DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Denver - Stapleton North - دينفر

Surprised at the condition of various items and upkeep. Probably was a great hotel in the 80's/90's - but not when it seems to be less than updated and is the 2010's. Double Tree 2-3 blocks away is my choice to try next time.

Call it the railroad yard DoubleTree! The brand is tarnished as you awaken to the sounds of a train yard, Look out the window to an industrial area, with a power station and high voltage wires about . Much confusion by me and others in the group and a differnce in the service and accomomdations and restaurants in the two hotels !!! Rooms were nice and clean but "miles" from elevators at time. All locals knew it as a Red LIon, takes more than a name change and cookies to change the DNA of a building. Lots of confusion when booking on line and not easily corrected

We booked our stay via a travel site and requested the location at 3023 Quebec, in Denver. We were instead booked at a location a mile away, 4040 Quebec. After 30-minutes at the front desk they were able to find the error. Once we checked into the new hotel we were greeted with constuction, and the hotel was hosting several youth baseball teams. We spent the rest of the night listening to kids running up and down the halls, banging doors, pillow fights.....we will not be staying at this location again!

Hotel is conveniently located for the business needs. Needs some improvements but still a nice place to stay. My room was not as clean on this stay as before

Acceptable

Very clean room. Hotel quiet but the two trains passing by at late evening and early morning woke us from our sleep. Difficult to find parking after 7:00P.M. They offered 5 free nights of parking while we traveled to another state. We were gone 7 nights and they did not bill us with any additional charge. Free shuttle to and from DIA was much appreciated.

In my 2 nights reservation I stayed at 3 hotels. The Double Tree's fire alarm went off around midnight, my daughter and I sat in the car for an hour and a half before deciding to go up the street, with the clothes on our back to see if we can stay at a different double tree. They allow us to stay considerig they were aware of the situation. The following morning I went to get our suitcases so we could shower. We packed from the 2nd dbl tree assuming our original reservacation at the 1st dbl tree would be OK for our 2nd night. After touring Colorado for the day and coming back at 7PM we found the hotel did not have heat or hot water. They then directed us to a Best Western for the night.

enjoyed it, we have stayed there before and would stay there again

Impossible to sleep when your adjacent to a major freight rail line whose trains sound of a crescendo of horns every hour on the hour. Room had no dark curtains to shut out the light of the rail yards, and heating system is either full-blast air or nothing at all. Would definitely not recommend this hotel for a good night sleep.

Pleace was nice. Had maintenance issues. Restaurant food was terrible.

Great Beds

The parking was a challenge...not enough spaces for the guests. I could hear the train. The hotel was very nice. and the staff was very nice.

Enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was very friendly. Especially since I was there on Easter and they were working instead of spending time with their families. The room was always clean and tiddy.. Very happy

Staff was very helpful. Shuttle drivers were knowledgeable and a great help as well.

WiFi signal wasn't reaching the room I was in. I had to go to the lobby to connect.

Ambiance was lovely; staff was helpful and gracious. Room was well-appointed -- not super spacious but had all the amenities needed and more.

Did not feel very comfortable in the room. The room smelt moldy and needed an update. In future I am going to spend the $10 or $20 per night and stay somewhere I feel relaxed in and that I do not need to tell my kids not to touch anything.

Good accomodations and excellent food.

I had a DIA layover and was stuck due to weather took shuttle to hotel they had a convention there and so the place as packed and parking would have been a problem but it was clean and the staff was helpful

The Red Lion Hotel is close to the mall and highways. Very easy access to and from places.

The rooms at this hotel are fine. One exception is the heat. Even though it seemed to have a thermostat to set the temperature it was either on or off, so too hot or too cold. That is typical in hotels though. Also it is near the train tracks, and the trains go buy at all hours and blow their horns, even in the middle fo the night. You do not want a room that faces south. Also, room service did not understand the idea of eggs, over easy.

Was in Denver for the stock show and have stayed at hotel before. Like its location being close to stock show and airport at a resonable rate

A n active railroad track is behind the hotel. Friday night 4 trains went by blowing horns at the road crossings....long and loud! Beds and pillows were very comfortable.

I would not stay in this hotel again.

When arrived at the motel, was told the room wasnt ready, so I told them I needed to leave and would be a late arrival. I was then told that they couldnt guarantee my room. When I got mad, They said my room was ready, and put me next to the exit door and the elevator. Miserable.

The room was too small...the tv was not up to date....I didn't like the fact of when I check in with my guest there were like (u know it's just one king size bed). Will not be booking again!

The hotel was nice except it was hard, very hard to locate and to drive to it. The streets were very poorly marked, the streets themselves were in terrible condition. When I was abot find the place it was after hours and no place to have dinner.

The looks from the outside are the greatest, but the rooms were quite comfortable and clean. Hotel staff was very helpful and nice. Overall experience was great!

The wifi connection are bad in my initial room, the staff quickly moved me to another room after I brought it up. Staff are very friendly & helpfull. The rooms are clean and well maintained, although the overall outside corridoor could use a new carpet & paint. Other than that I had a very well rested and comfortable 7 day stay there.

Great location, Great service, the room was a little worn...but overall being on a budget, I was very pleased with the bang for my buck!

GREAT HOTEL, HAS NICE BAR AND RESTAURANT. ONLY COMPLAINT IS ROOM WAS IN BACK NEAR ELEVATOR AND WAS NOISY. OTHERWISE RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM QUEBEC SQUARE. LOTS OF FOOD AND SHOPPING.

The remote didn't work and I called the front desk and they said I could have someone there to fix it within 5 minutes. I told them that was alright that I was going to sleep but asked them to take care of for the next person. Staff very friendly!! Thanks!

I Had a great experience

Stayed here for 2 nights. It is very convenient to the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. They ran out of rooms with King beds, so I got 2 Double beds, but they gave me free breakfast for both days to make up for it. Staff was very friendly.

I really like this hotel. The main reason I got it was because it had free parking and a shuttle to the airport. It was a very clean and nice hotel for a very decent price. I will definitely be staying there again.

This hotel was dirty, run down and needs lots of maintance. Trash left in our room, curtains without hooks wouldn't stay closed. Rooms are very soundproof, they put us right next to the trains tracks. Not much sleep as the trains run all night.

Good freeway access. Hotel extremely busy. It is nicely finished, remodeled, and comfortable. They have everything for the business traveler. Business guys will love this hotel.

The hotel itself was fine but it wasn't by the new airport, it was next to the old airport. Not a huge deal except we picked the hotel based on it's location which wasn't where we were led to believe it was.

good free shuttle service from airport that runs every half an hour- there are 2 red lions in denver so make sure you get on the right bus. taxi from hotel into town next day cost less than half what it would have all the way from airport pity no free breeakfast beds were unpleasantly bouncy and soft so one rolled into one another. if you had the bed to yourself it would have been ok
