IT was ridiculous having to pay for parking on top of the hotel cost. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN avoided. WE WILL NOT STAY ST YOUR HOTEL AGAIN.

Hotel was in a good location but not great. Easy to walk to Canal street. You can tell it was an old renovation b/c the bathrooms are very small. However the renovation was done very nicely. Rooms extremely comfortable with refrigerators, microwaves, coffee. All rooms have balconys which were a nice feature. Is a little noisy since you are in the medical district so expect to hear a few ambulances, but probably not nearly as noisy as if you were in the French Quarter. Would stay again. Room service was quick but food was only OK (i ordered a dinner).

We enjoyed the hotel. It was close enough to everything we wanted to go to and we loved that the pool was heated.

I booked it because the price was not exorbitant for Jazzfest. I was incredibly surprised that the rooms and the hotel lobby were nicer than some Marriott's that I have to stay at for work! The location is very walkable to downtown. The only downside is that it can be hard to catch a cab, but that might have been more of a reflection of the weekend I came down vs. the hotel's location. Hotel breakfast was really great. If Holiday Inn is going to have hotels like this, then they need to re-brand their image.

A bit away from restaurants and clubs, though a street car is about 2 blocks away. Broken ice and soda machine on the floor we were on. Bartender is great! Staff friendly and clean rooms.

Enjoyed a short stay. Staff was very helpful with our questions and giving assistance.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and the newly renovated hotel had very clean carpets, furnishings and pool was great. Highly recommend. Only thing is it is a little far from the french quaters but for a downtown location, its perfect.

Everything about my stay was wonderful. Great location, staff, and service make this hotel a must if you want a wonderful New Orleans vacation without a huge price tag.

My spouse and I didn't have any problems we loves everything about the room plus it have very good customer service. I will stay there again!!!

The stay here was very nice. It was a good location from the French Quarters and all the sites. We walked everywhere we went. The staff was very nice. There was some construction going on in the driveway of the hotel, but besides that it was a very good stay. I would definitely go back.

I guess you could blame it being New Orleans, but it took forever to get checked in. The area for check in parking was closed off for maintenance, but I was able to find a parking meter on the back side of the hotel. I thought 10 minutes would be enough, thank goodness I was watching my watch. Even though there was only a couple of people in front of me, I had to go feed the meter because the desk was taking so long. I raised my time to 18 minutes and it still took 10 to get back to the car. I will say you were within about 7 or 8 blocks of the French Quarter with a streetcar stop across the street. The neighborhood itself didn't look inviting. The hotel itself was fine, but please speed up that service.

Brought a High School rugby team to NOLA. Hotel was walking distance from Amtrak (8 blocks) and also from Bourbon Street. Very convenient location.

I was very impressed with my stay at this hotel. It was very clean, and beautifully decorated, loved the pop art theme! The staff was very helpful, and very friendly. They even let me use the restaurant refridegerator for our cake while we waited for our room to become available. Parking is cheap and convenient because you can come and go as you please. The only cons to this hotel was the elevator wait at times, lack of drink vending machines on our floor, and the walls were kind of thin. You could hear noises in the hall and from neighbor rooms. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

hotel was good location to Superdome/NO Arena. we arrived on Thursday parked in the Hotel garage and our automobile didn't move until we checked out on Saturday. We also walked to Bourbon Street and even down to the Riverwalk. Would definitely consider staying here again.

the bath room tub had hair and dirt around it and the baseboards around toilet

The 2 phones in the room didnt work and the guy at the desk was unable to print me out a zero balance reciept.

We only spent one night there but everything was fine. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Our event was at the New Orleans Arena so this hotel was almost right around the corner. We were able to leave our venue and in minutes be back in our room that night. The parking was great. We could go from the parking garage to our floor without having to go into the lobby. We had to pay $28 for parking but being downtown, that was understandable. We plan on using this hotel next year for another event looking forward to our visit.

Hotel staff was excellent, everyone was nice and very willing to help us with anything we needed. Rooms were clean and they even have a manager personally check cleanliness behind the cleaning staff. Would definitely stay again.

There was no hot water

New Orleans has entire streets closed down in and around the hotel, so be sure to have GPS because we had to take several detours just to make it to the hotel. The hotel itself was nice. The only thing I didn't like was the 6 little pillows they have on the bed! I'd rather have 2 full-size pillows than those little things the size of throw pillows.

Hotel was nice. It was not very close to bourbon, yet still walking distance! Streetcar breakfast was very filling. Beware this hotel, like some others, charges around $26 a night to park there.

Even though this is a nice hotel and in a convenient location. This hotel is way over priced. The color scheme is tacky. The AC in the room sounded like a tractor. Room was stuffy. I've stayed at this hotel before and they never charged for parking since they have their own garage. This time they charged to park. I notice when leaving the hotel their was pay parking lots within walking distant that were way cheaper....less then half of what the hotel charged to park.

Was a very nice hotel, was in walking distance to Bourbon. Had a great time there.

Looks like this hotel had a renovation. Which is nice. Everything was fine. No problems except the remote didn't work but maintanence fixed it with in a half hour. Hotel was clean. Room was cool and had a balcony. The front desk staff could use some friendly lessons. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Great location but this hotel is surrounded by city construction getting ready for the Superbowl. We had to endure Power outages on our last day. Mattress was a bit dated. The staff was very helpful at check-in and throughout our stay. No Valet-just self park for $28/day w in/out access. Overall- quiet, nice and clean.

I love this hotel, this was my 1st trip 2 NOLA for NYE & the Sugarbowl/Hornets/Saints game what a trip...the pictures are exactly what u get, service was excellent, the free breakfast buffet we got with our deal through hotels.com was a plus and it was real food and delicious. The hotel was right around the corner from the Superdome & The New Orleans arena but still in reasonable walking distance to Bourbon st, so u r away from the madness but yet so close & 4 half the cost. I would DEFINETLY stay again

Two of the four elevators were out of service for the entire stay-4 days. Lines would form and there was a long wait. Very frustrating. On the other hand, ALL of the employees that we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Overall, we were very satisfied with our hotel. It is located within walking distance of the Super Dome, shopping, and great restaurants. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our biggest complaints are sliding glass doors and the elevators. Even though they are updating the elevators, they are SO slow. It took quite a while to get an elevator. Worse than the elevators were the door to the balcony. They do not block any noise from the outside. In downtown New Orleans, this is a problem. People talking, music, car horns, car noise and every other noise can be heard. This kept us up most of the night. We will not return unless the doors are replaced.

The hotel was recently remodeled however they overlooked some items in the overhaul. First we parked out front and were no greeted by a parking attendant. This is both good and bad. Good because we can handle our on parking and luggage. Bad because there were a line of parked cars without any direction of where to go or what to do. Seemed like they were inappropriately staffed for a New Years and sugar bowl weekend. Then we get to a line of people waiting on the elevators. There are four however only one was working. Odd for recently renovated hotel. The lobby and dining area seemed nice and our room was as well. It had a contemporary look. The bad was that we ran out of hot water, note that it was only two of us. And that the bath seemed to have been covered with new overlay right over the existing tub. You could really tell when you sat or stood as the bottom of the tub was seemed to move and ripple. Overall, I think they still need more renovating.

Very convenient for our event. Pleasant staff. Clean rooms.

walking distance to bourbon st and the superdome. this was a real plus. i parked my car for the weakend and walked everywhere. the only problem i had was 2 of the 4 elovators where not working making for long waits.

the hotel has been tthrough a total remodel.very nice .very modern decor.super clean.super close for shows at the N.O. ARENA

overall enjoy it very much

The only problem was two of us could not take a shower back to back. Ran out of hot water. Everything else was perfect.

Enjoyed the balconies which every room has. It's hard now days to find a hotel in which the windows open. I like a hotel in which the windows open and in this hotel, all rooms have a large outdoor balcony, even the ones higher up on the higher floors.
