The hotel is located right on the waterfront in the Center of Kingston ON. The rooms are of a decent size, are very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. WiFi is free and rather fast. A little note on the downside is that parking fees on the next door parking lot should be included in the room price.

Kingston is still pretty quiet at this time. More of a summer place to go. May bugs are everywhere. Hotel was nice though.

Great Location to one of the best dining surroundings in Ontario. Hotel room was clean and comfy. Nice view on the Waterfront. Lot's of kids running around. Last weekend in March is Hockey Tournaments Season. FYI - didn't know this, but Parents of Queen's U students are entitled to a further discount? That's what they told me at the front desk. Bottom line, I give it a thumbs up.

Showing its age... too pricy for condition of room and services.

Great room that appeared tp be right on the water! The choice of pillows (soft or firm) was welcome. Staff was freindly, helpful and happy!

My girlfriend had never been to Kingston before so I chose this hotel for the great price and second to none location. You are right at the top of Princess Street and on the water. Can't beat it. Also insanely comfortable king size bed. There are a million restaurants, shops and bars in the immediate area. We both had an outstanding weekend. Have to mention that Chez Piggy was probably the best lunch we have had in a year or so. Would have went back for dinner the same day but we wanted to check out different places.

this is a modest holiday inn...the newer holiday inns are much better...this place is in need of a retro-fit...the only thing going for it is its' location...otherwise pick another hotel...

the equipment in the fitness facility is ancient and needs to be replaced asap

Although we arrived late we still received a lovely room with a beautiful view of the harbour. Staff was efficient and friendly and the view of the polar bear swim from our balcony the following morning was an unexpected surprise. However, one of the reasons we stayed at this location was the Sunday Brunch we had enjoyed on the upper floor on our previous stays. No such luck this time: they had moved the restaurant to the bottom floor with barely any view at all, vegies were hard, cool and overdone and the selection was barely adequate...Look elsewhere for this meal! The Radisson hotel just down the way, also on the water, has a lovely venue for brunch.

This is a great hotel for a short stay in Kingston. I was a bit surprised at the high price upon booking, but the staff genuinely care about guests' satisfaction and the hotel is in great condition. Nothing was out of place either time I stayed. The "business centre" is lacking - a computer and printer on a desk - but internet throughout the hotel makes that factor relatively immaterial. Great place to stay.

The ONLY reason I stay at the Holiday Inn is because I can bring my dog. I have stayed here before on numerous occasions and was glad to see a refrigerator in the room, but there were no other items like wine glasses, wine bottle opener, bath mat or microwave. Also I found the bathroom tiles disgusting as the grout between the tiles was black in most areas. There are cleaning solutions for this. Did not feel it was worth it for the price of the room.

I took two rooms one db and one king bed ,both water view. I am a little bit picky person same as my wife, and we don't care to pay little bit more to stay in a comfortable and clean hotel. I believe this hotel was clean and the view was OK. the staffs were 100% polite and friendly. the location is in the middle of the all tourist attractions. As Kingston is a expensive city the price was OK . my deal included breakfast. for sure it was the best breakfast in last 4 year in different hotels. so far it was a very pleasant stay. I did not use the swimming pool but my father and my brother told me that "the pool was good the water was warm however the changing room was freezing". in overall I think it was a very good experience.

Exactly what I hoped for. A clean hotel close to everything I wanted to do in Kingston. Staff answered any questions I had and were always very helpful.

Anniversary getaway to Kingston and stayed here at Holiday Inn Kingston. Lots of parking on hotel property. Effortless check-in. Pleasant staff and helpful. Room service punctual and food fresh. No problem with plumbing. Plenty of electrical outlets for mobile devices. Modern flat screen Samsung TV with HDMI, PC and S-video connection for easy hook-up of digital camera to view holiday pictures and video. Clean and cold fridge in-room. Carpets and furniture clean. THE MOST AMAZING BED I HAVE EVER SLEPT IN! Super comfortable mattress to suit any sleep style. Almost spent entire stay in bed cuz its so cozy! King suite has windows on two sides so able to see Kingston Harbor from inside. Walkout balcony has even more amazing view and is right in the action of ships coming and going. Hotel surrounded by restaurants, lounges and bars. No need for taxi or car. Outdoor patio restaurant featured live band and exciting view of Kingston harbor. Nothing bad to report. Stay was memorable and amazing. Would definitely recommend to others and will return here again in the future!

Just be sure that when you ask for a harbour view room that you can actually see the water.

I always stay here when I travel to Kingston on Business, ideal location for that and also right on the water downtown.

Very clean room, pleasant staff. Tub and sink did not drain very well. Not very pleasant. They did compensate us with a free breakfast for our party and an extended stay till 3:00. Aside from this the hotel was fine. Reasonably priced.

Our stay was very comfortable. The bed was so relaxing that we slept the whole afternoon and night. The swimming pool, spa, and sauna were very clean and enjoyable. We will for sure tell others to go to this Holiday Inn.

We enjoyed our stay 100%. Our king size bed was so comfy!!! The brown carpet in the bedroom looked durty. that's the only negative comment we have about our roo. Pubs, restaurants, shops, groceries are all at a really decent walking distanc. Timmy's and Starbuck are around the corner also. Holliday Inn offers also a great parking option. Overhall very satisfied

I found that the hotel was everything that I had hoped for. The staff were very helpful and polite. The room was clean and comfortable. A waitress in the morning was particularly friendly and welcoming.

There must have been a teen's hockey team (or something similar) in the hotel, because it was full of noisy teens, and their obnoxious parents. People sitting in the hallways, drinking beer, running around the pool, gym etc. Not what I look for in a hotel.

We had a great experience here. The reception staff was great and very helpful. We were in Kingston to attend a concert at the K-Roc Centre and had no idea how close the hotel was to the venue. We could see it right outside our window. The hotel is located on the waterfront and this makes for a very convenient location, as many attractions are within walking distance. Thanks for providing an in-room coffee maker, as it was nice to relax and enjoy that first morning cup of coffee without leaving our room. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone considering a visit to Kingston.

The air conditioining was old and fan too noise. Please replaced it by a newer version!

Couldn't have asked for anything else as far as the facilities themselves. The beds were amazingly comfortable, yet I did not get a good sleep as there was a party below our window until past 3:00 a.m.

Pros: location and view by the harbor. next to shopping district of kingston Cons: room carpet was extremely dirty. balcony was dirty and sticky too. toilet flushing slow and sometimes takes two flushes to work. only a handful of channels on tv. parking was extra. Now we paid quite a bit per room. At that price especially in an area filled with other hotels, you should expect more. Also I would not have complained so much if the star rating was actually 2 or 2 1/2 but because i paid a lot and it was ranked as three stars by hotels.com i expected more.

Good room with a nice view of the lake. Service was freindly and considerate. Bit of a conference hotel but didnt affect our stay at all.

今回小旅行で宿泊をしました。 部屋には前回宿泊した人の忘れ物やゴミが沢山落ちていました。特にベットの下！！！ジュウタンは湿っぽかった。 同行したペットが落ちていた食べ物を食べてた。 ペット同伴の部屋は特に掃除は丁寧にしてほしい！！ 場所は良かったです

Das Hotel ist bestimmt nicht das erste Haus am Platz, aber man kann durchaus eine ruhige Woche dort verbringen. Das Frühstück bietet eine ausreichende Auswahl und die Lage des Hotels ist gut geeignet, um die Gegend zu erkunden.
