We booked with Hotels.com an expensive superior room with king size bed.....but we got only a standard room with queen size bed! That was not really comfortable, because we payed the rate for the superior room in advance. No credit voucher or anything else from the hotel to excuse this error. On the other hand: the rooms are ok and very clean (hotel is from 1986). Breakfast is really very, very good and varied. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Location is perfect for trips to the city (metropolitan, bus) and calm during the night.

We stopped by on our trip from Sweden to Italy. Clean, good service, nice breakfast and parking under the hotel. Plus that you are able to stay 2 adults and 2 kids in the same room. Beds are enough big to manage this without problem. Minus that they charge for WiFi.

Poor personal sanitary comfort experience. Not recommendable

The hotel was amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was soooo comfortable. The beds were quite large and the pillows were terrific! We ate dinner in the restaraunt and the food was really good. The only downfall was the price of breakfast, at almost twenty euros.

I only arrived to the hotel to sleep so I can't really say if it's a good hotel or not. Our Ice Machine on the floor didn't work and it wasn't fixed during our stay. The price was very high because it was during the Oktoberfest Location was just perfect. Few minutes walk from U3 U-Bahn which got us to almost all POI.

A great place to sleep and realx after a long journey. Howerver I think that breakfast should be cheaper than dinner. EUR 19.- a cover is quite steep for breakfast especially since we had dinner in the same room for less than that. On the other hand, Munich offers more than enough alternatives to get a hearty breakfast at a reasonable price.

5 minutes walk to the subway and grocery shop.

Totally the hotel was comfort but relatively it was expensive especially that car parking and internet were not covered by room price!

Very good experience staying at this hotel. Clean room, good beds, TV with all the channels, polite and professional service. Neighborhood seems a bit boring but nice and quiet and most importantly you are close walking distance from the U-bahn which takes you staight into Munich central station, in 10 minutes or so. It is a perfect place to stay as a family with kids.

Pro: Good location, Good room quality Proximity to the U Machtifinger Strabe Bad: Breakfast buffet not worth 19 Euros, One of the reception staff member was rude.

Nice clean hotel, very helpful front desk. Close enough to subway stop and only a short ride to most tourist attractions. Breakfast was VERY expensive (19 Euro), so better off going to a local bakery.

Good hotel in a slightly removed location of Munich. Accessible via the U3 (connects to Marienplatz, Zoo, Sendlinger Tor) and about a 10 minute walk from the station. The hotel has generous sized rooms (we had 3 adults sharing and it was more than adequate). The bar down stairs was popular and staff friendly. The business centre was of good standard all though the internet access costs quite expensive. We did not have any breakfast deals in our rate and the cost at 18 euros was too steep with a hangover. All in all a good hotel from a reputable brand.

We stayed here for Oktoberfest. It was only about a block from the underground system. The room was clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced.

We booked the Holiday Inn in Munich knowing that it wasn't near the centre but that it's prices hadn't been inflated due to the Ocktober fest. Getting to the centre of Munich from the hotel is very easy, there is a underground station around the corner at you'll be in the centre within 20 minutes and, if you want, the Ocktober fest in 15. We didn't bother with breakfast at the hotel, it was easy enough to get food in Munich centre or there's a cafe up the road from the hotel, in the opposite direction to the underground. Alternatively get to the centre and grab some food in the market just behind the main square, very easy, cheap and good. We drove to Munich and parking was very easy, the area is a suburb with a few offices around and plenty of off street parking, don't bother with the hotels garage. We'd recommend this hotel, it has no flair, it's clean enough, all facilities are present, it's cheap (during Ocktober fest) and not hard to get to the Munich centre....it's a Holiday Inn.

While the staff were very friendly and spoke good English, the experience was a little disappointing compared to previous Holiday Inn's we had visited in Spain. The room was a little too small for comfort for two people. The bathroom had those nasty plastic squeeze things marked Lux or Dove to dispense soap and shampoo. This may be regarded as acceptable in an IBIS hotel but not in a supposedly four star hotel like Holiday Inn. The air conditioning worked well to cool the room but not to warm it up when it became colder in late September. We found the Bar restaurant food very good with excellent service and did not try the main restaurant. Breakfast was very expensive but was very nice with lots of hot and cold choice including excellent smoked salmon like most Holiday Inns. The hotel is a good walk to the nearest U-Bahn metro station and there was a shopping centre across the road from this which closed at 8pm. Near there however were some slightly questionable looking cafes where the streets were rather under-lit - not places to wander around after dark it seemed to us. The hotel provided a really good chauffeur service to the Airport which is at the other end of the city and the price for this seemed very good value.

Well it is a Holiday Inn so the overall hotel and expectaions were exactly as I had suspected. The biggest problem is that we asked for two beds and we only got one. Every hotel we checked into (6) we reserved a double and we got two beds. This hotel swears that their double just means a king bed. Honestly, I think they lied and ran out. I didn't complain too much because it was Octoberfest but they didn't even have anymore roll away spear beds to give us. They were helpful, but sort of rude. Again maybe just overwhemed with how busy it was. The hotel is not close to anything at all, BUT it was a quite neighborhood. It is a 5-8 min walk to the subway and then a 20 minute ride into the central part of Munich (Marianplatz). For booking late (4 months in advance), I wasn't going to complain.

nice and clean hotel, easy check-in very clean quiet neighbourhood less than 5 minutes to nearest U-Bahn station and about 15-20 min to town

This hotel was clean and comfortable, located in easy walking distance from the U-bahn station. The room was very basic but well maintained, and the hotel staff was consistently cordial and helpful. Good, affordable option for business/leisure visits to Munich.

They couldn't keep up with all the guests for the breakfast buffet, but on the other hand the business center (computer access) was good. Parking is on the street, and the location seemed far from tourist attractions in the old city. But there were lots of tourists so check the map, I think they are fairly close to the train line.

Waren sehr zufrieden! Wahnsinns Früstückbuffet!!! Echt super! Nette Zimmer genügen Platz zu viert. Sehr freundliches Personal! Würde jederzeit wieder buchen!!

Super fint hotel. Kort vej fra motorvejen til hotellet. Der kan køres helt til døren for aflæsning og der, mod betaling, forfindes en stor p kælder under hotellet. Dejlig lille restaurant, med Spitze betjening. Dog vil jeg sige dette er i den dyre ende som overnatningshotel. Vi bruger ofte denne hotelkæde som overnatnings sted mod en sydligere destination.

vooral de bedden en de service waren goed. Vriendelijk personeel. Jammer dat het ontbijt niet bij de prijs inbegrepen was, dat maakt een overnachting dan toch wel prijzig.

Molto bello e curato. Servito da metropolitana a 5 minuti. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Consigliatissimo.

Wir haben ein Vier-Bett-Zimmer für unsere Familie gebucht. Konnten direkt vor dem Hotel unsere Sachen ausladen und haben gleich in der Nähe einen Parkplatz für unser Auto gefunden. Was für München wahrscheinlich nicht sehr einfach ist. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, mit Flachbildschirm. Die Betten waren dann etwas schmal, aber wir konnten trotzdem gut schlafen.Gut abdichtende Vorhänge. Genügend Hand- und Badetücher, die allerdings keinen angenehmen Geruch hatten, vielleicht ein anderes Waschmittel benutzen. Das Frühstücksbuffett war überwältigend, meine Söhne haben geschlemmt. Die Pancakes waren ein Gedicht, es gab Würstchen, Speck, verschiedene Eiervariationen, Wurst, Käse, Obst, Müslis, Säfte, Kaffee und verschiedene Teesorten. Die Bedienungen waren auch immer höflich und zuvorkommend. Wir können das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Die Betten sind zu klein und das Familienzimmer lag an einer dicht befahreren Straße. Der Preis war zu hoch

Из достоинств: В отеле очень хороший континентальный завтрак с большим выбором блюд В отеле очень удобный график работы всех spa (бассейн, тренажерный зал, сауна - до 22 часов) Из недостатков: Отель расположен 20 минут езды на метро от центральной площади, но без пересадок Отель не новый и требует косметического ремнта, но все чисто и аккуратно.

Super Hotel erwas aussehalb der Stadt. Trotzdem gute Anbindung an die Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel.

Wir (2 Erw.+ 14jähriger) waren nur eine Nacht i.Hotel.U-Bahn ist in unmittelbarer Nähe.Ruhige Lage (hatten Fenster "hinten" raus), Frühstücksbuffet bietet ein grosse Auswahl, Gebäck wird laufend nachgebracht, Servicepersonal sehr freundlich u.zuvorkommend. wir können dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen und würden es auch wieder buchen.

Sono stato in occasione della festa della birra,prezzo alto giustificato dall'evento ma comunque più basso degli altri consultati.Camera e bagno ok,pulizia ok.Personale gentile e disponibile.Interessante la posizione in quanto si trova a cinque min dalla fermata della metro linea u e a Monaco la metro e comoda,facile e ottimamente collegata.Consigliato.

Der var god og imødekommende service, hotellet er nær metroen og der er relaxation pool i kælderen. Godt hotel.

Hotel as such is good and clean and reasonably priced, however the quality of service differs from day to day. There were few people who did really nice job but they were in minority. The rest didn't want to try or in case of any problems they were angry. I don't want the toilet to be cleaned when I am sitting on the seat. If I want to put my breakfast on room I want do it everytime without further arguments. If I am served first morning at the breakfast with coffee and tea I expect similar service instead of inpolite suggestion to go and get myself. The wireless internet does not work with Mac because the proxy-server is incompatible with Mac. So if you need internet during your stay and do not have windows pc with you go somewhere else.

Wir waren mit 2 Erw. und 2 Kindern für 2 Nächte in dem Hotel und hatten ein Zimmer mit zwei Doppelbetten gebucht. Die Betten waren leider etwas zu klein für zwei Personen. Außerdem gab es in jedem Bett nur eine große Bettdecke. Die ebenfalls in dem Zimmer vorhandene Ausziehcoach war nicht mit Bettzeug bezogen. Im Zimmer befand sich noch Müll von den Vormietern. Der Balkon war dreckig. Ansonsten war das Hotel und das Frühstück OK. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in München kann man das Hotel nehmen, wenn es einem nichts ausmacht, wenn der Weg in die City etwas weiter ist.

Hôtel fidèle sans doute à sa réputation. Cependant, notre prestation chambre triple n'était pas comme nous l'attendions, à savoir un canapé pour la troisième personne. Nous constatons que les chambres triples varient d'un holiday Inn à un autre. Sinon, ensemble positif, l'hôtel est situé dans un quartier relativement calme à quelques centaines de mètres d'une bouche de métro, très pratique pour rejoindre le centre de Munich. Personnel agréable, le français n'est par parlé du tout. Petit déjeuner pantagruélique pour tout de même la somme de 17€. En conclusion, je trouve cet hôtel **** d'un très bon rapport qualité prix.

Hotellet hade det som förväntas av ett trestjärnigt hotell men inte mer. Klöddigt att hitta parkering. Förvirrande med 2 våningar med samma nummer. (Hotellet 2st våning 1, 2st våning 2, osv.) Man fick köa till frukosten då denna valts att serveras i en cigarett-inpyrd Bierstube i källaren istället för resturangen. Gäster med hundar tilläts ha dessa med sig där det serverades mat. Inga resturanger i närheten annat än hotellet och en hämt-pizzeria. Ligger dock nära tunnelbanestation längs U3 linjen. Det finns bättre trestjärninga hotell...

En général c'était correct. Mais le petit déjeuner à 19€ c'est tout simplement hallucinant. En plus il fallait faire la queue et attendre 10 à 15 min avant de prendre une table. L'eau chaude au robinet prenait son temps avant de couler. L'emplacement n'a rien à envier, rien aux alentours à voir, en plus c'est sur une route super dangereuse à traverser au vu de la violence de conduite des locaux. Heureusement c'est à 10 min du métro. Bref pour moi pas recommandable
