It was fine, as we were visiting friends in the Brookhaven Country Club area. The construction of 635 was a mess, but not a problem that the hotel could remedy. The room was just fine, clean, but extremely old and in need of a remodel. The air conditioner worked, but was extremely loud when it "kicked on or off". Bathroom needed tile work and the water in the vanity sink ran extremely slow.Overall, the room was ok---but not worth the price they charged.

We were there for my daughters pageant and other festivities. Decent hotel, rooms need updating. Was in a nonsmoking room that smelled like old cigarettes. Didn't sleep at all because there was a raging bachelor party right above us. They knew I had a two year old, so why would they put us there??They said they wouldn't shut down the party because they were paying guests also. Should have called the police, they would have shut it down. The party went strong ALL night until 5:15.

Rooms badly need remodeling. Hotel looks old. Bathrooms have rust. Beds are comfy. Room service ok. Staff was average.ots of kids running around.

The service is excellent and very clean room. The location was perfect for our needs.

The lobby and front desk staff was top notch. However, the air conditioning took about an hour per degree to cool. The smoke detector started chirping from a low battery and the wall in the bathroom had been poorly repaired. The t.v. and bed were very nice. A little over priced for the condition of the room.

I got charged for free WiFi 10 DLS a night, the shower doesn't have hot water, the telephone near the bed did not work even after it was reported, the bathroom is in very bad shape

Besides the local road contruction going on nearby the hotel everything was fine. The breakfast offering ws excellent and being right next door to a general store was perfect as we had to make a few runs to get things we forgot to pack!

The manager Gregory was great! The bellman was precious as well! But I complained 3x regarding how hot it was in our room. No one ever called back but said he'd speak a with a manager. The stay during those 3 days was miserable at night. Another bummer about the stay was in room 316 we had a passing door right next to ours dividing the smoking rooms from our nonsmoking room. The thing is when your relaxing at night in room 316 it sounds like a headboard hitting the wall every time someone walked through the passing door.

The gentlemen who assisted us at the front desk was very friendly and very helpful. He went out of his way to help us locate the testing center and printed my daughters ticket when the computer in the lobby was not working. He made our stay very pleasant.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. It was conveniently located just off the freeway. This hotel is a good value.

Rooms could use some updating.

The hotel staff answered phones whille they were checking me in. I asked them to call a manager to pick up the slack so that they could finish checking me in. She did not call.

I've visited Dallas five times in the last year and this iS the first time i've had a great stay at a nice affordable hotel. Will be going back. I found the shuttle to the mall especially helpful and convenient.

This hotel is centrally located, the room is comfortable and clean. Plenty of room for clothes, lots of good-quality hangers (I find that I usually have to ask for more), nice bedding. The lobby is quite beautiful, with waterfall and beautiful plants. There is a nice baby grand there as well, which made me very happy as I play piano and miss it while away from home. The hotel staff is very welcoming, greeting hotel quests with delicious warm cookies - nice touch, that! We ABSOLUTELY recommend this hotel, and will stay there every time we're in Dallas!

Most comfortable bed! Nice people, clean and prompt service.

First, the lobby was beautiful but the room was smelly. The decor was outdated. The carpet looked like it was from the 1930's, the room was small and gloomy. It was so hot as the AC rattled so badly that we choose to stay hot rather than hear the rattle. Then worst of all, I lost my cell phone and thought it may be in the room. We were almost out of Dallas & called the hotel to see if it was turned in. No one would look in the lost and found. I asked to speak to a manage and was told there was not one there. I left my husbands cell number and asked for a call back to discuss my phone and no one ever even called me. In my lifetime, this is the 2nd worse hotel ever,

It was an awesome experience, except my ccard was charger twice by the hotel for 25.00 each-after I had paid in full through Hotels.com. I did not have any extras at the hotel..???

We loved the location. Easy to visit gallaria and Addison. Free parking big feature for us. The hotel is beautiful and room was big and comfortable. We will stay here again.

The hotel experience was wonderful and the highlight was the AWESOME cookies!! Good job and I would definitely stay there again!!

Cleveland checked me in, and has to be the NICEST and most polite staff at any hotel - and It travel every week for my job. Rooms were very clean. My only complaint would be mildew in the grout lines of the tiles in the shower. The restaurant was closed when I checked in at 8pm, and the charges for room service were outrageous (I think it was $3 for delivery to your room plus 19% gratuity added on) so I went down to the hotel bar and ordered the Avocado Club Salad with Grilled chicken. The salad was fantastic. I believe it was around $14. The bartender was a female who was serving me. She was also very attentive, kind, and overall GREAT!

Restaurant service was poor and price expensive. The salads warm & what was supposed to be hot food, was luke warm. Pasta was mushy and corn overcooked. Need to also offer more alternatives on buffet. Not worth the money. Go to Lubys around the corner or Salt Grass across the street.

We were attending a wedding there so it was very covenient. Everything was nice but what stuck out was the bed. It was the most comfortable bed I have slept on at a hotel. I didn't want to get out of bed. Nice!

I had lived in Dallas previously and still have a difficult time find the Hotel the first night. It is just a little tricky getting to, but once you find it then it is so easy. There is also a running/walking track closeby at the community college, so that is a great addition. There are a two eating places close by if you don't want to eat in the hotel. The pool is a little on the dull side, but all in all it is a good deal and a clean, friendly hotel.

Every part of our stay was very good Except The Pillows. The pillows were not, NOT comfortable. Other than the pillows, it was a great stay. We will stay again and bring our own pillows.

We stayed at this hotel to attend a wedding. The group had a large block of rooms and the Presidential Suite. The evening before the wedding, we were at the bar and requested coffee, to which we were told we could go to our room and make. Finally (45 mins later) room service brought the coffee. The day after the wedding, the bride called from the Presidential Suite requesting a sandwich and she was told that they wouldn't make one because they were serving breakfast. She asked if they had anything premade from the night before or just some meat and bread they could slap together. They told her they would try but no promises. Other than that, no problems with the hotel. I just recommend eating/drinking elsewhere.

I loved this hotel. the ONLY problem I enecountered was the A/C. I lowered the temperature from 70 degrees (when I walked in the rooom at 4:00pm ) to 67 degrees because I like my room nice and cool. After ALL NIGHt, at 7:30 am the temperature was 68.9. It went down only 1. 1 degrees over a period of 15 hours! Everything else was just fine. I love DoubleTree!

All for 24 hours perfect, clean, yummy cookie, and quiet. Thank you for a comfy ,safe place to stay. Nancy P.
