, accomodating and free wonderful breakfast buffet. SYR parents you must check this hotel out.

For the price and easy off/on access to the highway, this place fits the bill. The included breakfast is above average (staff always really pleasant). I've tended to return here because the beds are pretty comfortable and they now have an indoor pool/jacuzzi, which is a great reward after hours on the road (and tires out kids). The biggest issue for us has been the level of noise from other guests. The hallway doors do nothing it seems but amplify other doors slamming, kids running, loud talking occurring in the hall. We could also hear almost ever word of an early morning multi-party rendezvous in the room next to ours. I know that the hotel can't guarantee the consideration of other guests, but they could make some improvements to soundproofing when they renovate.
