The Regency Hotel - دالاس

Will not stay in hotel again.

The hotel appears abandoned with more hotel workers than guests. It was very difficult to locate the lobby. The sign is a faint green that is difficult to see from the street. We had to circle the hotel twice before locating the entrance tucked in the back away from the service road. We had about 10 boxes of our product samples to take to the room. There were no concierge and we had to take multiple trips to the room.The bed sheet was stained and appeared unwashed. The first room had no tv service and we had to drag all our luggage across the hallway to another room only after we complained. The front desks are not very friendly. We needed a ride to the post office, the shuttle was sitting outside but no driver. Asked for a cab that took almost 30 minutes. We were late for our next engagement in Tulsa because we were late leaving the hotel.

I was very pleased once I got into the hotel... however it was a bit difficult trying to find the main entrance. Very pleased with the select comfort bed as well!!

Where to start... How about HORRIBLE and work my way to NEVER again! 1st impression - I really hope I don't come out in the morning to find my rental car vandalized. - elevators don't work, (when they finally did, they smelled of mildew); stairway door sticks open on carpet. Ceiling tile hanging down and carpet loose and peeling up in hallway. - ceiling in bathroom had water damage; room frig made more noise then tv. WiFi never worked or allowed me to connect in room. However, bed was very comfortable. Final straw - I realized every day I left the room my door was not locking behind me. With or without the key card the door would open. Whomever rated this a 3 star hotel or guest rating over 3 is seriously misinformed! Funny thing was I though I was really getting a great deal.

Horrible. Uncomfotable from a security standpoint. Dog inside hotel on my hall barking. Very easy to hear between walls, loud music next door. Babies crying. People running up and down the halls. All after and between the hours of 10pm and midnight. Apparently there was a karaoke at the hotel. I could hear the words in the conversation next door. The stairways were cluttered and unclean. The room smelled. Worst ever, never stay again.

we have been staying at this hotel for 12 years, we had non smoking room and people next door smoked, breakfast was poor choice, heat did not work in our room we were freezing, I would never stay there again.

So when we arrived at this hotel I was fearful that we had spent to muh to be in such a rundown hotel. The lobby was dated, the outside was falling apart, and the stairway smelled like smoke. The room, on the other hand, was great. It was clear that the hotel used to be a radison hotel, it had all the same fixtures as a few of the radisons we stayed at before. The bedding and and bed was very comfortable, a sleep number bed, and the bathroom was clean. So over all, locked our car up tight and didn't leave our room. But it was fine for what we paid, especially since it was OU/TX weekend.

There was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke, especially in my room. The towels were small, thin and rough.

I did not feel comfortable or safe at this hotel. If I was familar with the surrounding area, I would not have chosen this hotel.

The hotel key cards had to be reloaded each night so when you went off the hotel lot and came back the key to room and all outside doors did not open . Dont think I will be staying there again.

The room if cleaned would have been nice. The hotel is very dated. The refridgerator was very dirty and had MOLD growing in it. I went to iron a shirt and the iron fell apart. I took to manger and they tried to blame me of dropping it and said they would bill my card. They have not charged me for it. after a very long debate. The vending machines on all floors were sold out forcing you to use there new dinning facility and bar area. I rate that a 2. The security to building needed some attention. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!!

Hotel was clean n nice location closed to a lot of stores, I was surprised when we got to the hotel ,they had a little present for my dog. Even though they do take dogs(which I really appreciate ) the room didn't smell bad,it was nice, clean n fresh room. I will definetly stay again !!!

It was clean and comfortable. Perfect for the price. Unfortunately, there was no wireless that day. It went down.

Comfort all the way and the gentleman at the front desk 3-11 shift did exactly what a front desk agent should be doing. Professional and did his job well. Loved the rooms and the sleep number bed tops the hyatt grand beds, no contest. Didn't want to leave. Will be back.

It was so nice we stayed an extra day. Hard to find used garmen which helped.

The existing signs were covered up because they got ought and I wasnt sure if I was at the right place. You have to go through a restaurant to get to the pool, which doesnt make sense. I had to prop the door to the pool with a planter so that I could get back into the hotel. The sleep number beds are really not that comfortable.

First we were looking for the regency hotel sign...never seen, because The Radisson, is the sign that's up. Closet door off track. Handle on bathroom door needs fixing, run a shower and the tub will fill. They also advertise sleep number beds, neither worked. After we rode around so long,I couldn't even complain, the beds appeared clean so,I watched some TV and went to sleep. I couldn't have stayed for more than one night.

I needed a place that was close to a temporary skilled nursing home facility that my mom had been moved to, so it was close and my room was clean and it had good internet speed that I required. The negative was that it still had the name of The Radisson instead of the Regency, making it hard to find from the highway, so had to call for directions. It also looked like the majority of the hotel was under construction, but it didn't bother me since they put me in a different wing or building. Overall fine for the price.

The hotel was a Radisson at one time but it has since been sold. You can see the up keep on maitenance is starting to affect the quality. The temp. in the check in area was uncomfortable.

Had a great stay in Dallas. Staff was kind and responsive to our needs. Noise in room late night and and front desk took care of it within minutes. Third time stayng and loved the sleep number beds and comfortable sheets

FRIENDLY BARTENDER IN RESTURANT. FOOD WAS GOOD. GREAT SERVICE IN RESTAURANT/BAR AREA. HOWEVER THE POOL WAS CLOSED AND IT IS INTO JUNE NOW. YOU WOULD EXPECT THE POOL TO BE OPEN. THE OUTSIDE SIGN SAYS RADDISION HOTEL. THE HOTELS REAL NAME IS THE REGENCY HOTEL. I HAD TO CALL INFORMATION FOR RADDISON HOTEL TO MAKE SURE I WAS AT RIGHT HOTEL. YOU WOULD EXPECT THEM TO CHANGE OUTSIDE SIGN , WOULDN'T YOU."" I ALSO HAD TO ASK FOR ANOTHER ROOM, THE FIRST ROOM WAS NOT CLEANED AFTER PREVIOUS GUEST STAYED THERE. THE SECOND ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN. IT HAD SMALL REFRIEGATOR, MICROVAVE, SLEEP NUMBER BED (WHICH WAS VERY COMFORTABLE) I WOULD STAY AGAIN. BUT DON'T EXPECT TO GO SWIMING.

Ok, the price was good so wasn't expecting much.

Very great place to go the best it was i my first n i loved it

Hotel was adequate, clean and beds were comfortable. Our only problem was with the clerk when we checked in. We drove from OK City for hours in rain of biblical proportions and were happy to see the covered entry to the hotel. The clerk instructed us to unload and enter our bldg at another outside location. We and our luggage were soaking wet and then we were totally dumbfounded when we looked up and the same clerk was there to open the door as he had just walked down a short hallway INSIDE the dry hotel. Customer service? I think not.

Staff was great. Hotel is older and shows its age, but it was clean and comfortable, all things considered. The 'Sleep Number' bed has no numbers because the display was dead, and the bed made strange noises on its own and while it deflated. It was worth the price and I will be there again.

I had a pretty long day and instead of stopping at a area restaurant all I wanted to do is get back to the hotel and eat. When I returned however it was past 9:45 and room service was closed for the night. WHAT THE - really?!! Sounds pretty ridiculous that on a Friday night that it would close that early. When do they think most people order room service --in the middle of the afternoon or at night ???? So needless to say I was a bit MIFFED. I ended up eating at the Waffle House down the street - not bad but not exactly what I wanted.

If you are heading east out of Dallas this is a nice hotel. Restaurants in area are slim. But if you want a nice hotel this one is good.

Nice hotel

AN OLDER PROPERTY WITH AN ODD ENTRANCE: This is an older property but appears to have been updated and well-maintained. The hotel also has a bit of an odd orientation on its lot, The main entrance/lobby faces a neighborhood of apartment and office buildings instead of the nearby Interstate or the intersecting major street. Even after you locate the hotel itself, it's a little difficult and confusing to find the lobby entrance. Better signage in the parking lots would help with that problem. NO AVAILABLE OUTLETS IN THE ROOM: The room was clean and comfortable but the only available unused wall outlet (for cell phone charging and laptop computer use) was in the bathroom. Every outlet at the desk and at the bed had something already plugged into it. Either bring a power strip with you or you'll be forced to unplug a lamp, or the clock, or the refrigerator, or the Sleep Number air bed, or something in order to get an outlet. to use BREAKFAST ORDER CARD WAS NEVER PICKED-UP: I left the hanger card with my breakfast order (for a 6:30am delivery) on the doorknob by 9:00pm the night before. It was never picked-up and was still hanging there the next morning. I had to leave early and did not have time to place a breakfast order that morning. (That''s why I ordered it the night before. Duh.) However, upon check-out, the front desk comped my room service dinner the night before as compensation for the missed breakfast service. I felt that to be a fair and reasonable "make-good" for the missed breakfast order. OVERALL, IT WAS PRETTY GOOD: Every staff member that I interfaced with during my brief stay was friendly, professional, and helpful. Overall, it was a good experience, especially for the price charged. I have previously stayed at other hotels in the area that I would NOT recommend, but I would return to this one.

The room was clean but it was not at all what was expected -- Very tiny room with no overhead lights just lamps. Was OK for me & my child; two adults though could not relax in this tiny room. The surrounding neibourhood was ify at best. The gas station next door had break-in bars over the doors & windows which tells alot about the area. If you just need a quick place to lay your head and you don't want to hangout it works ok. Paid a low price & were only there to actually sleep (less than 6 hours) so it worked out.

The location to the freeway was convenient, but it was not close to any decent restaurants or stores. It is surrounded by gas station/quickie marts and other businesses that are not usually needed by hotel guests. The room was clean and odor free. The desk chair would not raise up and was uncomfortable. The room was adequate and there was nothing major wrong with it. I will just stay closer to Dallas the next time I am in town.
