Holiday Inn Gaithersburg - جيذرزبورغ

Was disappointed to arrive and find that the pool was closed until 7:00 pm for a "special event." So headed to the restaurant to find that it too was closed because the hotel was hosting two wedding receptions. Was told that we could get something to eat at the pub and wait until the pool opened. After 1 hour of placing our order, we still didn't have our sandwiches! Clearly the hotel caters to large events which draw in large $$ and they didn't have enough staff on hand. If you are simply in need of the room and none of the "extras", then it is a nice place to stay. This was not our first stay there, but will look around the next time we need something in the area.

my wife and i really enjoyed ur stay. from the staff, service and room were very nice. we will stay there again. i would recommend it to others

My timing may have been off with my stay at this hotel but they were a mess. I can understand a lobby being busy because that simply means they are doing business but the staff appeared to have lost all control of what was going on. They sent me to a room that had guests in it already and neither of us was too happy when I walked through door. Once I went back to reception it seemed I was not the only one that had this particular issue. The guests were handing lists to the staff like they were telling them where people should be. My room smelled like urine but it may have been the cleaning products that they used because the elevator smelled the same way in the morning. The last item I would like to relay is the room service. I ordered chicken fingers/strips which arrived way under cooked. Luckily I had a microwave in the room and I was able to finish them off. I for one will not be staying here again.

AC unit in room and the 40 on the rooftop outside of my room were soo loud I did not sleep.

Didn't get a chance to use any of the amenities, so I can't speak to the pool or gym. Room was nice enough. Bed, pillows comfy and clean. Lots of events, and a hurricane threat, were going on the same day I stayed, so the front desk staff was a bit overwhelmed, but they maintained their composure and got it all done.

Arrived much earlier than we anticipated but hotel staff did not blink. Quickly had us in our room and were extremely courteous. When we returned to our room in the evening, we encountered the traveler's nightmare of a rowdy youth group on our floor and in the rooms on either side of ours. One call to the front desk dealt with the problem, which we appreciated since it was 11 pm and we were bone tired. They responded quickly and must have stayed on the floor or returned to double check because is remained quiet for the rest of the evening. Ate in the hotel cafe and enjoyed the burgers. Wireless internet access was one of the smoothest I have encountered. Quick sign-on and stable.

Hotel location is great but service was neither prompt nor accurate. Had to wait in line for 15 minutes to get checked in while 2 front desk employees looked at us, and went on their way. After we finally got checked in, neither of the keys worked, went back to the front desk, they fixed it. The room was clean, the bathroom could use a make-over. Hard to get hot water out of the faucet. Internet connection did not work for my IPhone, no matter what I did. It worked elswhere Will I stay here again? No!

We have stayed in this Hotel a couple of times already since we have family that lives nearby and, we are pretty happy with it. It's clean, comfortable and accesible to the highway. Good stop for roadtrips as well...

very unefficient,would not help with the problem and never came back to me to see if problem was resolved.I ordered a king size bed and when I got to the hotel they gave me a room with two beds.try to have them change it and manager just replied or we don't have any more rooms,you know that 's not true.I said i would let hotels .com know and he just said ,you do what you have to do sir.

The Hotel was excellent - traffic around the hotel was horriblr!!

* The management and clerks were friendly and hospitable * There was little to NO hot water in the shower * Housekeeping never came to the room in a two day stay * Bed pillows are foam - not feather or feather bound - and not comfortable

I have stayed at this hotel 2 or 3 times before. Hotel has been renovated since last stay in 2005 making a more attractive appearance, Very clean and well managed. Location was convienent for visiting family.

I hotel was very pleasant. The room was very comfortable except the only chairs available to sit at only table in the room was not made for sitting at a table. Otherwise it was a good hotel with free wifi and ethernet. The food was ok to good. The hotel is trying to be green and did a pretty good job of it.

Only used the hotel to sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. Would recomend to anyone visiting the DC area, as it is not too far from the Metro to downtown DC.

The hotel is in the heart of Gaithersburg, MD and provides a clean, new, leasure,and comfortable room. The hotel is one of the best that I have stayed. Love the new remodeling and extra comfortable beds, super clean bathrooms,and sanitized rooms. I did not feel discusted in the hotel at all. My new neighborhood hotel!!!

The beds weren't too comfortable. And I saw some small bugs on the air conditioner, which is LOUD and situated on the floor. The air blows in your face. Otherwise, it is easy to get to off the 270. Wonderful jacuzzi and pool.
