We've stayed here before and it's a great location for us, easy access to tube like and great link from heathrow into centre of london

Very central location. Green Park station is just a few minutes walk away. We had an easy walk to Green Park, Buckingham Palace and the Big Bus Tour stop. Our room was clean and comfortable, service was prompt and we found it a very convenient place to stay with young children.

Great location, clean, reasonable sized rooms. Have stayed here on several occasions and will continue to do so.

My room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location is excellent! I booked my stay through Hotels.com but was still billed $72 by the hotel for something I am still looking into.

We had a wonderful short break in London. The hotel was excellent! We did lots of sightseeing, went to see The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium, and also went on the London Eye. The hotel was so central as Green Park underground tube station was just across the road! We plan to return to the same hotel on our next visit to London.

This Holiday Inn is one of the better ones. Whilst the reception is small, its nicely decorated and the staff are quick and helpful. The rooms are good, and service is generally of a high standard. I didn't personally have any problems, but i did note that one elderly guest queried a room service charge on his bill, and the staff immediately looked into it by asking the accounts dept to check the service slips for who ordered it and to ensure it was correct. As it turns out his wife ordered it while he was strolling round london, but the fact that they looked into it was well received.

Very nice hotel, perfect location, very friendly staff. I was with my family, and everybody love it.

We had a lovely time at the hotel. The service was great, room was clean & homely it had everything we needed & if there was anything else we needed all we had to do was ask at reception. It was nice & quiet with no ditruptions. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in london close to alot of attractions, trendy bars/clubs & i will definately be checking in again in the future!

stayed here for 3 nights with my motehr81, right down to my great niece aged 6. The lift was not wroking for the whole time that we were there. Only one lift was working which was a real pain as my mother was in a wheelchair and once we got into the lift it left little room for anyone else we also waited 9 mins at one point to access the lift from the 5th flor. The food in the restaurant was superb when we eventually got it. Very long waiting time in between courses. Location was great.

Friendly helpful staff, very clean rooms and great power shower. Would definitely recommend.

A perfectly located hotel being a stones throw from Piccadilly and a short walk to Regents Street, Oxford Street etc. We where on the fifth floor at the font of the hotel and it was exceptionally quiet. The English breakfast was superb and the staff very helpful and friendly. As written in other reviews, the rooms are a bit tired but this is the only negative that we found. I would definitely recommend this hotel if your in the market for a hotel in central London.

Rooms are very clean but the decor is obviously dated although in relatively good condition. Location is excellent and value for the rate we paid was well worth it.

Great Location. Starbucks out the front door. Restaurants close by. Everyone was very friendly and cooperative.

This hotel has a great location less than one block from Green Park tube station and within a short walk to Piccadilly and Leicester Square. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, particularly for England. Hotel had a water outage while I was there, but they did everything they could to help including using the water in the minibar for free.

Fourth or fifth visit to this Hotel - great location, ideal for an overnight stop, close to Green Park tube so not inconvenient if you are carrying luggage, short walk to Oxford Street/Regent Street/Leicester Square etc

We choose the Holiday Inn Mayfair because it is directly situated at Piccadilly line which serves London Heathrow. So it is the perfect hotel for everyone, who wants to spend some time in the heart of London - good for children as well.

This hotel is in the heart of everything. An easy walk to Picadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, the Tube stations, plenty of places to et and shop etc. We couldn't have asked for a better spot. The hotel itself is a little older so it has a bit of a worn feeling. But we didn't care about that. The room was large by European standards and there were two double beds so no one had to sleep on a hideaway. The bathroom was good sized and well stocked. The hotel itself was pretty quiet and very secure (you need your room key to get on the guest room floors). There was free wifi, room service and very friendly and helpful staff. We travel extensively for work and pleasure and this hotel was one of the better we've enjoyed in the UK and other spots in Europe. We'd happily stay at this hotel next time we're in London. It was really the best of all worlds, unless you're looking for real high end luxury. (The Ritz is right down the street!)

This hotel was a wonderful find, perfectly located for walking to restaurants and the theatre as well as for a visit to Buckingham Palace the next day. The room was smart and completely quiet, the staff friendly and helpful, and, in short, the hotel was everything we needed it to be for our short visit to London for a holiday treat!

This hotel is too expensive for the room provided. I stayed in much nicer Hotels in London at the fraction of the price. Its old, run down. I had 2 rooms, one for my kids which was worse. By the way double bed means one small bed not two here.

The underground station was conveniently located a block away, shops are close by as well. Our room was clean, the staff was very helpful in everything, had several movies on demand, and very good wifi signal. Linens could have been softer/ more fluffy. Air Conditioning was not very cold and I wish breakfast was included. But overall we were satisfied with our time there.

The best thing about the Holiday Inn London Mayfair is the location. It's across the street from the Ritz Hotel and Green Park, 2 blocks from Buckingham Palace, and walking distance to most sights. However the staff and concierge's were worthless.

Excellent location, BUT it's a tired hotel property much in need of improvement. Bathroom in our room needed complete renovation. Very poor value for money. I'm surprised that Holiday Inn allows its name to be placed on this hotel. Rated "4 star"? Is that a joke?

The service was great, the room was comfortable, clean, the staff alert and responded to all of our needs promptly. My husband, 2 teenage daughters and I enjoyed London, and we are very grateful to the staff and their diligence at the Mayfair Holiday Inn. The Location is PERFECT!

This hotel is all about the location. The hotel is clean and perfectly adequate. The service was intermediate. The water pressure was comically high power. What makes this hotel perfect, especially for family travelers is the location. This is right on Picadilly walking distance from many major destinations. Walking distance to Picadilly Circus/Leichester Square. Walking distance to Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, etc. Kitty corner a across the street on Berkely St is a small market with fruit and freshly baked bread, muffins, etc. Easy to buy breakfast and snacks for a family of 5 before the kids are awake. The cab stand at the hotel always had taxis and the Tube and buses are right there. For convenience, this location and middle of the road hotel fit the bill.

Although the hotel offers no more than what is expected from a four star hotel, the location is arguably one of the very best in London. Good service and courteous staff that are sure to help if you need anything. If you fancy shopping, New Bond Street is just a block away and Oxford Street with Selfridges and all that it has to offer is a quick 10 minute walk. With restaurants like Nobu, Scotts, Maze and Hakkasan just around the corner this hotel is sure to please even the most demanding London visitor who seeks to get the most out of the London experience, all within walking distance. Also, perfectly situated 100m from the Green Park tube, just take the tube to any place in London you fancy and it makes the transit from and to Heathrow fast and convenient, no extra stops at the cost of a zone 1-6 single ticket...

Nice hotel, not cheap, but close to everything you ever wanted to see in London and close to the subway as well. Nothing more to ask for. Rooms fairly small and bathrooms extremely basic, but location and the staff compensate for all....

An excellent hotel in a great location for all the sights in London. The location of the hotel is made even more appealing by the helpfull and friendly staff, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Will definitely stay here again.

This is great location within a areas that is very desirable to visit. the hotel was very affordable. thats the good ...... the not so god is its not a real fancy hotel and could use some fixing up. my guess is because its not fancy .... its affordable. having said that i will stay there again as its at least clean, nice, great staff in a great location

Ideally located, friendly staff but rooms, certainly on1st floor, are tired and looking dated. Bathrooms in particular need replacing. However ideally placed for trips to theare or Xmas shopping so limited time spent in room makes an acceptable option when choosing a hotel in the area

Perfect location - walking distance to Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Parliament, London Eye, Theatre district. Very clean. Just need to update the bathrooms (regrouting). I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

Awesome location. Couldn't have asked for more. Close to everything! Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. Rates were ok. There is a huge premium attached for quad rooms (two double beds and four people).

Water leaking from bathroom into room.We could not use bathtub. The reservation of outside restaurant was not made as requested. Also, the newly reserved restaurant was not informed to us. ---ridiculous

It has a strategic location that allows you to walk to most of the attractions and enjoy the nice places

This was my third stay in this hotel over a ten year period and the only thing that brings us back is the location. Rooms are nice and clean but nothing special, bathrooms quite small, but the area is perfect for a short visit to london. Very safe neighbourhood and you can pretty much walk everywhere you need to go, picadilly circus 5 mins, lesiter square 10 mins and covant garden 15 mins. However the service was possibly the worst I've had in any hotel, the staff on the front desk simply did not have any manners. They were simply rude and uninterested when we were checking in. It wasnt even busy when we arrived, they just didnt want to deal with us. During our stay they were extremely unhelpful when we asked any questions. One on of the days one of our party remained in the hotel while we shopped, as they're mobile phone was not working we rang the hotel and asked to be put through to our room, on the first attempt at ringing them the girl on the front desk hung up on me, the second time she claimed the phone was busy straight away, she didnt even have time to check in my opinion, and the thrid time I rang she simply said " its busy, ring later" and hung up. We spent an hour trying to get back to our hotel and when we did the phone in the room had never been used and our fellow guest had no contact with front desk. The girl on the front desk had forced us to return to our hotel and cancel our plans for no reason what so ever. Would I stay there again? No. The location is perfect, but as the hotel is rather expensive I would at the very least expect common courtesy from the staff on front desk.

great location , but a bit expensive. not incliding breakfast is a bad thing. the bathromm is old fashion. in the oerall i am recommending because of the location.

great locaion but the hotel needs a refurbishment. bathroom has some mold spot. television is small old tube TV with 12 chanels only
