Staying at Holiday Inn, Saddle Brook was totally enjoyable and refreshing. Thanks to the wonderful and caring staff who catered to our every need.

I've stayed several times at this hotel and i must say...i am very pleased. The only thing that was missing was a dvd player in the room but other than that, everything was great....thank you.

It was great from the time we checked into the hotel. We were greeted with smiles and a cozy atmosphere.

Tv channels not all sharp, snowy. room lighting using energy saving bulbs. use little larger wattage. all 3 lamps on and still dark in room. older bathroom, small sink.

we traveled with 2 children and were placed on a floor with a group of guest that were college age. The room next to us had loud music and voices screaming till 4 am. we had placed 4 calls to the front desk starting at 1130pm and last one at 315 am. the hotel staff should of moved these set of guest. They were unable to controll these kids. When we went down for breakfast the staff told us they had left when we informed them they checked out but they didnt cuz the were still screaming and jumping around on the 4th floor. Staff didnt offer anything except im sorry but they are gone now. What did that matter we were leaving to.

The first room I was assigned had the door propped open when I arrived. The toilet was clogged, and there was hair and cigarette ashes in the sink. I called the front desk and was told to return to the desk for another room assignment. The second room had a clean bathroom, but overall the room looked dirty and the furniture was askew. I had to straighten the furniture just to feel comfortable in the room.

The room was ok the problem is you can't stay with your kids because they never have room, so the only time I will stay is if i only go with my husband

Nice staff! Very cordial and helpful. The room looked nice at first glance! Bed sheets show definite wear,not the smooth, soft sheets expected. (Popcorn ceiling unsettling as a trap for dust and dirt. Questionable as to how thourough the cleaning staff is.) Musty odor in the common areas. As long as your expectations are not too high, this place is okay.

The staff was friendly but the hallways smelled very muggy, like an old building. In the hotel room, the bathroom was so small that you would have to leave the door opened just to use the sink. That's how close the sink is to the door. There was very little countertop space, so all of my toiletries kept falling off. The popcorn ceiling was the worst. It gave the room an outdated feel. Convenience: 15-20 minutes from Manhattan. I loved that. But convenience was the only reason I stayed. I was there during the labor day weekend and everything else was booked.

I've stayed in different hotels and I can say that I'm not picky as long as it's clean. I'd have to say that considering it's a Holiday Inn, it was kinda disappointing. I don't think it's a well maintained hotel. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, as though done in haste. The room was musty, like it hasn't been occupied in weeks. The overall appearance of the hotel was a let-down. I will try the Marriott next time.

the put us in a room that was suppose to be blocked off because the airconditioner was leaking. and the rug was soaking wet and the room smelled from the room being humid. when we complaint about it they said they know and would send someone to vacuum it up. but they never did. we asked to be changed they said they were booked. the next morning they can change us. they didnt until 2pm. then say they dont have a room for us. Then tell us if we dont leave they would have to call the police. they got us a room after upsetting my husband. He had just had surgery and needed bed rest before we headed back home. then they have the goal to charge us for the two most horrible stay I ever had. I will be taking this further. we are club owners and there are so much more that has happened. that can't be writen but said in person.

I was told by the manager I could use airline frequent flyer miles, but when I called in the next day with my number, they said they don't cooperate with the airlines. The employees are uninformed of hotel policy. the condition of the hotel is very average, and the price was expensive.

This hotel was chosen based on our visit to NYC, and the location was plenty acceptable. The staff that worked the desk and restaurant were very pleasant and helpful. The room condition wasn't quite what we had hoped, and while the breakfast selection was decent - the quality of the food was mediocre. Based on location and room rate, this stay was not a disaster. However, I do look back and think it would have been worth the extra money to stay in a hotel that was a little more current and/or upscale. I travel a handful of times a year, and have come to expect a refrigerator (at least) in each room - this was not present. Again, I want to state how helpful the staff was at this location - but their attitudes couldn't overcome the aging establishment.

We only had to stay one night, so the room was okay, but they are in desperate need of a face lift. The "popcorn" ceiling was dingy and the repairs made in the past easy to spot. The bed pillows were especially small for a king size bed, but they did offer that if you wanted something else you could call down for other options. The bathroom was poorly lit, there was no soap dish in the shower, the shower head looked like there were options for different sprays but I couldn't figure out how to change it, and the door frame had rust spots on it. I guess since the hotel was close to NY, the rates were higher than other Holiday Inns we have stayed in, but it was in poorer condition. Overall, not too bad, but not too great either.

There were only 1 person on duty when we checked in & it was swamp. Delayed on checking in. The water was just slightly warm but was not hot to our standards. The door did not lock properly unless you slam it shut. The house keeping did not know this so our room door was open when we returned. The pool was shut down all day on the day we wanted to use!

Hotel employees are not very friendly. The bath tub was full with RUST SPOTS and the answer we got from the hotel staff was " all the rooms are filled so there's nothing we cant you for you" please do not stay there. it's a nasty place. I would not recommend this hotel for anybody.

false fire alarm went on at 5:30am and i called front desk repeatedly but nobody answered. again fire alarm went on at 7:30am it spoiled my entire new york trip. it is full waste of money to stay in that hotel. this is my first review for a hotel after hundreds of stays in hotels . please i request every one not to stay in this hotel very bad stay..

Met all my expectations. I was not looking for a "room with a view," but was amused to realize my view was the Garden State Parkway toll plaza! I was literally right on top of it! Sadly, I found the view fascinating, and watched out the window for far too long. The room itself was quiet (no traffic sounds, I swear) and clean. Comfortable night.

We had to stay here while going to a funeral in the area. On the plus side: It was a very reasonable price and internet and breakfast was included. The hotel was easy to find. Dunkin Donuts is right near by too, so that is always a perk! LOL! On the downside: The bathroom was extremely small, with the smallest sink and counter top that I've ever seen, but we only were in the room for a limited time and one night. The TV also had very limited channels and reception was not great.

Overpriced but less than the Marriott. My tub was visibly dirty, there phone system wasn't working, they overcharge for room service and no one at the hotel cared about compensating me for the problems. But it was convenient for an overnite trip.
