It was OK, but I think for the price Days Inn should include a continental breakfast and free parking. All they have is coffee.

Suit room really like it and location, but breakfast was only coffee

A block from the Metro so super easy to get around DC. Nice clean remodled rooms with comfortable beds.

This room was decent for a place to crash for the night. It's quite far from the city center but in a decent neighborhood and close to the Metro and National Cathedral if you're driving or biking. The staff was friendly. The room was nothing special but clean and affordable.

The hotel itself is nothing all that special but the location is fine- close to public transportation and not too far of a drive to downtown DC (though beware of traffic!). The value is what got me- it was by far the best deal I found for a hotel anywhere in the DC area during the month of April. The service was great- the people who work there are very friendly. Hallways and elevator a bit dank, but room was nice.

It was a nice hotel. We wanted something next a metro and it was only a few stops from Dupont Circle. It was clean and the wifi was good.

The place is definitely run down and shabby. Front desk staff is nice and about average in terms of service. The rooms are clean, but the building is just old and with that wonderful Day's Inn color scheme and cheap carpet/fixtures it makes you feel like you're staying in a morgue until you get to your room, which is decent. Area is in a nice family neighborhood, but there isn't much else to walk to. Stay if you must, but you can often find better hotels for cheaper -- Normandy, Beacon, Topaz, etc often have deals.

Unfortunatley room was a little on the cramped side for our fmaily of two adults and two little girls and th elack of anywhere else to sit in teh hotel left one feeling very claustrophobic.I did NOT expect to be charged twenty dollars per night for parking my car - I think this is a swiz on hotel rate quoted.

While the hotel was not in the heart of the city, the distance to the metro and all the amenities in walking distance make it a place that I would stay again. I had no problems with my room - it was clean, quiet and fairly updated.

My desire was lodging place that was safe and close to the Metro. I received both here along with friendliness and cleanliness! The bathroom is not large with a long vanity and double sinks. A couple spots in the room could have used touch up paint. I was happy with the room and price. If you want more, there are plenty of hotels where you can pay more to get the immenities you wish to have. I was also pleased with Hotels.com, it was the burst time I used them.

The hotel location and price were great. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and staff was nice and courteous. The hotel was convienent to several means of transportation and not far from main attractions. I would absolutely stay there again.

the hotel is located very near the train station which is very convenient for tourists without transportation.it's minutes away from union station and the top sites which you want to visit. rooms are clean and staff are friendly.

Great room, very comfortable beds, very clean... I can't say enough good things about it! The staff were all extremely helpful and accommodating. The only negative is that it was further out from the center of the city than I thought, but I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone!

This was a good find for what we needed--one night between various other travels. They were very nice and kept our luggage all day while we were running around seeing sights (got in before check in , didn't get back to the hotel til very late at night). The building isn't especially sound proof--we had the pleasure of listening to a jackhammer until about midnight. And housekeeping started knocking about 10:15, which was irritating. We were up but not fully ready to go--the rushing was unappreciated.

They didn't inform me of their deposit upon check in but other than that nice, clean hotel

Reasonable prices compared to otther hotels in the area, and it still provides free internet. Close to a metro stop as well. I did not see a pool or workout room, and the front desk did not mention either.

First, the review inidcated there was a lounge and bar in hotel, but was not. There was nothing inviting about this hotel - have stayed in 2 star hotels in past, but much better than this one. I had to come downstairs for ice - machine broken on 3rd and 4th floors - only the 6th floor ice machine was working. So sorry, but I don't have anything to boost about, espeially for the rate.

Hotel considerably less than others in NW DC. Close to metro. Good value.

Friendly staff, didnt try to nickel and dime you too much. But the restaurant food wasnt the greatest.

This hotel was above average for the price. Right next to the Metro and our youth loved it. perfect for our trip to the White House. Will be staying here whenever we go to DC!

Adequate services and conveniences for the price. Get what you pay for. Probably won't stay there again. No laundry facility, front desk "ho hum" -- tried to overbill for car parking after two contacts to the front desk to tell them I had turned my car in early and hearing back "Don't worry about it." Worked this trip. will not go back.

This quality of this hotel was what I expected for what we paid. The location was good for the purpose of our visit. The staff that I talked to were friendly and helpfull. A older hotel but pretty well kept. I did not like the $20.00 per night parking fee. But being in Washington DC I don't think that you can find free parking.

Right on Connecticut Ave in NW Washington, the location is great. It is a two-minute walk from the Van Ness metro station; the room was clean and tidy; there are plenty of places to eat nearby; the garage is easily accessed via the hotel -- and the rate is not bad for 24 hours. It's not the Four Seasons, of course; but, if you're looking for a super-affordable place to stay in NW D.C. with superb access, this is it!

The reception was cold and almost rude. The room was good. The area has few restaurants or shopping. For me, the location is the best for my work. I need this place and they need me.

The room was very basic. For example, there was no fridge. But it was clean and comfortable. The location is outstanding, only a block and a half from the metro (red line). There are lots of nearby coffee shops, drug stores, liquor store, fast food and restaurants, all within a block or two.
