No problems at this hotel, everything was clean, comfortable and relaxing. Pool is clean and big. Staff was friendly, Would recommend this to a friend/family member.

Very nice clean rooms. Staff very friendly and ready to help.

Nice hotel only a few things I didn't like about it. You have to pay for breakfast and it's not worth what you pay for. Breakfast wasn't bad priced but it just wasn't good. The bed was uncomfortable its a sleep number bed. So it feels like sleeping almost on a air matress. Things I did like about the hotel was the staff was friendly and the pool was open from 6 to 11. One other thing the hotel room could have had better channels. Over all I would stay here again.

The bed needs to be replaced

Sleep number bed was lumpy and failed to inflate and deflate properly. Additionally the proximity of the table/ desk relative to the AC made it uncomfortable to work at with the noise, and rushing air across you.

Everything was fine at this hotel. We liked the fact that it had a great pool and hot tub, and also a scenic bar and restaurant on the riverfront.

I stayed here 1 night for work. I picked this hotel because of location and the indoor pool and hot tub(also a sauna and workout room). Since I was able to check in early, I was able to use the hot tub before dinner, after dinner, and in the morning before checkout. I was the only one in there all 3 times. The pool and hot tub are pretty big. Pool goes from 3' to 10' deep. I also went to the Lounge which seemed to have a big local crowd there, it was kareoke night. There was even a guy dressed like Elvis. They also have live entertainment on other nights. The hotel is an older building but has been updated a bit. Some small imperfections requiring repair could be found throughout the hotel. I would recommend because the pool/hot tub was a bonus for me and I like a hotel with a hoppin' lounge. Rooms had Sleep Number Beds which I think were okay, they were interesting. I had it set for 70. Hope you enjoyed my review!

Excellent value compared to the competition. They delivered a paper every morning but didn't tell me that they would charge me 75 cents/day. I didn't want the paper but had to opt out instead of opting in. I thought this was a little sneaky.

The Radisson Hotel was a nice, clean,quiet hotel with all the necessary amenities except one. The staff was shaky on directions and the hotel did not provide a good map of the city or any literature about the sites in Grand Rapids. We had an excellent, relatively inexpensive, dinner in the restaurant.

This hotel is a bit away from downtown but rates are just as high. Room was old and tired, although clean. Beds were super uncomfortable. In my opinion, not worth the hefty price tag.

They have sleep-number beds and I had a hard time getting comfortable. Also, the toilet would start to make noise randomly. There was no coffee in the room and the WiFi dropped randomly as well. The room was clean, the shower was great. Plenty of hot water and pressure. I stayed for business.

I was impressed at how nice and helpful the staff was here at the Radisson. The location of the hotel was in an ideal location. Not right in the middle of downtown but was close enough to all downtown attractions and restaurants. This hotel has a bar and restaurant on site. The bar was nice and drinks were reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was our second time staying here - both times booked through Hotels.com. I'm not sure what their normal prices are, but both times we were very satisfied with the price we got as well as the value for the price. Notable positives: Sleep number beds. Very nice! Also, big flat screen tv. Negative: Breakfast was a bit disappointing. As I recall, fruit is free but the breakfast bar is a bit pricey. They are a restaurant in business to make money, so I get it. No complaints. Given what I've been accustomed to getting for breakfast at other hotels in this price range, I had hoped for a bit more. Not a big deal though - just worth knowing. We will be staying here again.

Very pleasant and comfortable as well as reasonable cost and close to downtown attractions

Rassion's normally have a fairly good reputation which is why we choose to stay there but this hotel was not up to par. 1. Looks and words are deceiving. picture online shows the "good view" of the building. Also, while it is on the river, it is located near abandoned buildings and in a shady neighborhood. 2. Cleanliness. One of the beds had very dirty sheets and we had to change the entire bed. We requested two blankets and were given a blanket and a comforter because no other blankets available? really? Shower curtain had mold on it. I would pass this "deal" up and stay elsewhere.

Elevators not working, had to climb 6 flights of stairs with luggage. Elevator repairs led to complete loss of electricity until three in the morning. Staff, not much help or support.

the rooms are clean with updated comforters and sleep number beds. Towels needed the same updating some were threadbare and one even had holes in it! they have a convenient restaurant in the hotel and we had breakfast there one morning- there is a waterfront view which is nice but the food on the buffet was not warm enough and the floor in front of the buffet was sticky to walk on. It just had a musty and old look to it.... I guess you get what you pay for. Probably wouldn't stay there again unless my budget demanded it.

Good hotel with a very nice service Having a breakfast in front of the river with the sun rising is a pleasure ! One drawback : rooms off the last floor (7 th) are noisy : it's the ventilation noise. I asked to change my room

Poor excuse for a breakfast buffet.

I chose this hotel b/c it was a Radisson and have stayed at many throughout the US. I am usually quite pleased with this chain so was very surprised at the size and cleanliness of the space. The room was very small. The bed skirt had something on it that clearly someone missed in cleaning and there was coffee colored something spilled on the heating unit. The coffee maker in the room was not stocked. I did think the food in the restauraunt was very good.

IT WAS ONE OF THE WORST HOTEL STAYS I HAVE EVER HAD...A STAFF MEMBER WALKED INTO OUR ROOM...AND WAS THEN SHOCKED TO SEE US THERE, THERE WERE BROWN STREAKS ON A TOWEL, AND OUR SHEETS WERE ALSO DIRTY! NOT WORTH THE PRICE AND THE ROOM WAS REALLY SMALL. ALSO THERE WERE STAINS ON THE CEILING WHERE THERE HAD BEEN WATER DAMAGE AND A BIG CRACK IN THE SHOWER WALL. VERY UNHAPPY...WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!!

The hotel I stayed at the first part of my work trip in Detroit was sub par, so I decided to make sure I stayed in a better hotel for the Grand Rapids portion. This was perfect. It was a little more $$ a night and there isn't free breakfast, but this Radisson is a great place for a business tripper. Comfy sleep number bed, enough space, good restaurant downstairs, fitness center, and a view of the river. Staff was friendly and helpful when I needed to fax things to my LA office each night, and answered any questions I had. The only complaint I can think of is that the equipment in the fitness center is from the mid 80s...but for 1 or 2 quick trips just to get in a quick sweat they'll do. Would definitely stay here again when in GR!

First of all, even though they allow pets, you would never know it by thier housekeeping. Very clean. Loved the sleep number beds! We stayed on the top floor (7 stories) and had a great view of the river. There is an indoor pool (very cold), a hot tub, work out room, and sauna. I liked the convenience of having a restaurant on site so that we did not have to load up all the kids into a cold vehicle to go out to eat, just walk downstairs. This hotel is also in a good location close to downtown, but not not in downtown. It took about five minutes to reach loads of sights to see; museums, the arena, and the zoo. Drawbacks: #1Bathroom was smaller than even I expected (but it was spotless). Only one person at a time could be in there. Difficult when you have small children that need hair combed and teeth brushed. #2 The tile around the pool was extremely slippery. I expect kids to slide, not myself and other adults as we are getting up from the chairs. #3 The pool was cold. (We did visit in winter.)

The room was neat and clean. This is a must for me as a traveler. The bed was very comfortable.

The hotel is close to everything and it's pet friendly for a very low price. It has a very nice restaraunt and great specials, ( happy hour, etc.). We would stay again.

If it hadn't been for the hotel losing power the morning of my departure, the stay would have been great. Not much fun carrying your suitcase down several flights of stairs on a hot August morning. Otherwise, it was a good hotel..

This place doesn't look like much from the outside. Very clean and nice on the inside though. Location is very convenient. We needed a room, but stayed here primarily because we heard that Radisson had sleep number beds, and we wanted to try them out. The beds were great, hotel was clean, rate was ok. One disappointment though. They gave us certificates for the advertised "free breakfast" which in the morning we found out included only the cold things on the bar. So, while the yogurt and juice were good and the fruit was ok, all the hot items laid there and teased us, making us feel like the value we got was not quite as good as we anticipated.

The room was very comfortable, clean and the view from the window in my room was amazing. The, staff was incredible, friendly and informative. Oh, and for those (like me) who travel with a laptop attached to their hip, the wireless is fast and easy to access. I only visited the restaurant one time, and decided to have my once every 6 month indulgence into the hamburger realm, and it was not only very tasty, but also the biggest one I have ever tried to eat. With the road construction that was going on when I got there, it was a tad difficult to get to, but that is the city not the hotel, and again the staff was very helpful in telling me how to navigate, and provided directions to get to all of the places I wanted to visit while I was there. I will be back at the same hotel the next time I am in Grand Rapids MI. Thanks a bunch, H

The 7th floor was previously a smoking floor and now the whole hotel is smoke free. However no renovations have been made so the 7th floor still is basically a smoking floor. Our room smelled horribly of smoke. They have no right renting any rooms on the 7th floor as smoke free

Please be aware that this hotel is under remodel construction. If you want to sleep in try a different hotel as the noise and activity at 8:00 am will make sure you don't sleep. Beware of this before you book. "Sleepless in Grand Rapids"
