Excellent hotel, clean, comfortable with a friendly staff.

This is the second time I have stayed at this Hotel. It was clean, up to date in design and decorations. It is on the main drag into down town burlington and right off the highway. The front desk staff were friendly. The only complaint I have is that the bath tub is very slippery when getting in and out of the shower and it slopes down. Other than that great hotel and will stay here again~

Being handed two warm cookies when I checked in was a pleasant surprise. My wife and I did not feel that we needed room service so we just left the do not disturb sign on the door. Later that evening when we returned to our room there was a plastic bag hanging on our door with fresh towels and accessories. A very nice touch. Quite convenient to downtown Burlington. Nice looking pool and much better fitness facility than I normally have experienced at other hotels.

Our family loved staying at the Doubletree, especially the children. They loved the pool although the parents would have loved the pool to be a bit warmer!

Staff treated us like second class reservation. King bed had no fitted sheet, just two flat sheets and one blanket, no comforter. Had to call twice for blanket and pillows for the sofabed for the kids. Room had a funny smell. Cold pool and hottub out of order.

We choose the DoubleTree for a stay while visiting UVM, and it was a good choice. Clean, comfortable, close to campus and reasonably priced.

Housekeeping at the hotel, when it is done, was of top quality. However, most times we were back at the room before they had made it up so we would just have them skip it. They never got to it until after 3:30 PM and one day they didn't show up till almost 5:00 It would be much appreciated if they could get to it sometime in the arly afternoon. This has been an issue each time we have stayed here.

They give you warm cookies upon arrival... So good!

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend. The beds were really comfy, and the location can't be beat. It's right off the highway and just a quick drive to downtown Burlington. If you want to go to the attached restaurant for brunch on the weekend, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. The food is pretty good, but you'll wait for 15 or 20 minutes if you don't call ahead.

Everything was clean, staff were friendly and courteous. Location was just outside the downtown area, near a mall, and had several restaurant options nearby (everything from fast food to upper-scale dining). Only complaint was that the cleaning ladies didn't get to the room until 3pm. Other than that everything was great.

I needed to stay for business for the week and I could not have selected a more perfect place. Very professional and fast check-in. They even put me on the first floor since I had so many bags to lug (computers, clothes, shoes, etc). I didn't even have to ask. Food from Trader Dukes (hotel restaurant) was very good. Woman who took my room service order had a fantastic personality. When I did not order a drink she added a water with lemon just in case. Good sized portions and delivery to my room was 10 minutes (I kid you not). I ordered Chinese takeout one night from a local place and they did not give me utensils. Trader Dukes restaurant in the hotel had no problem giving me a full set of silverware wrapped in a linen napkin. I felt very safe. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the Burlington area. Although it is on "the strip" on Rte 2, it was very quiet in my room and 2 seconds from I89.

My boyfriend and I stayed here with our small dog in early January, between stays at two other hotels (the Hilltop Inn near Montpelier - a disaster - and the Inn at Essex, which was nice but not as nice as expected). We didn't expect much from the Double Tree - just a clean room at a decent price - but they surprised us again and again with their customer service. First, the free cookies. I know it's a corporate gimmick, but those cookies are delicious. Then, they gave us free breakfast just for letting them know where we were (in the hotel) when the dog was in the room alone, with a sweet hand-written thank you note. Maybe they come up with a reason to "thank" everyone, but either way, it was a really nice thing to find tucked under our door. The food at Duke's was better than it needed to be (we ate there twice), if not spectacular (normal hotel fare). Breakfast was so good - fresh fruit, lots of extra teas, etc. The hot tub was very hot, but we like it that way - and they have a nice size, clean pool which a small family seemed to be enjoying. Overall, amid disappointing experiences at other hotels on this trip, the Double Tree really impressed us. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

We loved the fact that our dog could stay with us. We were in town to visit our son who could not come home for Christmas. How great it was to have us all together including our pet! We were able to leave the dog in the room while we ate together at the attached restaurant, and when we used the pool. Just be prepared that the rooms are less spacious than newer hotels.

A stone's throw from the airport. Clean, modern furnishings and friendly staff. Great for a pre-trip stopover.

Nice comfortable and (borderline) luxury hotel for a descent price, right in the suburb of Burlington next to the 89 which is ideal for travel. They accept dogs, which was great for us, as long as you never leave them alone in your room (they probably bark and neighbours will complain no doubt). Room as good, beds comfortable and TV is HD. Pool was nice enough, snacks and drinks from the machines were surprisingly comfortable, room service a little steep but ok. All in all, a nice play to stay!

Our stay was good in general ,with nice staff. We asked for an additional bed, They answered our request, we asked for Microwave They answered our demand, there was a swimming pool and Jacuzzi, but there was still some issues , there was a smell in the bathroom, even though it was clean, the water of Jacuzzi wasn't clean, and when we asked for an extra bed we got it with dirty sheets, I hoped if they have free breakfast.

The hotel was ideally located for shopping and a minute away from the highway. Warm cookies were a welcome treat when we checked in. The beds were very comfortable, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little small but all in all a clean welcoming environment. A very pleasant stay.

We stayed on Christmas Eve and were treated like the only people in the hotel. It was very clean, a beautiful room and I would like to add, there were very nice pillows! There were 4 pillows per bed. (we had a room with 2 beds) I recommend this hotel with no reservations.

I was very happy with the whole kit-n-caboodle! My husband and I met up there for Christmas shopping and time together. It was all very convenient and comfortable.

There were pros & cons about the hotel. The location was good, the staff was friendly, but when we discussed a problem with how unhappy we were about the room and things, they were not receptive to us. We had to call them to clean the room, it was after 1 p.m. They did come right away to clean it. The next day the toilet had a problem, and the lever on the shower head came off. The man did come right away to fix it. There were little things that were annoying. I expected more from a Hilton Hotel.

clean, quite, good pricing, and good location.

Great staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were big and very clean. Great location and appreciated the shuttle to and from the airport. Restaurant was great too!!

Double Tree by Hilton Burlington. Great stay. The staff was great. Food, was good and the rooms were comfortable. Enjoy your stay.

Beds were way way too soft for me and my family. We had two double beds and they were both very soft and this made for an uncomfortable nights sleep especially for the two of us who shared one of the beds. Staff, food and cleanliness were excellant - peopld couldn't have been nicer or more helpful

Requested non smoking and this was not honored.. The odor was terrible and because the reservation was through hotels they did not change the room
