Very convenient location. Just outside NYC. Only stayed for one night. The price and the location couldn't be beat!! Would definitely stay again

It looked kind of shabby when we pulled into the hotel, it was one of the cheapest rates I could find (138$ for a king), so we were concerned that we were going to have a room with rats and boarded up windows. But it was QUITE the opposite. This Days Inn had clean polished floors, gold guilted paintings in the lobby, the staff were very friendly, and the rooms were just as nice! The bathroom even had a bidet...nothing says fancy like a bidet. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with limited funds. Just be warned it is New Jersey, the traffic sucks and its a little hectic to get to the Hotel, and it's placed in a very industrial area so there's not much to look at, but it's worth the stay.

Convenient and a good value for the money compared to NYC. Nice restaurant and people. Had problem with room lock but nothing they could not fix. Comfortable beds.

Stayed here so I can attend a meeting in Hoboken, room was good but no hot water always starts a work day on the wrong foot, also getting to this hotel is quite a challenge when you don't know JC

You get what you pay for..close to manhattan..

Convenient, free parking, shuttle to Times Square, clean rooms, everything we needed for an inexpensive room. We spent two nights and really only went back to go to bed at night after sight seeing all day. Felt safe in the hotel, but didn't wander outside in the neighborhood.

Hotel was good. Clean and our room had many new improvements. Room service only left one towel when they cleaned room even though they know 3 were staying in room. Front desk were not too friendly. Felt as though I was bothering them when I needed something. Maybe it was just the New Jersey way. Very convenient location to get into NYC. Shuttle from Super 8, just across the street was only $3.00 each way and took only 15 to 20 minutes to get to Times Square and it runs every 30 mins. If you're looking for a good, low cost hotel close to NYC, this one will do. Plan on using it again this summer.

Hotel overall was great. Neighbourhood not bad. Had to walk a bit uphill to get Shopping Mall. Shuttle Services available from New Jersey Days in to New York Times Square for a fee. Not safe to travel at night with kids by transit but if couples or teen's then transit is much cheaper and come back at your leisure. Fantastic Diner near by. Open 24hrs. Great price and great food.!!!

Hotel was very conveniently located to Lincoln and Holland tunnels, room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel was being renovated, but floor my room was on was totally redone. Neighborhood was not family friendly (on busy road with no restaurants). All and all, good stay. Definitely a afforable option for next trip to NYC.

We checked in on Friday afternoon after 6 hours of driving. I was admiring the tiles that were beautiful and focusing on the brightness found a used condom on the floor. Called front desk and they sent the maintenance man because they didn't believe me. They changed our room to a king size bed and I would of rather sleep on the floor of how hard was the mattress. Honestly I will not recommended to no one.

The hotel was not bad. Old tv's. there parking lot is verey large and they still chared us for parking.

Really thing that Days inn needs to consider if this property should hand their sign without a fairly sizable investment in remodeling. Happy to speak with anyone from the hotel chain with more detail.

Horrible! I payed for an executive queen suite on hotels.com when I arrived the put me in a standard room. Looked very old and run down. I complained so they upgraded me according to them. New room was what I originally paid for. & it still seemed run down but improvement from first room. Then the AC leaked yellow condensation and ruined a very expensive shirt I had. All the bathroom towels also got stained. They only offered to give a credit of $50 & to speak with a manager the next day to get full refund of my stay because $50 for a $120 dress shirt wasn't good enough for me. Next day the manager was very unsympathetic and could care less. Told me there was nothing she could do. Then I was kicked out & told they had no rooms available when my plane got delayed & I needed to stay an extra night. To top it all offf. they tried to charge me an extra night I wasn't even there for. I had to show proof of my airline ticket & the time I arrived to prove I did not even arrive in town till the following day!! Pffff! Very unprofessional & crooks!

I enjoyed my stay...Initially it was the only hotel I could find while I was on business travel in Medford, NY, but I am glad I found it and it worked out.

The room I booked was not available and I was instead offered a downgraded room!!! Absurd! I had to wait an hour for the correct room which of course was given to me with extreme attitude. Bathroom was moldy and the plastic covering the bathtub was squeaky and thus taking a shower was extremely awkward ... just overall disappointing.

Hotel was reasonably priced, the floor i stayed on seemed like it was recently renovated so it was clean and tidy still ran into a cockroach in the bathroom though... Could hear doors slamming from my room and was close to traffic so could hear ambulances and police driving by.

Very good location to go to Manhattan. The public busses are very near by and there is one every few minutes. The hotel's shuttle service is far too expensive ($7 per person). It would have been nice to have breakfast included. The front desk staff supported us very good with getting a taxi to the airport.The rooms were nice and the air in the rooms was good (which is not always given in other hotels).

Except opf the above evevrything was fine.

Myself and three others stayed here for two nights so we could go to Comic Con 2012. We had low standards--we only wanted a decent room that was clean, inexpensive, and of course no bedbugs. We got what we were looking for! Hotel staff was friendly, and the location isn't bad if you're going to head into NYC. We drove to the ferry, parked, and took that across to make it from hotel to NYC w/in about 30-45 mins each day. Our room was clean and the price was great. It's comfortable enough for a few nights, but I don't think I'd stay much longer because the room was a bit small and outdated. It could use some updating, but that's really the only down side to this hotel. On a side note, the restaurant located within the hotel was excellent. We had breakfast there twice and both times it was delicious and reasonably priced.

This hotel was sparkly clean, well-kept, and comfortable. We used the shuttle to get into NYC and then covered Manhatten by subway and on foot. Although the area immediately surrounding the hotel was somewhat less than picturesque, I never felt concerned about safety issues. If you're driving, it can be tricky getting to the hotel the first time...be sure to get reliable directions!

We stayed here to be close to public transportation to NYC. The shuttle service is terrible. We booked the 9 pm shuttle to return to the hotel, got there 10 minutes early and sat until almost 9:30 in a hot, stuffy van before being told that it was actually the 10 pm shuttle we were on. An excuse was made about the 9 pm shuttle having left because it couldn't park and no notification that we were on the later vehicle until other passengers complained about the wait. The driver drove at excessive speed through the Lincoln tunnel and the person at the other end was abusive to my guests as I was attempting to pay the driver. We made this mistake only once. The hotel's web site falsely represents itself as being close to public transportation, but it is a $20 taxi ride to the PATH or ferry to NYC and a long and unsafe walk to find the light rail to these stations. The rooms were ok, but the sheets didn't fit the beds and were not changed during our 3 day stay. Only 1 face cloth left in the bathroom. For the price, definitely not worth it.

Well, what to say! The hotel in next door to the Holiday Inn and I would suggest booking there. The staff were excellent but when trying to represent a bad product they do not stand a chance! First impressions are a lot and my first impression was, what have I done! The rooms were clean enough when the furniture, curtains and bedding have obviously been around since the beginning of time!! I was lucky that I spent all day out of the place and only had to sleep there. I would really not recommend the place even though I have been generous with my markings. Stay elsewhere!

Hotel was great. Shuttle service , which was a key in booking ,was lousy at best! We left late, departed city early which resulted in us not being picked up on time night one. Communication with shuttle service was difficult. I realize that they are not affiliated with the hotel, but the hotel might want to communicate with them about providing shoddy service.

Mattress was as hard as a rock !! No boxspring sitting on a base only would never stay there again

First and the main u can't sleep in night as this hotel is in front of Highway...their room service is only 9AM-4PM....Lets talk about my room Bathroom was stinky....they clean only visible area...My 3 year old son was playing with his cars and one went under the bed....i can't even explain how dirty was it...Worst is still to come...I went to front desk and ask for a polybag...Gentlemen said: we don't supply polybags....Overall i will never ever sty in Days Inn.......

I really like the room, very nice and comfort.

We have stayed here a couple of times and learn things about getting around every time. The shuttle service from the hotel to NY and back was inconvenient and unreliable on the return trips,but we discovered that we could walk up the hill and catch abus for 1/3 the price and come back from the Port Authority Bus Depot on continuous shuttles again for 1/3 the price. We had some difficulty communicating with the hotel staff. Otherwise it wasa great - rooms were clean and comfortable.

I booked 2 non smoking rooms. One of them was filled with the stench of nasty ciggs but they did find us a new room. The hotel is not good by any means. Every room had a couple of broken lights. TV are old school. Beds were comfortable and thank fully NO bed bugs. Bathrooms were semi clean. I had long strands of hair stuck to the wall of the shower. This hotel is perfect if your bringing a hooker with you fora good time. If your coming to NJ with your family for your medical school graduation please book something else.

Although the hotel looks run down, the room was beautiful. A room I would love to stay for more than a night.

Our stay was short but nice. Wish we would have had more time to view all the sights. Would recommend to others.

I stayed here on a personal day in between work nights at different hotels, and loved it. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was fantastically well cared-for, and had a nice, huge tub with a ledge, perfect for reading and relaxing before a big day in the city. The shuttle the next morning dropped me off right in Times Square and I was off and running. The neighborhood isn't scenic or particularly walking distance to anything worth seeing, but it's also not not terrible, and is at least convenient via taxi to jersey city trains or shuttle direct to the city. Bottom line-- I spent twice as much on a room the night before on the company's dime and it wasn't nearly as comfortable or useful; next time they send me out there, I'm staying here regardless of who's paying. :)

When we arrived he had issues with the dead bolt on the door. We asked for a different room. Maint told us how it worked (as if we didn't know). So our entire stay we had to manipulate the door handle when leaving the room. Second day we asked for a new room due to the people accross the hall changing rooms all night and slaming doors. We were told they were sold out and couldn't change. So the third day the maids congregated ouside our door at 7am and talked for about an hour (this was also the case day four and five). So I asked again on day three to change rooms (around check in time) and was denied again. On the final day the manager asked how the room was. I told hime I had no sleep in 6 days. He said I should have told him and he would have changed my room. I told him I asked 3 times and 2 of them was to him personally. Will never stay here again.
