DoubleTree by Hilton Tampa Airport - Westshore - تامبا

Had a weekend meeting for CE and stayed a few extra days for vacation. Hotel parking structure is a bit scary at night; so I planned to be back to hotel by dark. Very nice breakfast buffet. Hotel staff gave me a complimentary breakfast for my birthday(that was a nice surprise).

The stay was very good the room was clean but the beds are just to soft for my back. But I would stay again. The cookies are great.

I was nervous because of the negative comments but everything I read was debunked during my stay. The hotel was very busy due to Disney auditions and other events but every night was quiet. The 24 hour care line was making. We used it for something ever night after needed extra towels and shower caps. After calling within minutes thecitemscwere delivered to the room. The players club restaurant was very inexpensive and the food was delicious with every order made fresh. Ever staff person I cme in contact with was nice friendly and helpful from check in to check out. There is a fee for Internet so I didn't use it but there is a business center 24 hour service with free Internet and printing capabilities. There are 5 desktops. I used it to print our boarding passes. The gym was a decent size with plenty of towels. The spa and pool area was under renovation but could still be used. We sat out and the area is really nice and relaxing. The area is close to the highway and near two malls and plenty of restaurants. I would visit this hotel again if in the Tampa area.

We were out all day at an event, and when we returned at 4pm, our room had not been cleaned. We had to call for towels, and waived the late room service visit since we were tired and wanted to rest (they wanted us to go to the lobby and wait while our room was cleaned).

The pool area was good. But that was it.

Staff very pleasant, Room very clean. Over all hotel clean. Enjoyed my stay.

WE had a comfortable stay and good service. Although the restaurant food was delicious when it finally arrived, the service was a bit slow. There really was only one complaint of the hotel, that there were no drinking glasses in the bathroom. We would stay again when we come to Tampa.

Overall the hotel was nice and clean and located in a nice neighborhood. However, there was an event called Kaoticon where there were hundreds of kids running around the hotel dressed as anime characters, screaming in the hallways and harrassing people at the pool. Also, our room was located directly next to the elevator mechanical room, which was very loud and ran all night long. We asked the front desk to move us, but they did not have another room to put us in.

We stayed just one night at the Double Tree before our flight left in the morning. We were so comfortable, had our lunch by the pool area, and shopped at the International Mall that afternoon. The hotel had a shuttle to take us over there and pick us up. They were so accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Based on the bad reviews I considered not staying here, but the things that people complained about seemed pointless and I didn't experience in my stay. I stayed on what seemed to be a busy weekend for the hotel, upon arrival I was told that our room was not clean and it was 8pm, I was slightly perturbed by the delay but it was just a computer error. The staf was very nice and The hotel itself was very nice especially for the price, our pool view room was very quiet. The spa and pool was very relaxing and the hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. The regular rooms don't come with a refrigerator, so I requested one for a one time fee of 10.00 and there is microwave downstairs in the Pan-tree that can be accessed anytime. Parking is free, so that's a major plus. The sports bar downstairs is open until I believe 1am so its convenient when u want a late night meal. The beds are super comfortable, I wanted to stay longer because those were the best 3 nights of sleep I've had in a while. Its within miles of two malls and the aquarium, and not too far from Busch Gardens. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

My Girlfriend and I were in town for the St Petersburg Grand Prix... We planned late and couldn't get anything in St Pete but found this place to be 100 dollars less than everyone else... Being the price was less we weren't expecting anything nice... Turns out it was a very nice place. The beds were comfortable, Very Clean, Bathrooms had granite counter-tops and stone walls! We were very happy and will return next year ! The Lady is very picky and she was very happy ! If you go Check out Hurrican Wings around the corner and down the street ! The service was awesome and the wings were great !

This hotel provided the sorriest excuse for customer service that I have ever experience. I travel with medication that has to stay cold and asked that my ice packs be put in a freezer (simple, right) to keep meds cold on long trip home. I was flatly denied by front desk and told they didn't have a freezer. Also, denied by the on site restaurant. Then a refrigerator arrives at my room with NO freezer in it. After shift change someone managed to find a freezer and the next morning it took my family being sent on a wild goose chase for over 30 minutes to find the ice packs. They were BEHIND THE FRONT DESK IN A FREEZER. There was a heavy piece of plexyglass or something on the AC that fell off and bruised/cut my stepmoms leg. Mainenance came back and propped it up on top of AC unit again and said it was to hold the curtains back. Anyone who went to open the curtains could be seriously hurt by this. The maintenance guy was condescending too. He started explaining to us to leave the AC alone because the controls were on the wall. That's not what we were doing, she was trying to open the blinds. I work in sales/customer service and the complete lack of care/assistance at the front desk was inconceivable to me. The little stuff like the water temp fluxuating wildly while showering, our drink glass in our room being broken and the kids being treated poorly were exaserbated by the main problem. This hotel is not customer focused and made it clear that THEY DON'T CARE. I wouldn't give Doubletree at Hilton my business again...at any price.

a nice clean hotel customer service is excellent a recommendation to any body that I know and I will definitely visit them again oh and 1 more thing hot chocolate chip cookies are the best....

Not a bad place, except for the fact that many of the rooms are right beside the highway and kind of loud.

A really lovely hotel, close to all the amenities and with very friendly staff. My only complaint about the hotel is that they placed us in the far corner of the hotel - it was like walking through a maze. Our room as right by a staff only entrance, so our room was pretty noisy throughout the night ...

Dirty carpts thoughout the hotel. Dirty bed linens thrown haphazrdly thoughout the hallways by hotel staff, the entire place needs repainting. It was so bad I checked the mattress for bed bugs before sitting on it. If It wasn't late in the day when we arrived and we were late for a dinner reservation I would have left imediatley. Needless to say I left the next morning!! Don't waste your money.

The hotel is pretty old ant the room was pretty basic but the bed was very comfortable the staff was very friendly and helpful my only complaint would be for the price the hotel still looks old on the inside but clean and the only kind of breakfast they offered was a buffet which costs $15 and the room is very plain and basic and for the price I paid I could have gotten a room at a newer more modern hotel room closer to or on the beach but overall it is decent and the comfortable bed made for a good nights sleep

Decent hotel for the price. The room was small but comfortable. Neither of the room keys worked initially, but the front desk staff give us new keys immediately and were very accommodating. The location was great even with a high school located across the street. Overall, would recommend staying here.

Starting at the front desk and moving on to the restaurant, saying service was poor is giving them too much credit. So-called upgrade room was adjacent to 8 lane highway with roaring traffic all night. Request for move denied. Waited 20 minutes for service in the restaurant while waiters and other employees wandered by, ignoring my many attempts to get their attention for service. Even if I was paid, I would never stay at this hotel again.

Fine hotel well worth the value. Did not have a fridge in the room. Also paid for extra person then was charged extra for a cot but, would go back. Hot cookies a big plus.

Close to Bucs Stadium, Yankees, shopping etc. Excellent value for your travel dollar. Rts 275 & 60 are close by so you can get to any of the tourist sites quickly and easily. Players Sports Bar is an added bonus.

This was a very comfortable hotel. Staff was very nice. Business center was good, kids enjoyed the pool, & plenty of restaurants on site. Also, close to the airport & express ways.

Good room, close to airport. It was very crowded at time. The surrounding neighborhood was not the greatest but expected near the airport. Rooms were clean and well kept.

Nice Room, Yummy warm cookies. Very nice beds and pillows. Friendly staff Nice bath accessories Very ODD layout! Easy to get lost inside hotel. Italian/Asian fusion restaurant downstairs was just OK. Service was poor, flavor was so-so. Workers were sweeping the carpet right next to our table where we were eating and actually sweeping toward us. YUCK! They should invest in a carpet sweeper to be used for quick pick up when customers are around and use a vacuum at the end of the night after guests have departed.

Chose this restaurant as a location to watch the super bowl and not have to drive home but the restaurant/bar was closed for a private party. No dinner, no drinks and no Super Bowl...very disappointed.

Not what I expected from a doubletree

We stayed at this hotel because we were seeing a concert at a near by location. The hotel was very clean and everyone that worked there were all professional. Would stay there again.
